  1. Guard and taunt need to be linked to the Defense Stat. Base they need to be 10%....and scale with Defense. That way true tanks get the benefit, and not DPS Tanks.

  5. Funny you should say that. A good portion of the 2 Guilds that I am in (on 2 different servers) have done just that. Also, remember you are comparing SWTOR to the MOST POPULAR MMO out there. They must be doing some thing right. Since people are leaving this game, you would have to come to the conclusion that BW is doing some thing wrong. FYI, I play Assassin, that is tank spec with dps gear. It is serious roll face on pure DPS classes.
  6. Yea, guys like Pistol are right.......they should keep every thing they have in PVP. I mean the game already lost 400k subs. Just leave it alone, maybe next quarter it will be down 500k subs. I can see rated warzones now. 4 Tanks in DPS gear, and 4 Healers. I am starting to see this now with the premades. They might have a couple DPS with them.
  7. Your right....they should survive twice as long as other classes and hit almost as hard.
  8. They have other specs. Tanks should do exactly what they are suppose to do. Soak up lots of damage, and be very hard to kill. Most of the PVP in this game is guarding a location. Tanks would be the perfect class to be the last one standing until reinforcements show up.
  9. Says the tank in DPS gear. Guard is not a 6 sec debuff. If healers truly need guard up, the game really isn't balanced then.
  10. Peeling should be pulls, which some classes have, or stuns which everyone has. The basic problem is healing in general here. Pure healer vs Pure DPS should be a stalemate, if the 2 just stand at each other and attack. The way BW has it now, Pure healer is at a disadvantage to Pure DPS.
  11. Guard and taunt need to have no effect in PVP. They are PVE abilities, and have no place in PVP. All of these Tank spec class need to have all effects scale with the Defense statistic. If they have no defense, then the abilities should be very weak. Interested in what other things people think should be changed to balance out PVP
