  1. I would LOVE if we in SWTOR could have the ability to build on our legacy. What I mean by this is for each class to have the ability to recruit. train or dismiss those who show potential. For example, a Sith Sorcerer could come across a child or adult who might possess the skills needed to become an apprentice. Or, perhaps that Sorc adopts a child or has one of their own to continue their legacy. This could work across all classes. Imagine being a powerful Jedi like Satele and your child isn't Force sensitive. What do you do? I think it'd be an interesting addition to gameplay.
  2. Irrespective of one's gear, this is story mode. It is ludicrous that the boss and the golds are easy but the silver kill you quickly. It's also stupid that the companion just stands there like an idiot whether he's heals or dps. If this wasn't a requirement for the story, I'd just skip it but this really needs to be fixed. This has been buggy since it launched and for something that's a requirement, there is no excuse as to why they've not fixed it. Also, ignoring your paying customers is a really bad move.
  3. As of 02-JUN-2021, I can attest that you still can't scan the Thranta Nest. Also, no response to my ticket. Sooo, SWTOR peeps, you gonna fix? I blew 18 mil to unlock the full stronghold and am really disappointed that I cannot scan this nest.
  4. I agree! I wanted to romance him from almost the beginning. I'd like to see more of those scenes as well. I was excited when I got to choose him but I lost him. I was looking at all the convo options with Nadia and was forced to accept her as a romantic partner. Sometimes for me (hitting and then in panic, spamming) escape doesn't cancel the convo so yeah, I lost him. Guess who watches YouTube videos to check out the convo options now? I recently made a suggestion to add a vendor for sad people like me who want to reroll their romantic partner. I mean, it'd be pretty easy for them to do and I would happily pay to get Arcann back.
  5. I have experienced issues with companion conversations. Sometimes I play almost all the way through just to see what happens and then cancel out by using the escape button. On occasion, hitting/spamming escape doesn't work and I am forced to stick with that conversation option. I was forced to accept a companion as a romantic partner because escape once again didn't work. Since there's no going back once that unfortunate choice had been made for me, I have a possible solution. Could you create a vendor where we can change that option? I assume you could reuse the conversations that allow the player to make that choice. Obviously, it's not going to work for any companions that are dead but it'd be nice to have that option for the ones who are living. There could be a fee (credits, cartel coins, cash) to make that change. I've posted this in the comments section of several SWTOR streamers and have gotten positive replies so I think this is something many people would like. Please consider this suggestion. My healer would be happier romancing Arcann again instead of Nadia.
  6. This is a garbage FP. Story Mode....seriously? No effing way I can complete this as a healer with a crappy "tank" companion. And oh, thanks for everything respawning at the boss cuz THAT makes it feel like hey, story mode...no problem. FFS, I would do this with a group but couldn't find AS a group...freaking worthless.
  7. I completely agree that the companion romance options are broken and SWTOR are zero f's given on fixing them. In my case, I was unable to cancel a companion conversation. I spammed the crap out of my escape button but I was forced into a relationship with a toon that I DID NOT WANT. I have sent in tickets only to be told too bad so sad you're stuck with this. My issue is that on other games and non-gaming related material, my keyboard works perfectly. So, this can't be my system; instead, a game issue. If SWTOR continues to refuse to fix this, the very least they could do is set up a terminal where you can change your romantic partner preference. I'd spend the damned credits at the terminal to change. This is my main toon, my healer who has nim completed content and this has totally screwed me over and tbh diminished my enthusiasm with the game because these people don't care that they're screwing over ppl who've been playing since launch.
  8. I've been following Vulkk for a couple of years. Glad to see he's getting some additional exposure to the SWTOR community! I really enjoy his videos and his perspectives on the game.
  9. Since KOTFE, I've had a problem with conversations. For some of them, hitting the escape button DOES NOT work. In other instances, speeding through a convo using the space bar WILL NOT work. My sage was on the Nadia companion mission. I hit the wrong button and the game would not let me back out of the convo. So, the outcome I got was NOT the one I wanted. I'd chalk it up to human error or my PC being crappy, however this has not happened on any other game I've played. As I stated above, I noticed from the onset of KOTFE. This is my ops healer, my pvp healer - literally my main toon with nim cheevs. I am employed (usually working overtime these days) and with a family. I cannot literally invest that much time into another toon because you guys won't fix what's broken. I've been told that there's nothing I can do about this. Really? In a digital world there's nothing that can be done about this? I've not accepted the mission reward. My toon, my MAIN toon, is now parked. I don't believe nothing can be done. If a player exploits the game, gear, mounts, titles and cheevs can all be taken away and you're telling me that THIS cannot be undone? I am asking, as a loyal player and customer since launch, to please reconsider. I've never asked for anything from SWTOR to be changed as I've accepted it when I screwed up. In this case, I sincerely believe there is some glitch or bug in the system because this has happened to me multiple times in this game from KOTFE on and does not occur with other games. Please stop with the canned responses and please listen to me. I get that this is a game and not real life but when this seems to be a SWTOR systems issue and not my fault I fail to understand why you won't fix this.
  10. So if someone has been a loyal customer since launch, has an in game error (NOT personal computer error) which screws up a mission's results, is it true that you guys WILL NOT reset the mission? Even if I haven't accepted the mission reward? I cannot believe you guys don't have the power to do that considering you're able to ban people, take stuff out of their inventory (exploits) and removing cheevs from exploits - which is technically resetting someone. Can you tell me how to escalate this above an in game service ticket? My main toon is literally parked until this is resolved and that sucks for me because she's my ops healer and I have nim cheevs (the wings and the mask and the title, for example!!!!) that were awful to get and I don't have that kind of time anymore to roll another toon and go through that - adulting sucks sometimes but it pays the mortgage. I'd appreciate your thoughts, thanks!
  11. WTH....game download stuck at 0 for an hour now. I was like a kid, anxious to get home from work and play SWTOR but no....This is worse than getting a lump of coal at Christmas.
  12. First, I want to say that I LOVE Star Wars and I LOVE SWTOR - I happily left WoW when SWTOR launched. Overall, I have been super happy with the game. But, there are some issues that are really frustrating and make no sense. 1) Cost to rip out mods - so, I buy gear with my comms for another toon. This usually happens when I have a well-geared toon and have no need for the basic comm gear; however, my other toon could REALLY use the gear so...I buy the gear with my comms, pay a ton of creds to rip out mods, armor, etc and put in legacy gear. Spend creds to mail to other toon. Spend MORE creds to rip out and put in that toon's gear. Can we either reduce the amount it costs each time we rip out or can we have the cost ONLY APPLY when ripping from the comm gear? 2) Re-buy certain Cartel items - apologies if I muck up the name but the Investigator's gear is 1200 cc - EVERY freaking time I want to use it. Can we PLEASE just pay it once and add to our collection? That is an outrageous price to have to keep paying. That ties into this: 2.1) If I buy cartel gear, crystals, etc, I'd really like it to be unlocked for all toons without having to pay MORE coins to unlock for my legacy. This brings up the next point: 2.2) It would be really cool if we had a "select all" button to add all vehicles, emotes, toys and titles to all toons. I have 21 toons and it's super tedious to go through each one every time I buy something, unlock it, and then have to add for each toon - huge waste of game time! 3) Rishii datacron glitch - this one just about made my head explode. I spent HOURS trying to get the 3 grophets. Got them. I got the smelly bottle and skull - no problem. I get to the island with the skull on the rock to get the final buff - NOTHING. I tried all 3 instances - NOTHING. So I tried to make a run for the datacron rock and died by poisoned crabs. I stood on datacron rock hoping I could just have the tentacles smack it but nothing happened. I had to leave for a bit, came back and guess what? Apparently the stupid buffs go by real time and not gameplay time. Someone had already busted open the rock so I got the datacrons but what I really wanted was the darn title" Lord of the Ocean. I am super ticked off that I was denied that simply because the stupid process is glitched, according to people I polled in gen/fleet chat as well as online comments. 4) ToS walker boss enrage timer - okay, perhaps dps needs to pick it up a bit and perhaps it would help if I as a healer didn't get over tagged by the grenades but really, an enrage timer on story mode? Stupid. We were less than 10% until we had the bosses - probably only needed 30 more seconds and couldn't get it done. This happened consistently. The fight felt more like HM than SM. Can we either get rid of the timer or perhaps extend it a bit? This too has been a complaint from people I've asked. I mean, I am running with a group who've cleared HM no problem and have done quite a bit of NM so really there's not a lot of derp going on! 5) Combat droid - while having the combat droid overall is fine, I can't for the life of me figure out its role. It's a crappy tank - it prefers to draw aggro on the adds leaving me (not a tank) to deal with the boss who won't leave me alone. My companions can out taunt it. As for healing, let's just say I NEVER let anyone in my group get that low before throwing heals their way. In addition to that, the stupid droid disappears and leaves me to fend for myself. Argh - talk about a lot of pressure for a little ol' sage healer! In conclusion to this long rant, again overall I love this game but wish for some changes if possible. Oh, guess I will also throw in a wish for new faces, hair, eye color (would love purple eyes for humans!) and more gear that doesn't look like everything else. Oh! And, some nicer facial hair for guy toons - the 70's **** 'stache and lumberjack beard are just not attractive! Maybe new romance options for the females - seriously, Lord Scourge would be waaaaay better than Doc, Lt Pierce better than Quinn, etc - just sayin'!
  13. I agree. I pretty much hate all of the male companion customizations. My female toons don't really want to romance them b/c they're not very attractive.
  14. Warning: this is going to be a long post! My wish list is for all hairstyles, colors, etc to be made available to all races and classes. Also, I'd like to see better facial hair for the men. The beards are ridiculous - could we have something more trim and less lumberjack? And, the mustaches look like 70's **** stars - blech. The women's hair overall is lame. Can we get some cute hairstyles without having hair hanging in the face, ridiculous pig tails or Vulcan bangs?!!!? Also, instead of full color, can we have streaks of color - I might actually go for more brightly colored hair then. Purple eyes would be amazing!!! I'd also like to be able to personalize my toons further. I play Sims and I love that I can change the size and shape of body parts to make each Sim unique. I can also change the pitch of the voice. I'd also like the male body type 3 to not look so ridiculous - giant chest and narrow hips looks really weird. I'd also like to see a PERMANENT ban on the Series (fill in the #) robotic gear. It was stupid looking the first time and however many renditions later, it is still stupid. Speaking of bans, class mission, space mission, pvp, exploration boosts need to GO! I feel cheated every time I open a cartel pack and I look at crap that I have to throw away because nobody wants them. Cartel items: if I buy the damn thing with my coins, I don't want to have to pay MORE coins out to unlock it for all toons. Also, when I'm finished wearing gear and want to dispose of it, I'd like to be able to sell it at a vendor. Otherwise, I have to throw it away or let it take up space in my cargo. Mounts: flying mounts - WoW did it, so can these guys. Story lines: I want to see potential faction changes. As in, a Jedi switches to Sith and there's a whole story behind it. How about a light side Jedi who gets tempted by a Sith and can either follow that path or stay as a Jedi? How about a Trooper who has these cases of unbelievable good luck and finds he is Force sensitive? He could opt to train as a Jedi or stay a trooper...or perhaps be swayed to the dark side? What about additional classes and how would those work out? Maybe an actual Hunter class that can tame animals to fight by his/her side? Maybe an ambassador class that is a neutral faction and tries to facilitate peace between Imps and Pubs? Maybe a merchant class, also neutral that can not only make goods, but sell them (without GTN getting a commission - really, Bioware?!!?). I'd like to see Rakata developed into a full story line for each class. It's a beautiful planet and I am really sick of city planets and planets that look like Voss/Belsavis/Makeb. Kashyyyk would be a great idea as well. Maybe Naboo? How about some sort of FP in the Kessel Mines? Rather long-winded I know but I've had 3 years to think of these things. I'd like to see some serious changes so that the game feels fresh.
  15. So, granted people can do their homework but then there is an argument you can watch unfold on fleet. People will say certain sites like Dulfy are the SWTOR Bible and others will say Dulfy is a hack. Also, people don't always know there are forums that provide great information or for people like me, really don't have the time to spend HOURS searching the web for an answer to one question. That is why people like me go to those who are knowledgeable and are proven to be quite proficient in pvp, ops, gear, etc. From my perspective, the people I run with are more reliable than most sites and forums. I think for the people who do suggest do your own homework and stop bothering me, they want the fancy house but don't want to work for it. In other words, they want a server full of experts but don't want to do anything to contribute to the betterment of gameplay on the server. Complaining and negativity result in others having a bad opinion about that person and an unwillingness to have them join their groups, regardless of how well they play. I for one am more than happy to help others, even if my own stores of knowledge is limited. We were all noobs once; it's time to pay it forward...
  16. I have to disagree with some of the nay-sayers, For me personally, I know EXACTLY what to do in pvp. I understand my role and I understand the basics, as in fight on the turrets, call out inc, etc. What I have experienced in pvp is that people will leave our turret and then I, typically on my healer, is left guarding which as you all know is a really bad decision. The one good thing I can say about WoW pvp is that people protected their healers better. That is not the case in SWTOR. I'd like to understand why the team wouldn't protect the people who can keep them alive. It seems like people run amok with no plan and no concept of what needs to happen. My most successful runs are typically with my guild because we use TeamSpeak and have a plan. It seems to me those plans are really simplistic and should be utilized universally, What I find though are people like Okiko and Jodokast who complain yet contribute minimally to the success of the team. I'd like to postulate a theory perhaps that the ones who complain the most yet contribute the least (and typically bail in the middle of the match regardless of who's winning) are the problem. It would be great if we could learn our roles in PVP, learn the objectives and then work as a team to win. I am not a strong PVP player but because I understand the aforementioned items it does make me a good player. My perception overall (and I don't mean to sound sexist - this is just observation from 3 years into this game) is that we have a lot of young male players with lots of testosterone who feel they have a lot to prove but do not actually exert the will to do so. There is a lot of braggadocio and "member measuring" - which as a female I do find puzzling but that is a different topic altogether. If we as a group could put our pride, our self-esteem issues, etc. and come together as a united front to work together we could seriously make this a kick *** server. I know many of you are amazing players and I would love to have your skills, but to the rest of us who struggle, it would be in everyone's best interest if we put our pride to the side and concentrate on the greater good. Overall, this is a great game and I want to see it continue long after WoW is lying in ashes...
  17. I'd like to add that I was a very horrible player. I didn't understand the classes and certainly didn't see the point in pvp and ops. When I finally figured out I was missing out on a couple key points of playing the game, there were people in my guild who would not take the time to teach me so essentially I was not included in their groups. A couple of great guilds (Aeternum Ascension and Second Mass) were happy to train me and run me through the ops, showing me the mechanics and rotations needed to be an asset, rather than a liability to the group. Because of their patience and excellent training, I now have several different guilds who welcome me and seek me out. I cannot say enough how I think this will help out so many people like me who want to participate but haven't had a strong mentor to guide them. My thanks to all of you for participating in this summit and your willingness to train people so that our server has a strong, high quality pool of pvp and ops players!
  18. I seriously doubt my rant will change things but I have to say that the walker drop from the Nightlife pack was extraordinarily dismal. Never in the 3 years I've been playing have I bought so many hypercrates and individual packs and still not get one. The only one on gtn is posted by a guy who thinks it's worth 44k (next week he'll post it for 55k). While I don't mind buying the hypercrates and packs, I'd like to feel as if the money I'm spending would in the end go to something more worthwhile than the damned stupid robot gear that nobody wants, the stupid boosts nobody wants and the antique socorro weapons nobody wants. In the past I have been very pleased with the drop rates and haven't minded buying 2-3 hypercrates to get what I want, but this drop rate is unreasonable and is making me think that going forward I am not going to bother with any of the packs if this is what a sub should expect.
