Looks like everyone is fixed on Arsenal Mercs... Go try a Pyrotech Merc and come back here then. You'll see that the only class that can beat you is a DPS Healing Tank Stealth Consular. But that's just normal... no one can defeat a DPS Healing Tank Stealth Consular.

Yes, thank you this was very helpful and motivating! I had a look at all the other posts too and I fully aggree. Pyro is realy a strong class and very fun to play. Also since Jedi melee class is a trend class kiting can be very handy. In the meantime I respecced to arsenal - and back to pyro again. With which skill?

Well I like mobility, but I'm not even quite sure how to play a pyro. I tried it yesterday and ended up spamming Incendiary Missile (It's called like that? The first skill in the pyro tree) and then the Thermal Detonator as finishing touch, mostly critting with 2k there. Can someone tell me what I need stat wise and play style wise to have a warzone damage of 500k? or at least 300. What i realy liked about playing a pyro is that you become a total jedi slayer. I hunted down several consulars and knights and also soloed two troopers thanks to the shield. Main problem is heat controle.

Just wondering if I should spec Pyrotech for mobility. Am I still able to crit for 6k at lvl 50 and fully geared/buffed?

To all people who keep saying that there are less people playing than during launch time... Let me think... could it be that the game was launched around xmas, exactly around and during holydays? Hmm could this have to do with the full servers at launch?? Not sure... you tell me. :confused: No seriously, I think a big factor of why there aren't as many people on like during launch is simply cause it's not in the middle of the holidays. With new updates coming and free trials I'm sure more people will start to join swtor.

Alright thanks. Do you also know how this works? I mean 101 % of bypass chance. Assuming my oponent is a tank and has 25 % dodge chance. How does my extra 1 % accuracy help me?

I'm playing a merc on DPS spec, currently level 43 (nearly 44) and very happy with my performance (1.7k crits sometimes on strong oponents and Elites is not bad imo), mainly most damage in warzones and a nearly full orange rated armor set. I mainly stack critical rating, surge rating, endurance and aim. Bioware recently stated that more accuracy can make you a tank killer in pvp, which sounds fun. Now I was wondering, if I get 101 % accuracy, how much armor is lowered on my target? Or basically how does the over 100 % accuracy effect the armor lowering on my target, how much armor is lowered, what exactly happens. Would love to gain more understanding on this if someone could help me.

This is what I expected and realy wanted. I Got the CE so I also want a certain Advantage for all that money without messing up other people's experience in the game due to inbalance of the CE items.

The title says everything BioWare. Make customizable swoop bikes, events similar to the boonta eve race during certain time periods of the year, maybe warzone like races on different planets. If SWTOR still had a real racing game part in it this would be 100% my game because I could switch between the classical MMORPG part of SWTOR and the fun Racing part mixed with the mmo style customization options. For Pazaak, we need it for Rolepalying and also because KOTOR had it. I guess everyone wants to see this back in "KOTOR 3", SWTOR. I think there's not much explanation needed why Minigames in general would be so awesome. There are lot's of threads mentioning Minigames like Pazaak or Swoop Races. Please dear SWTOR community, ask about Minigames for the upcomming Q&A if you also think we need the minigames from KOTOR!

accuracy is actually very important. If you get your Accuracy over 100 % then your attacks ingore armor and I think can't be dodged. I think I'd drop like 5 % of crit multiplier some endurance for a 100 % accuracy.

lvl 31 merc - over 250k damage in a pvp match vs lvl 50s (warzones of course not open world lol) To everyone saying that as an Arsenal you only Tracer Missile spam. You don't. If you do, obviously you'll be standing around a lot feeling like a turret or a rocket launcher. Also using Unload makes you immobile. The key to being mobile and doing massive damage, plus easily killing any Jedi: Keep moving, use your crit chance on normal attacks, use your mobile rocket launching abillities, combine stun with death from above... to me a merc has so many possibilities it's just awesome. Killing a Jedi is impossible if you stand still. That's why: Run sideways and shoot! that way the Jedi has to chase you and will never catch you. Combine this with a stun, Jet boost and rocket punch and you can kill any melee oponent in your sleep. I chose Arsenal because Arsenal just seemed to have most rocket supporting skills and abilities. The BH is made up of rockets so i though Arsenal would make most sense.
