  1. If they give you more information than you already need to know, all it leads to is more flaming towards BioWare and EA. I think its best they keep it to themselves, or let us know what they think we should know, it is their game after all. I stopped playing for a while due to the fact that Flashpoints and Operations crash every few hours. I am not going to be mad, or wish they would give me insight as to why that happens. I understand its a new game and it will have its bugs, that will take time to address. My solution to that, is to have something to do away from the keyboard, if it can be out of the house, even better.
  2. Sounds right. I got an Eternity Vault tonight, it was my first Operation, and when we get to the turrets, everyone crashed. I had to manually reset my PC. LOL, first ever operation i get in to, and it crashes.
  3. I wouldn't mind an LFG now. At first i was against it. At this point, i kind of wish there was, as i rolled on a east coast server, and once i log in, my guild starts to log out. that or if server xfers were available. Geez i want off that forsaken rock i rolled my BH on. It is my fault though. As i followed my original guild from a different game. They went off and rolled Republic, i stayed back. I know it will ruin the community and what not, but at this point, its best to try an LFG system, as the one that is in game now, very few people use it.
  4. @ OP I hear you man. I since lost that feeling of accomplishment in WoW a long time ago. I think it was a bit after mid BC, when all key processing was removed for players. Don't get me wrong, more people get to see end game. After all they are paying customers as well. Thank Blizzard for that mind set. Though it caters to casuals, it also caters to the wallet. That is why hard modes were in place. Once that happened the casuals started whining they couldn't do hard modes, cause they are to hard. Yes i understand everyone pays 15 dollars a month, and usually the money wins over the majority. So really, now you know its best to take your time with a game because, you know there is no reason to go straight to end game. In WoW, its the same thing, start a toon, and either queue for dungeon finder, or quest, and you quest alone as well, if not, you got a friend that will roll a toon with you. I thank the casuals from the past and the future. They made it so simplejack to get to end game, that you don't have to farm gear, you can queue up and get in to PvP with greens and wrong mods/enchants, go to the forums, complain that you got 1 shot by 2 people, and despite the person not being geared enough for the content, they will get it simple jacked to their specific needs.
  5. Lol, my friend gave me 50+ bucks to resub and xfer to their server. I went and got some milk and cookies with some sourdough bread.
  6. I would love to share some of these Oreo's i have. OJ, or milk? Got some other drinks in the fridge too. Maybe some capri-sun?
  7. I will. I want to be here to witness all the new things implemented in to the game. I am having fun.
  8. Speculate more. If you pay by the minute, it comes out to very little cents on the dollar. Do you actually sit there and are on a full 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. My guess is your post really just claims the old "stop the server downtimes, or else". You should read EULA like some suggested, and try and brush up on not getting so rage over things that try and help little bugs in game, that you may not tell right away, but are getting worked on. I mean, it just barely released. Most peak hours, the servers are always on line for me.
  9. You aren't helping your cause at all. Instead of being normal, you have to name call, and speculate about a family you don't even know of. Its OK, Mr. Sheltered Life. Someone should be around to accommodate you and your nonsensical rambling. If you had posted something intelligible, people would try and help you, but you start rambling off with masked words, like i said, it won't help you. Go ahead and be childish though, i am sure it has gotten you everything you wanted in life.
  10. With such hostility, how do you expected to be talked to properly. If you want a respectful, constructive answer, start with a post that is constructive and respectful. Calling names and masking words won't help your issue.
  11. Hint hint: Your Original Post is a repeat of what everyone else said. Who does that?
  12. No. It is because of a game before this, which makes it easy to steam roll through content. Since people think this is a clone/MMOkiller, they are under the false impression that it plays the same way. It doesn't almost all games require some form of order via pulling mobs in instances. Usually want to have the group focus one down, and the next while using CC. You tell people to CC, they do so, at times won't cause they don't know what CC means. Then they AoE, or tank a mob for the tank. I have seen a few Bounty Hunters rip aggro from the tank and use their little threat flare, drop aggro, and go back to DPS'ing. There are some really good players that minimize the time in FPs. Then you got not so good, to very bad players, that die on every pull, ruin CC, don't understand what "stack on the healer", "run when you get a dubuff or targeted, then come back and stack". It really is all simple stuff, that the first get go you get it. These types though, make a run that could last 45mins to an hr, last about a good 2 hours. Some people one shot a boss, while others don't. It isn't just DPS. It is people that choose tanking as well. They think that since they slapped a mob the first time, its all good. They don't realize they have to be cycling threat on all targets so when they move to the next, or AoE damage goes off, it doesn't pull threat from them. It's beyond that.
  13. If you remove the elites, champs, its like removing all group quests, then you got the same old argument of it being a single player game. Really, people are just confused these days. Who does that?
  14. Define forever. The game is about a month or so old. If you can make such a huge difference, why not go apply for a job. You seem to know what the problems are, and probably are faster at reaching solutions.
  15. I was going to resub to wow, but then realized i would have to look for a guild, if the guild isn't on the server i am on, cough up 25 bucks to get to a guild that is raiding. On top of that, i remembered AFK'ing in org on off nights from raids, which isn't to entertaining. I rather just pay up for SWTOR when my sub cycles, and take my time with the game.
  16. You really need to process your thoughts before expressing them on these boards. You wonder why people give you negative responses. How many MMOs were released this year? How many MMOs can you name off the top of your sheltered life of a head, that have had a clean launch? You probably can't because you are just a bandwagon type of person, who had high expectations of the game. The people that enjoy and are enjoying the game are either too busy to respond or read the topics here, or are responding to you. People do read the forums. They can't respond to every single thread, because then that would cause a separate up rise from people like you. If you have solutions as to make the game better, why not get up off your chair, and apply for a job. Oh wait, you live a sheltered life, never mind.
  17. It is just some sheltered life type person, that has nothing to do, other than spend 10+ hours on the internet. Bouncing from youtube, to twitter, then to facebook, and back to SWTOR. He is annoyed by the in game bugs, minor things that make the game tick, yet he has to be nit picky in a non constructive manner. He/she can't think out of the dwelling they have resorted to living out of. I hope they at least get some exercise, it'll help him her in the long run, especially after the age of 40.
  18. Would you rather play a game that has a fair share of bugs? In a few months, maybe less, all the downtime will come to a halt. There are games that in the past, had to do shut downs on servers. Even on non maintenance day. It is part of the computer related problems that need to get addressed. You got people complaining the game is buggy, they shut down on non peak hours to fix the minor bugs. They shut them down, and people complain about it happening. Just give it some time. Not everyone operates on the same schedule as you, and they bring them down for certain reasons at those times. ALthough, it is annoying for people, its minor things you have to deal with. Peak hours vary from coast to coast, but they heaviest load times are during the evenings/afternoons. Especially after 12PM, and as far as maybe 10-12 midnight. You just need a bit of patience, I know you pay for the game, and its your money and you are entitled to punch, kick, and scream at any moment you get a few hours of downtime. Do you behave like this when a freeway offramp gets shut down, or maybe cal-trans has to shut a shoulder down due to repairs, slurry sealing, or putting up new signs? The local government knows what hours are best to shut down the highways and streets, don't you think BioWare knows what times are best for them? If you have better ideas, you should try and apply for a job with them. Make some changes for the people.
  19. On a side note, if by now, the responses are annoying and what not, you can space bar through them.
  20. It isn't actually. One day i noticed i had about 500 some points to go for rank 4 dark. I wanted the relics for my then lvl 44 BH. Someone on the forums brought this up, and as redundant and sad as it is, i ran Black Talon aboot 4-5 times. Needless to say i did all the dark choices and brought me to where i wanted to be. Though it sucks that it won't stay at one point, and stay there. You make light choices, and it comes back up, when in reality, if you were in the actual universe, your heart would probably be so cold you would make the darkest choices, regardless of the outcome. TLDR run low level FP if on imp, you can do BT and thats 200 a pop.
