This Game has the most clunky PVP in any MMO i have ever played. No Mouseover macros for healing? Makes healing a chore. CC is total garbage,no DR is trash. i play games to PVP sorry. I do enjoy the story but i have never watched a star wars movie in my life so i really dont know the lore. I will admit tho its top knotch best voice overs i ever seen but its mostly FLUFF. i skip over the stuff i seen before in flash points and such. I do not know how people dont understand PVP is a HUGH part of MMO"s. i log into rift and its seemless,granted some classes are OP ( my rank 8 mage for instance with relics) but when i cast a DOT it hits instantly. No server lag,nothing. This game its just so slow.

The devs running the PVP department have no IDEA what they are doing. these people are not good at anything. they are gonna ban players for there SCREW UP? ****z if i was in a group farming noobs dropping off a ledge i sure as hell would be trying to get in on the action. you cant blame players for finding ways around your crummy system. SWTOR HAS THE WORST PVP OF ANY MAJOR MMO TO DATE.

I would like to state i have been playing a mage class since EQ days ( necro ) and have played every MMO Hardcore since EQ. I dabbled in UO ,DOAC but couldn't get into them as much as i would of liked. the past 6 years were basically WOW ( everyone played it love it or hate it...its the benchmark) AOC ( terribad after level 19 but did have some cool aspects) WARHAMMER ( decent pvp to a extent and RVR was fun,sacking keeps and such and BEING REWARDED for healing.) from there it was AION ( pretty garbage TBH but im not into asain MMOS,still gave it a shot tho hit max level on my sorc and quit) Then to Rift. Coming from rift as a rank 8 fully geared mage the pvp in RIFT is LIGHT YEARS ahead of this star wars game. i would like to note i never watch nerd-wars so im not into lore but do admit the story and voice acting is TOP NOTCH. but thats is about it. The pvp is so bad i dont even know were to start. so ill make a attempt. 1: BRACKETS 10-19 = 20=29 =30=39=40=49 and 50s at 50 MATCH BY GEAR like RIFT DID. i do not want to hear about Q times because it works fine in RIFT,WoW it should work here. 2: ability LAG. casting a spell just to see it hit 2-3 seconds after its supposed to cast? Im running verzion FIOS t1 connection and HAVE NEVER had a problem before in ANY GAME like this. 3: BIG 1 MACROS. really bio-ware no macro support? no mouse-over for healing? Makes healing a chore. sure you can say " you need to pay attention but its not that, i have my teammate clicked and cast my big heal and it don't hit him? or when it does hes already dead? sure your gonna say L2P but i have a major problem when im the top HEALER and 3rd DPS on my team and never get as many medals as some guy sitting back nuking. theres no point to heal as a sorc other than cast a shield on someone. Death animations: really whne i kill someone they should fall to the ground dead not have me wast another GCD on a already dead foe. what a joke. AFK: there is no way to boot AFKers from warfronts . losing 2 players is just about a loss everytime you slice it. STUNLOCK/no DRS: this 1 is WAY over the top i will be locked down from full HP to 0 in seconds from 2 guys keeping me loked down or knocked down. it makes no sence that when im knocked down i must spend 2 seconds getting the hell up. this is a game not RL. I feel the PVP in this game is hands down the worst of any MMO i have played in the past 10 years other than AION"s BS flying around and 1 shotting people with a meator. o wait Opps and scoundrels could do that untill last few days soooo. o well my sub has been cancelled. say what you like but for a game in development for 6 years with UNLIMITED resources and a TON of lore 1 would think PVP would play a major factor in the game. belive it or not PVP players determine 85% of the nerfs your toons revive.

WAHHHHHHH. the pvp in this game is a UTTER joke. abiltie lag makes it unplayable. No macros or mouse overs makes healing a chore. i do not understand how people enjoy it.

Ok first off i would like to state i have played EVERY MAJOR MMO since the release of Everquest, with the exception of LOTR. I play MMOs for competive PVP and to do some raiding on the side. Comming from RIFT to SW:TOR and doing pvp feels so utterly chaotic. I never watched a starwars movie and i know nothing of the Lore. I came here with a OPEN mind looking for a new game to play to pass the time. The PVP in this game is a JOKE. Its like the devs added it last min or something. I understand bolstering the stats of lower level players and thats cool and all if there are brackets of some sort. I was playing earlier and this team had 4 level 50 guys valor ranks were 20+ and im just a level 12 sorc getting FACEROLLED. I do not wish to hear L2P your class or "you suck" because i achieved warlord status in vanilla WoW, Gladiator in s1-2 before quitting and i am on the the most respected mages on my realm in rift when it comes to PVP. The problem with having a person that is level 40-50 fighting level 10s is there skill tree is JACKED up with massive bonuses to stats and spells, Awesome GEAR and a better skill set than new players. My other gripe is the CC and knockbacks in this game. There needs to be DR"s of some sort. ( if there is some and i do not relise it i applogise, but the way i am seeing it is i get chain locked down and decimated in seconds) i know alot of you will say " play with a team or make some friends ext ext but the fact is not everyone wants to play a premade. people want to hop into a warfront and play with people there level,gear and skill set. not level 50s who can 3v1 people easily. It takes the fun out of pvp. Devs Please add some brackets so PVP minded players can have some fun in game. You will lose ALOT of subs if you cant balance PVP. /rant " equipts flame shield"
