  1. Yeah, these situational abilities are a strange thing. Since you almost never use Chilling Scream in PvE, Savage Kick is nigh on worthless. Except for the times you wish to laugh at the animation. Pommel Strike is good for doing dailies since it can be used after any of your stuns/fears. I still think there is an issue with Pommel Strike not doing any damage though. There are times when I've used it, the move has played out but the mob has lost no health. If we had a combat log I'd know what was going on!
  2. Nope. Music coverage and context queuing in WoW is actually worse than TOR. The only time it feels 'better' is when you enable it to loop continuously. There are far too many prolonged silences in TOR, that I can agree with.
  3. It's mostly the dps that needs good gear for heroics. Alot of the bosses have short enrage timers.
  4. There are two tanking sabers in Kaon from the pink gerkin beast, both with 41 End/Yellow.
  5. You get to look like an under developed Decepticon in your tier armour.
  6. You are on the fleet. You click the lift to your class hanger. You are taken straight to your ship. If some quests deems that you need to enter you ships hanger, then just do it automatically. On your ship you access the Galaxy Map and click a planet. The planet detail screen appears. At the bottom of the screen there are two buttons. Travel to Planet and Travel to Orbital Station. If a quest requires you go to the Orbital Station, it has the Quest symbol on the button and the Travel to Planet Option is greyed out. When clicking on a Shuttle door to leave a planet you are presented with a menu of <Your Ship>, Orbital Station, The Fleet. Again, quest markers show on appropriate buttons and required steps for class stories grey out other options. There are probably some pitfalls to work around here but the point is that the current system is obnoxious and it needs to be looked at.
  7. For Orange gear take the Defence mod from Belsavis and the Absorb Enhancement from Ilum. Your stats will be fine this way. Once you're done with the defense mods start taking the absorb mod for tinkering purposes in the future. You don't need to over think these mod decisions and be super geared for hard modes though. Just start doing them and get the Columi gear asap.
  8. I would kill for them to just reduce the cooldown by one global. The class would play much more fluidly. Preferably Bioware should change the talent in the Vengeance tree that applies additional Sunder Armor stacks (Improved Sundering Assault) and make it reduce the cooldown by one second per talent point instead. That would be good times all round. More homeruns, easier tab sundering, more rage in Flashpoints. Everyone's a winner.
  9. Baras is easy to rush down with Vette, yes. That's how I killed him too. That's not to say she is the best though. For general use, in situations that 'could' be tricky Quinn is the man. For most other times, and for when you have a plan, Vette is probably the best.
  10. Ravage should be at least useful to all specs. Currently it's poor. Would allowing the stun that's applied to standard mobs be so overpowered if it affected players too? Really?

  12. A pretty accurate summary. However, there are just some things you cannot kill without Quinn. Proper Champions, Double Elites and so on.
