    at first I was going to chime in "isn't this what the DPS spec of scoundrel/Op are supposed to be" but then saw you wanted to be a force user.

     

    IMO the least resource intensive way to get this done is to get rid of one of the Sent/Mara builds since its the only pure DPS AC in the game. That way you don't have you re-do the game. You could bring in existing skills/animations from Sage/Sorcs, All the dialogues would remain the same. easy peasy

    Looking for a fun Melee combat Class viable for PvP &PvE

    Here we go...I will describe, w/the Imp class first...

     

    Marauder/Sentinel: Pure melee. You get to use 2 light sabers. Big damage numbers if you can learn. My main is a Concentration Sent so i'm biased. Both stories are fun, very "Star Warsy"

     

    Assassin/Shadow: Pure melee, you get to use a dual saber and cloak. Assassin's story is fun. Shadow's is cool if you like being a diplomat in Ch 2 and 3.

     

    Mixed Melee ( Cuz you use blasters/rifle can use a little ranged)

     

    Operative/Scoundrel More known as healers than DPS. Both can cloak. Some say Agent's story is best (Too James Bond, not enough star wars for me but it was fun). Scoundrel, think Han Solo.

     

    BH (don't know which AC, never played)/ Vangaurd. More known as tanks and i'll leave it at that.

     

    For pure melee, whack 'em with glowsticks...Mara/Sent then Assassin/Shadow. That's my $0.02

    I dunno. Who's to say Disney wouldn't be worse with the money grubbing in the game dept.?

     

    I guess my point is, go over to the Star Wars section in the this forum and you can read all the "I hate what Disney did with the sequels!!!" but wait they're going to open up a game studio?!? CLAP HANDS! CLAP HANDS!...

    LOL...i'm almost embarrassed to mention...

     

    2,610 days (joined 12/24/11...It was my christmas present to me)

    I remember wanting a new game, never played KOTOR, but i remember reading about it so i looked it up and hear i am.

    It's funny. I have legendary status, pretty much champion rep with every faction except kuat and ossus but for almost the first year to 2 years I refused to play imp side. I'm old enough that I can say I've seen all the original trilogy movies in the theaters and growing up i wanted to be the Jedi Knight. Then one night I decided to roll a mara (shocking), and i can say I really do enjoy the imp side too, so much that I want to build my knowledge on that side of the hill too.

     

    Regarding the stories, in my head I love my knight and smuggler as they were the first classes I played. Then I like SW, SI, JC*, BH, with Trooper and Agent taking up the rear.

     

    2 things...first let's start with me putting the agent story low (my opinion), its not star warsy (is that a thing?) enough and to be honest the story, while good, is predictable. The trooper story...3 words "for the republic" gets old.

     

    Well I guess 3 things. The JC story. (why there's an asterisk) It drags and it is monotonous, but its star warsy (I'm making this a thing) and here's why. In my opinion again Jedi were also the diplomats for the republic because they held no bias except for the republic, so sorry that's the story that has to be told as this class and yes it can drag but that's the JC. not fun story (FUN to play) but needed as a jedi character in this game.

     

    sorry so long a post, but this has been on my mind for a while and yes i enjoy playing.

    OP, just in case : you do know sending even a lvl 1 char to your second server will give you legendary status over there too, right ?

     

    I'm fairly sure you do, but just in case. :d_confused:

     

     

    (and YES you can send a lvl 1, despite what transfer tooltip says ; done it dozens of times)

     

    True...but in my case its just not the same. I know, I know, I said i didn't want to do the Ossus grind but i'm doing a completely different grind. :o

    I spent over 2 hours yesterday going through my spreadsheet updating toons/roles/levels etc. Granted, the pain is self-inflicted as i have 42 spots open, I have legendary status on Shan and i'm working towards that on Forge. (its the one thing that is motivating me to play. If there were some cool reputation stuff on Ossus, i'd be more motivated to do the 'Grind'...but I digress).

     

    I guess my question to the community is what kind of tools do you use to keep track of things. Feel free to describe your version of Alt horror, or how you manage the GTN. How do you organize your alts, is it by male/female/role (like Girl Shadow Tank) or by LS/DS alignment or both?

     

    EDIT-I'd like to add I'm curious to see what other people do.

    I'm proud of my "Founder" title too, but because this is my 1st and only mmo. (Yes, i was that guy on chat asking what 'LFM' meant :D)

     

    Another one that i'm personally proud of but haven't seen is "Master Craftsman"...i'm proud of that grind...

     

    Finally, the one that cracks me up...all my female smugglers get "Flygirl", (Going back to those 'In Living Color' days)

    I realize this is a small issue, but this really bugs me. I hate using the "Founder" tag in forums, (but i did there :rak_01:), but when i first created my toon, way back when, I made him look like me. I'm of mixed race so I have dark brown eyes, not hazel, not light brown, not green, not blue, not light blue...brown dark brown. So when I look at my toon, i no longer see "me" in the SW universe, i just see well a toon.

     

    I hate to play the race card, but man, most brown people (I said most, not all) , most brown people have dark brown eyes. How in the heck did this get through review?...man this is getting me worked up...:rak_04:
