I love everyone comparing SWTOR to the movies space combat scenes. Last time I checked Anakin and Obi-wan were not on rails...

I loved The Space Combat in Star Wars Galaxies. It was like a simple flight simulation yet it still had the elemants of the MMO genre with seperate space leveling and buying better parts for you're ship. The biggest thing I hate about the space in SWTOR is that your first and only ship you get is like some massive light freighter. I miss in Galaxies where you started with some TIE Fighter or a Z-95 and it took a long long time to eventually get a massive ship like a YT-1300. I remember the first time some guy got a few guys together to go do some space missions in his huge ship and we all got on the turrets. I miss Galaxies so much

I've got a thread in my signature with around 17 pages of people requesting species and I also counted a lot to see what species were most popular. What Species do you want to be playable?

I still use that "Jedi Hoodie". I've got Synthweaving and made a really good body armour which is the same type just another colour. But I also agree that the hoods up are annoying. They should be an option in the character screen so you can chose hood up or hood down. I would even like to see what the "Jedi Hoodie" would look like with the hood up.

Togruta seems to be very popular. If Togruta was added in they should definatly add in the Iktotchi and Chagrian At frist I posted this in the community section then it got moved here. Suggestion box would be a nice place to move it to.

Whats with everyone saying that the pros and cons my OP are biased? Of course they are *********** biased, they are completely my own opinion. I'm just asking for you're opinions on the matter. God some people just want to dig at you instead of just joining in a friendly conversation.

I just want to get some opinions on this. I've talked to a lot of people in game and have gotten a lot of different views so I want to see what people think here. What would you want SWTOR to be? The game right now is completly story driven. It's great but I prefered the more sandbox and free style of Star Wars Galaxies oposed to the linier feel of The Old Republic. I couldn't think of many so I'll update the list if I agree with any Replies. Story Driven Pros - Great Storylines - Time/Progession is easier to implement (If you know what I mean) Cons - Very Linier - Harder to RP - Everyone is given the same path - Everyone is the "Chosen One" of their class (Example: Jedi Knights are the best of the council and all Troopers are part of Havoc Squad the best squad in the Republic) Sandbox Pros - More Freedom - You chose your own path - You are your own person - More Time Consuming (For Hardcore Gamers) Cons - More time consuming (For Casual Gamers) - Time/Progession is harder to implement

Wow people complain whenever they have maintenence now their only 10 minutes late and people complain more? And I'm pretty sure you cancelling wouldn't make a difference... There's still millions of others playing.

I love all of Bioware's great single player RPG games. They are evolutionary to the RPG genre. But god they can't make MMORPGs... It's like they've tried too hard to mix singleplayer RPG into the MMO part... Playing this game just makes me miss Star Wars: Galaxies...

I have to disagree. I've played a lot of characters but I find the Jedi Knight and trooper to be great. The Sith have ok stories but I prefer republic. Mainly because I think the sith look stupid with their black, red and pruple fantasy evil armour. The Jedi and Trooper look cool.

I thought a Imperial Trooper would be fun. The Imperial Trooper NPCs look cool.

In my opninion Galaxies was the best MMO ever. I'm sad I didn't play it so much. I didn't appreciate it a lot until it was gone

For the epic storylines and great singleplayer style 9/10 For being a MMO 4/10 You might not understand what I'm saying but I just don't like how this game is a MMO. MMOs in my opinion should be more Sandbox and not following big storylines. While TOR is more storylines and is very linier.

I just thought. Cereans would be a good species to add in. They have really long head but human like faces so they could work. I would also love to be a Vurk. They are pretty cool looking. Coleman Trebor was the only Vurk in the movies I think and he has like a 5 second scene we Jango shoots him.
