    This game has been out far too long for these kinds of things to be happening. If a quest is reset then dont you think the green markers for where to go next should return after the reset? Well they dont now I am entirely lost on what to do next. Because of the Sith Inquisitor class quest. Kalligs Scorching Lightsaber (Inheritane Quest) The lightsaber is not rewarded after having the girl open the case. I later found out that The lightsaber is rewarded after communicating aboard my ships hollo communicator. The lightsaber should have been rewarded when the girl opens the case at that time. Not cool.
  2. My friend and I are going to leave because of the following reasons: 1. Non-responsive UI ( the UI is absolutely horrid ) cannot be customized. 2. Buffs and debuff's ( indicators ) for player and party frames need work. 3. Need macro's 4. Armor and weapon animation is lacking. ( seems like there is only so much they can do in this department to boot ) 5. No LFG system. 6. The Galactic Trade System is...Horrid. ( no global search function ) planet based economy is fail. I cant see why people would use it and when I try to find an item on a kiosk I realized why. 7. Little things like not having an option to cancel the tooltip if I want so I dont have to see that annoying popup. 8. *** is ability action que? and why is that even an option? 9. Flying mounts badly needed. ( give players some more incentive's ) 10. When I got my own ship, my excitement quickly was gone. ( no mailbox on my ship, no vendor on my ship, I have to fly back to an annoying airlock to do anything but put my companions on jobs. Having your own ship should feel and be more exciting. 11. Which leads me to my next dissapointment - the space...I dont even know where to start. Its like a cheap arcade game. ( need group missions, need free roaming ability, etc - fail. 12. The mechanics of the bosses are sub-par at best. trash pulls require no thought to boot. 13. Where is the (mass) in a massive multiplayer online game when there is 30 people at the imperial fleet? 14. When I hit a hot key its clunky and slow to react and sometimes dosnt react at all. ( interupting is unreliable. ) 0.0 ability que - but what is ABILITY QUE TIME? really? why wouldnt you want this at its most lowest value anyway? 15. I pick up a blue item, then when I get the item it turns orange? This is confusing because I have trouble understanding which color item is what? I understand that a gray item is a (poor ) item and cannot be used, ( green ) is a basic item, but then after green you got blue, orange, purple. Seems like this system could be a little more defined in that I mean what is more desirable. 16. Bad taste in my mouth because of the hero engine and all the research I have done on that suggest's a lazy, money saver approach. 17. The game needs more idle passtimes and things to do. Ever find yourself wondering what to do when you are burnt out of dungeons, taking a break from questing, and your companions are out? 18. Companions doing everything for you is a lazy approach and takes away from the feeling of accomplishment. Anyone can punch one button to farm for materials. Companion system is original but personally I dont like it for the above reasons. 19. Nice to have a bidding system on the Galactic Trade Market. 20. Would be nice to have a tool to find upgrades on gear in game. These are my top 20 and there are more issues. Some friends and myself are going to leave for now and possibly come back later. We will come back if we hear of some improvement. Americans dont have time to wait around and hope things get better. We want something that works right the first time. Goodluck with fixing the above mentioned.

  4. Hey, your article here is great! I agree with alot of what you had to say and also how you said it. I think the issue here is - in other words - is that I expect ALOT from any new MMORPG. Think of it like an old western movie when someone walks into a saloon and everyone stops and sizes up the newcomer. It's because they want to see what he is about. Well that was not a good example but you get my point. They have the difficult task of raising the bar and right now the bar is pretty high ,expectations are high and people EXPECT the game developers to think of EVERYTHING -and the customers have the right to because its simple - if they dont then the customer will go somewhere else. Problem here is that there isnt anywhere else to go in the MMO community. Lets face it. People are looking for something fresh, something that contains all of what they expect and are used to and more! An MMO that goes beyond! People need incentive. It is why we play!
  5. I have to agree. The Auction House needs some tweaking. I also feel that when holding control and clicking to view how an item looks on your character should have a tooltip hover to indicate when you are in viewing mode. Dont know how much credits I have forfieted because I wanted to see how an item looked but instead I accidently purchased it. When I then proceed to sell it back I got 10% back...kinda sucks.
  6. I read over this thread because of the amount of attention it got. From what I see the general consensus is that people are lovin this MMO. It may not be perfect but it just came out. Give it about 6 months and this MMO is going to be really rockin. Bioware is very ambitious and I dont want to see there ambitions fail. As a fan I support them and I personally really enjoy this game.
  7. I was going to create a thread similar to this one. Wanted to say that I played other MMO's and loved them - Namely one MMO in particular -which I am sure we all know- but I am just so thrilled that there is now some competition. SWTOR - in my opionion is not only competeting -but dominating! Just know that we - the fans - are wishing you the best and I think I speak for all when I say - its about time we got a decent MMO!
