  1. Lmao that topic body. I've only started reading the High Republic's Light of the Jedi, but I could see her being Avar Kriss, who within the first 4 chapters already seems more powerful than Vader.
  2. I've been using this set for a while and although it SEEMS cool as a shield tank, it's almost like having a pet fly that attacks enemies. Is there some hidden tactic with this armor set that I'm missing? I think Bioware should either have it trigger more often...like no cooldown (although that sound effect would probably get annoying) or at least increase the damage output to match your basic attack (preferred).
  3. I think it would actually put the family tree under the legacy window to good use as well. Honestly I would just be happy to be able to acquire them the same way we acquire cartel companions, and I think it would only make sense to be able to acquire them post alliance base, but the possibilities in terms of story content would be pretty amazing. For example, if I brought my trooper into my guardian's story I see a lot of three way conversations happening between lost companions, the player character and my trooper. I doubt Bioware has the resources to push it that far, but it would still be cool enough to just have them fight with me.
  4. I've always loved the idea of strongholds but I've never liked decorating them. Would it be possible to sell pre-decorated tokens that would essentially give players a starting point for rooms. From there obviously you can do what you want with them, but I've never liked walking into a huge empty space, it always feels so overwhelming to me, and there are so many hooks and panel options, I don't even know what and where things are. So it would just be super convenient to be able to buy, like a token or something, that decorates the rooms for you.
  5. They should make repeatable date quests for all of your romanced companions. I think that would scratch the itch for more interaction with your loved one.
  6. I'm a tank class and literally stay in queue for vet uprisings for usually 2+ hours now before it pops, if it even does. The problem is finding healers. Let me just say, I think Uprisings are great content. They're action packed, there's no skipping 90% of the enemies to get to the boss (flashpoints) and there's no dialogue that people just want you to smash spacebar through. That being said, convincing people this is content worth playing is the true struggle. Can I suggest to Bioware to maybe add a support droid to the vet mode and make the queue "class neutral" like vet flashpoints?
  7. What's the deal with the new companion? Will they have a story attached to them with influence dialogue like Treek and HK? Or another generic companion with cookie cutter skills?

This move is terrible in comparison to the Guardian's "Guardian Leap", I'd be so bold as to say it's just worthless as is and the fact that it's a combat proficiency skill just makes it all the more insulting to the Vanguard tank. A Combat Utility that reduces it's cool down, gets rid of activation time and adds some kind of damage buff to the player would put it on par with Guardian Leap. Personally I would replace Guard Cannon with a new Utility that benefits Transpose, as Guard Cannon is damn near useless as well.
  9. Don't know if this is SUPER relevant, but it may also be noted that M1-4X's basic attack animation has been bugged for I don't know how long and doesn't show him shooting.

Please make an armor set available for purchase like the Hazardous Recon armor (which I don't think is even obtainable anymore) but with the glowy parts of the Republic Containment Officer Armor/ Section Guardian armor. https://swtorista.com/armor/hazardous-recon https://swtorista.com/armor/republic-containment-officer More specifically I'm looking for an armor set for troopers with that skin but specifically with the Havoc symbol and or the Republic symbol on it. On a side note, it would be amazing if a lot of the old year one armor's like this were updated to have more modern bump mapping techniques applied to them or if they could get real tubes coming out of the chest instead of just looking spray painted on there.

  12. What do you guys think of a new story arc somewhere down the road that brings the jedi enclave back on Dantooine? I haven't put much thought into it personally but i would love to just see this planet again. It's still my all time favorite planet from KOTOR. The sun setting visuals, the music... I love it.
  13. Does anyone know of a site, or if there is one, that shows the current Dark vs Light status of a server? I like to take full advantage of the xp bonus from light side while using a cxp bonus token, but I don't want to waste my time with the token if the light side bonus isn't active.

  15. Playing through Makeb again after a year and half + and I remember there being a bonus series after the main story. You talk to Jace Malcom and he gives you a set of quests or whatever. I couldn't remember exactly how to start it, so i searched it and there's supposed to be a droid on the station you talk to. The droid is nowhere to be found now. Did they completely cut this content? There's a terminal with the weekly on it, but I mean ***? Why would they cut out the story content that leads into this? It explains WHY you're still able to traverse the planet! Someone please tell me it's just in another place.
  16. Bumping this. I've been playing through a new character and am around the part of the story line this area should be starting. Was wondering if the NPC is still gone. I know they got rid of the Aldaraan bonus series pointer quest for some reason, and instead you just have to stumble upon the npc on Aldaraan. Would be nice to get a response from BW.
  17. Is anyone else getting sick of Bioware rehashing the same sound effects for every new set of weapons that come out on the Cartel Market? There's so many good sounding Blaster Rifle sound effects that launched with the game that never get used. What's the deal? There should be a mechanic that allows us to choose the sound effect of the weapons we use, be it the sheathing/unsheathing sound of a lightsaber or the sound a blaster makes.
  18. I'd rather just see them give the same cxp as KOTFE and KOTET chapters, instead of 20xp for everything, this would definitely help with leveling alts. I mean you can hit 70 by like 3rd or 4th planet if you do all the quests.
  19. Sorry that was a typo, I meant to say Story not Solo. But still it stands as an issue of confusion, and is not consistent with what Galactic Command considers Veteran and Story.
  20. Literally just got back in and right off the bat...the Veteran Flashpoints are marked as SOLO and the Hard mode flashpoints are marked as Veteran. Bring em back down Bioware.
  21. I'm pretty sure Flak shell hits all enemies within 10m of it's impact...I don't think it's that unreasonable, but that's just me. In regards to Aim Extensions... Battle focus lasts what, 15 seconds with a 2m cooldown? Again, speaking from a tank's perspective, the only time you ever need range as Vanguard Tank is right before the fight. I don't know WHO is going to want to pop Battle focus BEFORE a fight, it makes no sense. Aim Extensions as a perk should just increase the range of the Vanguard to 30m... period. People would then actually use it.
  22. Would anyone else agree that shoulder cannon would be way more useful if it hit multiple targets? As a vanguard Tank, I get it's functionality, it's supposed to generate threat and do some damage. But I feel like there's still some opportunity there for it to be a more useful skill. Like 90% of the time I don't have any need to use it. What if they changed the Combat Proficiency "Guard Cannon" to not only do the small healing bonus but also allow your missile's to hit all enemies within a 10m radius of your target? I feel like this would help with threat generation across the board AND also be a bit more viable in terms of damage. If not "Guard Cannon" then maybe just get rid of "Aim Extensions" (because who the **** uses this, right?) and make a new perk that allows shoulder cannon to hit multiple enemies. Thanks Bioware.
