i disagree. i dont play bethesda games (fallout3, elderscrolls, etc) because i dont like sandbox. i want to be guided and hear their story. bethesda and bioware are on polar opposites of video game design, man. i loved mass effect and dragon age. gearbox hit it out of the park with borderlands, as far as my tastes go. i didnt last on eve, because there was nothing to do. i even called it an MMORPG... a Massively MINING RolePlaying Game. i would have liked to have seen a little more of the LOTRO style phasing in the game, where after a certain event happens, the world looks different than it did before. but, maybe in the future that could be added, but its just icing, and i want CAKE!

im sorry for your lost time. that does sound like a real bite in the bag. just remember though, that mindless crafting does not mean crafting mindlessly.

i find that doing the "Rich Yield" ones give me the best chance at getting them.

having worked for another company that has been wildly successful in the MMO space, (brrrr! its cold in here!! ) i can tell you that the usual practice for them is stratifying by level. so a sub level 10 toon would be deleted in x number of days, a character between 11-40 would be around for 6 months to a year, and 41-50 would never be deleted. that is just a rough idea, not exact. my advice to you, is to take your low level alts and move their non-bound stuff to your main or other high level toons and have them keep it in trust until such time as you come back, then you can just mail your low level stuff back to your new toons upon your return.

yep, Aint No Rest for the Wicked is definitely definitive of the class. the theme songs to both Firefly and Boardwalk Empire reflect the mood of the class. my character's theme song though, is "Woke up this Morning" by A3, the theme song to the Sopranos. he flies through space with a cigar in his yap, just like Tony.

got to be the most inane reasoning ive ever heard. try to "understand" your way out of being boarded and ransomed by somali pirates. no amount of "feeling their pain" will help you. i cant believe people think like this. more, i dont want to believe it. both sides in warcraft were self serving and took extraordinary measures to achieve victory. neither side was good, why? because warcraft is a blatant ripjob on warhammer. and neither of those sides are boots whose heel i would relish living under. now back on topic. republic is a corrupt government, about to be toppled. this was not in its prime. all governments have their weak times, and some survive, others get supplanted by another. those who fight for the republic may not necessarily be red blooded patriotic, but they see the alternative and fight on. this is very reminiscent of the last years of the roman empire. and maybe thats why so many people find it "blah" to be republic side. you really get the feeling this government is held together with bailing wire and good intentions.

Akaavi seems like Jack from ME2 Risha has some very similar attributes to Miranda (tough exterior around a soft chewy center) i would love to have them blow up and fight over me like the Mass Effect girls did in the Assembly Room in the Normandy. but really Akaavi = Jack

blaster pistols and rifles would have no theoretical range, they being light/particle weapons. it would come down to accuracy, which you might have a leg to stand on there, but the argument was made about damage. i dont believe they would do significantly different damage, since they would have the same basic power source.

i also hear some diplomacy stuff can award you these points as well.

all variations of Malcolm Reynolds I could think of were taken. So, I settled for RickCastle. funny thing is the other day i saw a girl jedi running around called Stana. (Stana Katic plays Nathan Fillion's co-star in Castle). I loled when i saw her.
