Adding stuff to the CM is cool.

Only adding stuff to the CM is meh. At least we have the GS armor set, but the only (non repu) new things we have had in a while has been the Interpreter's Retreat sets.

The new Seasons track this week also includes new armor, weapons, mounts, and decorations we don't even have to pay for, so I don't get what you're complaining about. 😒 New CM additions have usually been released with every update for a long time now.

but I also don't understand the appeal of dressing your (e.g.) bounty hunter to look like a space samurai. he's not a samurai. he's a mandolorian. they have a certain aesthetic, and it's not "samurai."

Samurai-style Mandalorian armor is movie canon though; there's a set of it in Dryden Vos' office in "Solo".

Sometimes it's 'Premades ruin PvP' because they ignore objectives.

You forget the other half of that: people get mad at premades for ignoring objectives, AND also get mad at premades for taking and winning them too! 🤷‍♂️

"Yup" as is you've never grouped?

This premade argument. So tiresome. When people say 'Premades ruin PvP', what they actually mean is 'LOSING to premades is ruins PvP for ME'.

So then the crusade to banish, separate, remove and ignore them starts. People moaning about premades never mention the times when they have a premade on THEIR team that help them win the match/round, by virtue of high, co-ordinated dps and tactical nous. They never say that.

Oh but even if they win, then they'll then complain winning was TOO easy/boring.

Just quit the WZ. The debuff is only 5 mins. If everyone on the team quits, it will abort the WZ. The only way to win is not to play. If everyone does that, it will force BW to listen to us.

Coordinated action? That sounds like premade talk to me!

  6. What they think we do

"Ok, (player 1) grab west, while (player 2) hits east to distract them. The rest of us use knockbacks and stuns to tie up the enemy while (player 3) caps."
"(Enemy tank) just swapped guard focus, switch dps to (enemy 2)"

    What we really do:

(slurring) "Man, I am like so drnk/high right now~" 🥴

I'm sure there are some guilds/premades that use voice chat to deadly effect, but for my 8-man guild premade, the chat during matches is mostly just the kind of  mumbly random stuff that drnk/high people come up with. 🤣

I hope it won't be the standard, but I kinda feel like Mondays and Tuesday mornings are really broken when it comes to solo arenas. It seems like ppl are rushing for their weekly pvp objectives desperately before the reset, meaning as a solo player you either get picked to the premade of 3x339ish team or to the ~330ish (324-334). (While there is a scaling system, we all know how trash that is.)

Of course, people started to use /stuck as they don't want to waste even a second on such games. So, I am wondering how bad it gets as sometimes you can see this behavior even if you might have some chance. Yet, I admit that sometimes it is a relief that I don't have to spend like 10 mins on games, where I might get 0-1 medals.

The irony of /stuck-ing in Arenas, as a response to premades, is that it becomes a snowball-effect; if I solo queue and get stuck with people who don't even want to try, then I would have to form a premade to avoid getting saddled with such people.

    Madness/Balance

    Reasoning:  High Burst DMG

lol, wut? Not how DOT classes work. It's literally the opposite; almost all of Madness' attacks take a long time to apply their damage, or else have an interruptible charge up/channel time, thus giving the opponent time to apply DCD's, cleanses, or get healed. Yes, it puts up high total damage numbers, but it's also slow "fluff" damage that can be healed through almost as quickly as it's applied. Deathbrand/Death Field is the only insta-cast hard-hitter, and doesn't have any other similar moves to chain with to make a burst rotation.

  9. It should also be added that if you have to go from A to C (or vice versa) to reinforce it, you may come under fire from enemies at B, unless you waste time and engine energy to skirt around it. So by the time you reach the far end, you may not only be tapped on engine power, but possibly shields/hull as well.

I would like to see personal flagships as strongholds. Smaller than the Guild flagship strongholds, but larger than the personal ship.

For example: The Hammerhead class cruiser for Republic players and an Imperial ship of similar size for Imperial players.

It could say be 2 or 3 levels instead of the 5 you get with the Guild flagships.

    Say for example:

Middle/main floor: Command bridge, left and right gunner, analytics, engine room, common area.

    Lower floor: A hanger

Upper floor: General's quarters, crew quarters, other rooms?

Something like this I feel will be neat given the progression of the characters. Feels kind of weird still using the Defender as my ship.

With the Harrower and Valor ships already used as guild flagships, being able to have the Terminus destroyer/Thranta corvette as personal (mobile!) strongholds makes perfect sense. Though I could understand if they run into complications with making it moveable between planets, I'd still be happy if it were parked at the Fleet.

If nobody answers a call or distress signal then that can either be due to lack of awareness (not seeing it), lack of caring (nah, lose uptime on the enemy) or lack of coordination (because if all answer the call nobody is pushing the enemy where the fight currently was). So how to tell those apart?

^ This. It's big assumption that people aren't responding to calls because they're all just "farmers". If someone's engaged in combat in a big fight at mid or wherever, they're likely in the middle of getting hit, rooted, and/or stunned, and not easily able to disengage, to slowly walk all the way to one end of the map. Even if everyone had time to read/process the chat box in the middle of an intense fight, I think it's more likely many people assume "someone else has got it/can help, I'm just hanging on here".

  12. On a related note, do y'all think the Crit proc relic is useful/preferable for PVP, or is it better to stick with the Mastery + Power proc relics? I see that the Crit proc relic adds about 9% to my crit rate, pushing it to about 46% crit rate, which seems pretty good to me, but not sure if having reliable numbers from Mastery + Power relics is better.

  13. I had a Voidstar match last night where my side ended up being made of 2 premades: my guild (4), and another guild (4). I thought it was going to be a steamroll, but we got embarrassed badly, as the opposing PUG team made it all the way to the end in like record speed. Not saying it's a common/regular occurrence, but just a reminder that being a guild or premade doesn't necessarily mean skill or coordination. Some, like mine, are just deathmatching it.
