  1. Well... I was literally about to xfer to EH because people give SL such a bad rap personality wise. I think Im going to suck it up and pay to move to SL and hope it all works out. Not a problem now as its just 90 cc but when I have 3 toons - multiplication lol. Keep the thoughts flowing! Enjoying that this has come to life lol
  2. I'm really liking the idea of EH vs SL at this point. Would be great to be the start of the Imp. Pvp uprising. And being RP I imagine there's sister guilds on the other sides?

    Where to PVP?

Since I haven't done them all I plan to story to 65. Have a current Imp assassin at 65 I will pay to transfer. My need is rushed as I want to start 2 new toons and can't do it until I find a new home. One will be pub.

    Where to PVP?

So it sounds like Ebon Hawk is a good choice. Imp side having room for improvement but Pub side is thriving. It's between then or Shadowlands it seems... As for the EU servers. Living on the East coast I'd imagine the latency would be 80ms +like it is on the harb. I just can't take the lag anymore
  5. 116 people have 0 opinion on the matter? I'll take anything at this point. Just want to hear some opinions.

    Where to PVP?

Really want some info here on east. It's always evenly split between EH, JC and SL. People on EH general said Pub groups run pvp in the late evening and that the imps need help. That is appealing but there's only 1 supposed known guild. Now the other servers weren't communicative in general so I can't get much info there. I need to move servers and I want to do it today. Please what place has a great pvp community I don't care if they're all pros. I care about fun.
  7. It's always split. Very curious to see if there is a true victor. I have to move from the harbinger...
  8. I like the sound of a more balanced side. It seems SL and JC are constantly compared as imp being heavily weighted. My current toon is Imp but I plan on rolling a Pub too.
  9. So with a new found passion in PvP it has occurred to me I will likely need to choose a server on my side of the country. When I first started I chose The Harbinger because of the fact it seems people flock to that server (or there are more West Coasters than East Coasters) and larger population seemed like a good choice when there is no cross server queuing. So it's time I come back to the East Side after realizing my latency is 84ms at the lowest on The Harbinger and a quick new character shows me my latency is 42ms or less on say The Shadowlands. I am new to the game and haven't made close friends by any stretch so it won't be too hard to switch, I just don't know which of the two equally populated servers on the East I should chose. I know posting here may yield biased results but my main goal is PvP. PvE is grand but I do not have the free time I used to so it can be hard to carve out a 3 hour block and when I do it's certainly not something I can plan a week ahead. So let's hear it, how are the queue times? Does JC pop more than Shadowlands, vice versa etc.
  10. So from the posts on the forums of Ebon Hawk, JC and here the PvP community seems to be as active across all three but I have heard EH and JC coordinate world / arena PvP etc. So I'm on Harb now. I do enjoy it but getting serious with PvP I can't have 84+ms... i didn't care nor notice playing story but I'm feeling this may be an issue come ranked season. Anyone have experience across them? I guess noting pub vs imp differences would be good but not needed. My PvPer is imp and if I roll pub it's likely for the story.

  13. With the lack of liquidity for such items you can see drastic (hopefully temporary) price drops because people want quick sales and well... capitalism. If the changes I've witnessed thus far are permanent it's going to get to where the price doesn't reflect the time. Either way I think it's dumb to pull things away from artifice with all the new items from raids. I don't think they realized the damage done. It makes crafting useless. A good crafting system would have some of the best items (hard to get) but crafted. Like Augmentation for the 3 different crew skills - there is no other way to achieve this! You can't raid for them so personally those 3 crew skills are the only ones that even make sense aside from biotech. There aren't enough one time use items from artifice making everything more of a luxury than a need. Needless to say I will be making better choices on the next toons.
  14. Man I regret ever reading a post when I started a few months ago that Artifice was a great way to make cash end game. With all the truly expensive crystals coming from the Cartel Market it's laugable. Then when you finally learn one worth anything it requires slicing (or some other crew skill not part of the "normal" set - Treasure Hunting and Arch.) and the market is over saturated because you only need to buy one crystal... Not to mention you can't even make enhancements anymore and raiding is always going to yield anything better than you can craft. What is up with this? It's like it's useless when you're leveling and even more useless at the end. Am I missing something? /rant
  15. Yeah I really want to get into the Revan expansion and all the others too. Problem is you can't go back once you become The Outlander - this in and of itself leads me to believe the stories aren't linked. I'd love to save the 60 token to make a healer but I know a sorcerer will be just as fun as the assassin is and can always use my level 32 assassin to take my time through the other expansions. I just don't want to start KoTFE and then go back to the others and basically do what the Star Wars movies did 4-5-6 then oops 1-2-3. Hmm putting it that way just makes it seem fitting lol. In regards to the power within, great point but from KoTR I know the power within . I'll keep you guys posted if I can still get quick levels I'll do it but I don't have time for these games like I did in WoW where I could go home and grind for 6 hrs to get from 58-59 (vanilla days)
