I haven't played to the end of the storyline, but did get quite far and... yeah, I've stopped because the other stories are simply more interesting and give me the feeling of having choice.
I can be a smart Sith by playing a Warrior. Inquisitor on the other hand, ends up being the brute you send to pick up the package rather than the mastermind.
The mastermind has ideas of his own, y'know. He actually gets to decide more things, when minions offer him choices. The choices I've had have mostly been mustache-twirling evil or "I love ponies".
I should not end up enjoying the warrior story more because of exactly the elements that were lauded and accorded to this storyline. I've so far had at the very least 2x many, probably more, chances to talk people into doing what I want instead of beating them.
While I wouldn't completely agree with the original poster, I do agree that this shouldn't have made it beyond editing. Great concepts. Bad execution.
