For someone who has played the original class stories, is there really a benefit to carrying that character into the expansion? The vibe I'm getting from the previews is that they're stretching a bit (storywise) to explain why your character is still relevant in the new state of the galaxy. Would it make more story sense to play the expansion with a fresh 60, especially since I'm not IN LOVE with any of my toons (rushing 12xp story missions does that, I guess).

Storywise, is it worth using an existing character, or is a fresh lvl 60 just as good? From the promos, it seems like they're stretching to keep your existing characters relevant in the new state of the galaxy. Wondering if it just makes more story sense to start a new character. (And would save me playing through on multiple alts.)
