  1. I don't get why they even make the distinction between pve and pvp servers in this game. I play on a pvp server and I rarely ever come across enemy players while questing. If you only pvp occasionally, you might as well play on a pvp because you are going to get the same experience as a pve server, plus faster wz queues.
  2. Really, why are non stealthers stealth detection so high in this game?!? If your sneak is on cooldown, be prepared to be uncovered and when that happens gg.
  3. If the Operative's role is to control midfield, then why don't they have knock back, so that they can utilize the acid pits on either side? The point is, why would a premade team want to enlist an op when they can have an assassin, that can do the same thing (minus the buff), and has knock back, which the Huttball map is clearly designed around. Why doesn't Bioware make it easy on themselves and give people the option of choosing the WZ that they queue for. That way the people that dislike it, don't have to play and those that love it, can continue to enjoy it. It's a WIN WIN!
  4. Lets face it, Huttball is a lame game to begin with. What were the developers thinking when they designed a map that clearly favors classes that have knockback and pull? The most critical moments in the game take place on the ramps. All a player with a half a brain has to do is either A) Knock you into the fire or B) knock you off the ramp. It is difficult to position yourself to avoid both of these scenarios. If an operative gets knocked off the ramp, there is no way to get back into the action and help your team. In other words, concealment Ops are useless in huttball when compared to other classes. I don't understand why BW would create a map with hazards and give some classes abilities that allow them to use the environment to their advantage and exclude other classes. This game is not very well balanced when Huttball is concerned and it makes me hate playing it. I think most balance issues stem from the Huttball map more than anything else.
  5. Me too! If I wasn't so obessed with TOR right now, I would try to get it to work on windows 7.
  6. Star Wars Rebellion by Lucas Arts. For those of you that are fans of strategy games and haven't played this gem, I highly recommend you check it out. Due to it's advanced age(it was released in the 90s) getting to run on newer operating systems may be a problematic.
  7. Admiral Piett. He was the only officer to not get choked out by Vader. He must have been a bad ***.
  8. Anakin is the chosen one. Luke's destiny was to bring his father (the chosen one) back into the light so that he could fulfill the prophecy of returning balance to the force by destroying the Emperor. With the death of Anakin and Palpatine(the two most powerful force users) balance was restored and they all lived happily ever after. I don't get why being a 2nd generation Skywalker would make him stronger. I argue that it would make Luke weaker due to Anakin's pure blood being deluded by mixing with Padme's muggle blood.
  9. I think all this Luke hype is way overblown. In his first confrontation with the the Emperor, his daddy had to intervene to save him from annialation. In the comics (which is the story I prefer) it takes Leia, Luke and her unborn children to subdue Palpatine. If his pops and big sister were not around to save his ***, he would have been destroyed by the Emperor and wouldnt even be in the discussion. I am surprised no one has brought up Leia in this thread. It is mentioned that she is more Powerful than Luke in the force. Her only disadvantage being that she is a few years behind in her training, but in the long run she will eventually surpass him in the ways of the force.
  10. How can anyone argue that Old Ben is not the greatest swordsmen that ever lived?!? He utterly destroyed Darth Maul when he was a mere Padawan, defeated quad-wielding General Grievous and houses the Chosen One in a head to head duel. Obi Wan may not be the strongest force wielder of all time, but he is hands down the most gifted swordsmen the Galaxy has ever seen!
  11. Ben Kenobi is the greatest swordsmen that ever lived!
