  1. As title states we are three players looking for an active guild. The two of us are long time players of swtor with largely pvp experience, raiding at a casual level, the other is a new swtor player and we would love to join an active guild so they can get the full emersion of what a cool game this is and what it has to offer. We are not freeloaders as we both have maxed out crafting toons, we're not looking for a carry, just a fun time playing :)

    Republic, Satele Shan. Healing/Tanking/DPS experience

    Thanks!

  2. If you find yourself on a team with bad pugs where your team is getting smashed just go "pew pew" and have fun with it or drop the match. Don't worry about winning because if your teammates don't care then neither should you. In the end if bads in Regs really bother you that much you can always queue for Group Ranked. Sure you might lose to a better team but at least you won't have bad pugs on your team to cry about. ;)

Like the arena I had against you last night where the tank refused to guard me after I kindly asked because "it's only a 5% damage reduction" then put me on ignore, LOL.

  3. Short version of the story is: You just have to accept them. This game is completely devoid of proper management and development. It will not change. There will always be hackers. Period.

    This.

Best you can do is put on friends list and queue dodge.

I fear with server merges it's just going to get worse. I've witnessed hacks 3 times since launch..that's in 6 years, two of them today on TEH. As people have mentioned before, wall hack in voidstar and a player on MY team, quesh ball, minute before the start, player/hacker was already down on the lowest floor near the ball spawn. So yeah, this is not "not knowing" the difference between predation and a speed hack, it's bald face hacking.

  4. Bioware is never going to introduce matchmaking in regs.

So I ask, where is healer responsibility?

3 healers on a team?....one needs to go guard by default.....90% of the time, no one does, so I take it on the chin and guard, there ya go, you're welcome.

After several matches a healer is noticing multiple DIFFERENT healers in each warzone......ffs go dps, how hard is that?

Your group has more than one healer? Don't be "that guy". One of you switch to dps.

As someone who mains a healer, I don't like warzones with more than 2 healers on a team either! So come on other healers, take some initiative to improve the quality of playing and help out, because bioware won't ever, do anything to rectify this.

Also...where are you playing that you see 3-4 healer premades?

  5. I transferred to Ebon Hawk about a month ago and Imp PvP on the server is absolutey horrendous. It's not even running up against premades on the pub side. Most people in the imp side are just incompetent. Here's what I've seen just today:

    Voidstar - Defending

I'm defending East and SEVEN people are defending West. Somehow West gets planted and blown up.

    Hypergate

One person defending pylon. We get a "pylon" call and then 2 seconds later, lose the pylon.

    Novare

We have 2 bunkers (guarding 4 and 4) and the Pubs have one. East calls incoming and 3 people from South all go running over to East. Sure enough, South then gets overrun and lost.

You literally just described every 3rd warzone on like....every server. -_-

  6. I can log into the other servers with no issues, including harb. I was 31 in queue then was stuck at 10 for.....well too long (20 minutes or so) server shows light, so I'm guessing issues or ddos. When attempted again I was 350 in queue, people in discord are saying one instance on fleet. so, back to RL I guess.
  7. The Ebon Hawk seems to have balanced factions, and depending on what guild(s) is/are running, certain sides will dominate for a couple hours or so.

As for the healers? That seems to be the default complaint wherever you go. I main a healer (but will always respec dps if there are a lot in queue, or...node guard) but it doesn't seem to be that bad or as chronic of an issue as some make it out. One match you may have 3 healers, next zero, the next, one, it fluctuates.

EDIT: I will never be in a premade with more than one healer (or two tanks) in general, that's kinda a no no.....and i think a lot of the pvp'ers who run premades feel the same, so if game decides to throw a premade with a healer, another 2 man premade with a healer, and a solo queuing healer into a warzone, it's not really the healers fault. Or wait..is it, because everything is the healers fault, right? :)

Both factions have some really strong pvp guilds, I've been in some great competitive matches that even if you lose it was definitely a GG, and the toxicity is the lowest I've seen compared to the other servers.

Upon returning to the game, I floated around; JC appears to be low population, but the pvp is active and I had some decent matches the week I was there, Shadowlands is dead, if I have to wait 30 minutes for a regular wz during late morning, I'm not doing it. Harbinger had the biggest amount of healers, on average 3-4 per wz. If I'm queuing alone, I heal, so that was a drag.

Tl;dr If people are looking for balanced factions, great republic pvp, and well...the best pvp on the EAST coast, The Ebon Hawk is where you want to be.

    and, Alba says Cheers!

  8. Just use east or west, if people dont know their directions...well...then there is a bigger problem at hand xD

    This.

How hard it it to realize direction NEVER changes, right and left, does. Literally take 20 seconds at the start of a voidstar in an offensive position (as that's where it is based and think..."west, east...okay" then defensive "west, east..okay" and never look back, easy as pie.

  9. I'm actually quite anxious for the season to start. All of the ranked players queuing unranked in groups, ignoring objectives, and just practicing farming numbers is killing the game. I can't really blame them, though...that's what ranked is: number farming, kill the enemy.

But yeah, solo ranked is pretty toxic. If I like the rewards, I will tolerate it for the bare minimum number of games required to get what I want, then I'm done. Last season I wanted the weapons, so I hit 1350 and called it good. I like arenas, just can't stand the other players for the most part.

Wut? You mean all 20 of them who queue?

  10. They can't even merge the dead servers they have, you think they're going to give us cross servers? As I said in another thread; Nothing is better than cross server and that is what we got, nothing.

Just enjoy swtor for what it is, the crappy ex boyfriend/girlfriend that you just....can't.....seem....to...let....go of.

  11. Just got off the phone with them. Actually what the problem is/was I was not granted early access, even though I've been a subscriber all along. It just so happens the console that was lit up on my repub toons as story lines that have to be completed apparently, since I play my imp toons more, the console node was not lit. So yeah, I'm a subscriber that did not get early access -_- Additionally they have no eta on when I will receive it.

    lowbie pvp anyone?
