  1. After browsing through the logs of various madness sins on different encounters on dpsmeter I've come to the conclusion that giving up creeping terror really isn't an option. Kind of nullifies a lot of the specs up there ._.
  2. My post didn't assume you were finished, it did assume that the points you HAD put in were deliberate, hence my query. edit: Also, no parasitism? o_O
  3. Sort of confused, isn't a shock-less spec more dps once you hit a certain gear level? Furthermore given how talent-strained madness is what is the purpose of 3 points in duplicity over 1?
  4. I'm pretty bored with 31/0/10 (It REALLY is a boring spec to play, even if it is strong) and was looking towards playing madness again. While the playstyle of Madness is really fun and it pulls out numbers (640k as spec3 in a huttball yesterday that lasted ~13 mins) second only to similarly geared/skilled pyro PTs, it has the survivability of a wet carrot. So I was considering several variations other than the typical (spec 4) that provide more survivability/utility while still maintaining really high damage. Spec 1 VS Spec 2 VS Spec 3 VS Spec 4(typical) I'm looking for input from people who have frequented madness in pvp(50+, not interested in lowbie opinion), and also any logs(either from pve or pvp) that can demonstrate the dps contribution of every ability in the madness rotation. I mean really, who isn't sick of tankassassin by now?
  5. Am I missing something here? Aren't we all 31/0/10 where (and really this is for every spec except deception) accuracy is almost entirely useless?
  6. I noticed that after 1.2 marauders and juggs are now able to wear most masks while still sporting their hoods. Unfortunately this isn't true for any of the light armor mask models. Please give light armor wearers the same functionality. Thanks

  11. Cybertech is currently the best CS in pvp. It does not need any form of buff.
  12. It's not even currently worth it. The stats you get from exotech stims are greater than what you get out of biochem's rakata stims. The only benefit that biochem offers is the re-usability of the stims, but even this is irrelevant because of how easy it is to obtain credits in this game. My suggestions? Cybertech.
  13. Take a look at the community's opinion about each class. Take a look at the various class changes implemented and to come(1.2). Conclusion? Bioware doesn't give a **** about the community's opinion of balance, and rightly so.
  14. No one is carnage. Even so, a shield generator/dark ward are pretty inferior to running w/ a focus.

  16. Pretty much half the player base are sorcerers. Did you guys really not expect some form of nerf?
  17. Shadows get ****'ed on animation delay nine ways to sunday. We get a slightly more noticeable stealth animation (which is irrelevant because people see the nameplate, NOT the sin first). Let them have a yellow stealth animation
  18. Anyways, I'm leveling a marauder who is currently level 22 and was curious as to what spec would be optimal. I've heard rage offers excellent aoe, anni bleed heals help reduce downtime and carnage is lacking. Any thoughts?
  19. The actual knockdown animation from spike lasts .5s longer than the one from spinning kick. This is one among a myriad of animation-related complaints that shadows have. No, you don't want spinning kick.

  21. There's nothing wrong with leveling as deception. I leveled as deception at launch all the way from 1 - 50 with no conflicts whatsoever. I didn't touch talos though, I used khemmy val val. methinks the problem lies between the computer and the chair. btw, if you're looking for a stealthy, ninja-like character (ya know, an "assassin" lewls) you've chosen the wrong class. Yes the name of the class is assassin, but every significant action takes place outside of stealth. I would be quick to liken it to a sort of melee wizard(like an enh shaman in wow) more than anything. Also, there's nothing deceptive in deception. The names given to the class and it's abilities aren't appropriate it seems

Analysis: Force Crush Cloak of Pain Obfuscate(unique) Force Camouflage Undying Rage Smash Saber Ward Force Charge Force Choke Vicious Throw Deadly Throw That's 10 abilities that the console classifies as force abilities. We are not lacking in force abilities. I read the OP as someone who really thinks force push is neat(it is) and wishes he played a jugg. There is no reason that marauders need/should get force push.
