  1. Yeah we are queuing again. We basically took just under a month off starting right before christmas. Now we're back though, queued a few nights last week and will be queuing again regularly now.

  5. In all honesty the only way this could have been avoided is by introducing a new tier of crafting materials with dread guard and elite war hero. For those that didn't know, you could always get these mats from REing war hero gear, it just took significantly longer because they required rated warzone comms before. Smart PvPers were still getting stabs pre 1.6 by REing the mods and whatnot that didn't fit in with how they itemized their gear. If they had introduced a new tier of crafting mats their would have been no change in the market as the highest tear gear would still require mats that came from operations that dropped the highest tear gear, or from REing elite war hero gear which takes just as long to grind as the old war hero gear.

  8. Camping sounds so negative. I think it's better to use holding the ledge, like it's a strategy to get the ball to the endzone faster.
  9. I really like this suggestion. Make it a cone instead of an AoE, but maybe extend the range just a little bit (think like the change to the consular knockback, but not nearly as long of a range for sweep.) This would significantly increase the skill cap on the spec, and would also give good players a way to counter smash.

  11. The sentinel and guardian shared tree (focus) is highly desirable for rated warzones. Can't go wrong with either. Sentinels have better defensive CDs so will likely live a bit longer; on the other hand guardians can play focus in the tank stance and do 80% of the sentinel in focus stance damage, but guard a healer at the same time. We run both on the RWZ team I'm a part of.

  13. /signed What's weird is when I first installed yesterday's patch my latency was much better for a few hours. Then it consistently got worse as the day went on; to the point where we canceled our rateds because of consistent DCs between 8-9.
  14. Deadweight is definitely interested. Saturday or Sunday would work fine for most people and it seemed like everyone I mentioned this too thought it would be fun.

  16. Actually I play as a healer, and it was immensely helpful even pre 1.4. I took it over the AoE heal because it was so powerful. It wasn't as good as it is now, but it was still the best way to stop burst against the person I'm healing. Just the mezz is enough to stop the DPS rotation and provides enough time to channel another tick of HT or get off a benevolence. I'm only saying the talent should be lowered in the tree if it is changed to only affect the caster. It's a high tear talent right now, and it affects everybody. If it no longer affects everybody it's value is significantly diminished and should be a much lower tear talent.
  17. If this were the case it should be significantly lower in the tree so that all specs can pick it up for some survivability and still be able to play 31 seer or 31 madness. Otherwise, if it stays that high up in the tree it needs to be able to pop on everyone, just make it a mezz again so that it isn't 3 free seconds of DPS, but 3 seconds as an escape mechanism as it was intended.

  21. It's pretty hit or miss. Some night there's only 1-2 pops all night. Other nights, like tonight, there's pops for like 4 hours nonstop. What I've noticed is that during the week we start queuing around 7, but games don't start popping regularly till around 8-9, which sucks because there's several of us east coasters in deadweight that usually have to log by around 10 server. That was a good game tonight. I look forward to more against you guys. We have rateds scheduled only during the week, but sometimes we have enough on and can form over the weekend as well. edit: For those interested, try and bump this thread so we can get a customer service response about a rated warzone change in 1.5.
