  1. Haven't they postponed WoW expansion pack, i don't see that game doing regular updates either. Infact I think Bioware is doing a better job at communicating than Blizzard. And sinced you played since BETA, we can safely say you enjoy this game alot.
  2. I'm sorry but Bioware's swtor should not look like WoW more and more. I like the huge planets and mission objectives as they currently are, don't touch anything!
  3. You my friend don't understand the market, you see Bioware already made a success with this game (profit). This game is 2 months old, MMORPG's is a different market than those games who don't require an internet connection or for you to be online. MMORPG's believe it or not these days despite what they advertise for the minimum requirements or despite how you might think of the graphics, it has nothing to do with that. By nature MMORPG's require alot of resources from your computer, their HUGE games to be installed in your computer and it requires online connection that is part of the programming of the game and if there are issues between the servers and your computer (which their will always be and need constant monitoring, thus the maintenance every week) it also needs modifications every month with patches so the game runs smooth on your computer regarding the online aspect. So, everytime a patch comes out it creates a side effect, and they have to deal with it and bioware is doing a fair job so far. What you must understand, when your signature implies that you must be presented with a game that gives you a good impression is for single player games that don't require an internet connection and does not require a HUGE resource from your computer, and not MMORPG"S because MMORPG"S are an evolving breed and require patching every 2-3 weeks or month unlike a single player game. So, which boils down to the fact that you don't understand how MMORPG's work and you if you did, you would understand that Bioware will do it's best to make their MMOPRG work in the long run and make the game viable in the years to come to please the community. Single player games are a 1 shot deal, if they work they make profit and if they dont they can't come back and fix it as much as MMORPG's do.
  4. You know why your wrong? Because you were HOPING that this game beats WOW while WOW's popularity is only because of ASIAN subs not US subs. Also, you bought into the hype from BIOWARE that led to you to believe it will bea WOW. It might in the future when all bugs are fixed and the communities wishes come true and Bioware expands to ASIA. Anything is possible so you need patients.
  5. So, I personally bought this game 2 months ago roughly when it was released and even then I didn't have any crash issues, maybe a few rare framerate lags here and there but generally it was playing well on open world PVE. But PVP was and still need some work in regards to framerate problems. But now, after 2 months, I can feel the game is playing better and the game improving, still the warzone and illum issues still need better framerates. But overall, I felt that bioware is slowly improving this game and I can see this game being very optimal in a year or so. Bioware IS listening to us folks and WILL do it's best to please as much of the fanbase and maybe those who quit as much as possible for years to come. Also, I understand that patches usually create unwanted side effects but they also touched on this issue and whenever it creates them their on it as fast as possible. As for what the community wants in the future, well thats all left in the future which means you all got to be patient. Especially when it comes to LFG tool, the LFG tool will only be implimented I believe when servers merge or when populations increase. Right now, most people are leaving only to come back and test the game in a year or so. Also, there is such a thing as advertisement for this game in the future that hopefully will bring back people. But for now, this game will survive a long long time folks. So, I believe this game has alot of potential, we need to be patient and let it thrive. This is the way I feel about this game, I still believe this game is better than WoW or any other MMORPG outhere once the major bugs have been fixed. And yes, I am both a starwars fan and a WoW veteran. Thank you for your read.
  6. People who reached level 50 in 2 weeks did pvp warzones for quick and power leveling gameplay. I've been playin for 2 months and still level 38.
  7. I think bioware is purposely waiting at least a year until they start optimizing better memory management for this game. Cause they have other priorities ...
  8. Let me be clear, I'm not talking about everyone who is posting on my thread now. I'm talking about those who left or eventually going to leave. Their just sick of this whole mmorpg thing, and i'm not convinced of any other explanation they give.
  9. Those who are cancelling their subs and are complaining about SWTOR's many different gameplay features are basically bored and tired of playing any MMORPG titles. Lets face it, YOU NO LONGER LIKE THE GENRE AS YOU USE TO! Your not going to go back to WoW either, you've played too much of that game and are sick of it, your leaving SWTOR because your tired of playing the MMORPG genre all together. And your just deceiving yourself when you claim your going to play and go back to any other MMORPG. Don't waste your time posting here if you say you are either. The bugs in this game are eventually going to be fixed and I really don't care how long it takes cause I'm enjoying the PVE in this game immensily. And I don't want any of you who cancel their sub to come back when it is fixed either. You don't deserve to come back. That's my 2 cents.
  10. You made absolutely no sense when you said that WoW has more content then SWTOR, this game's every class missions is different and over 200 hours of gametime of story not to mention every one of them feels so rich because the mission givers are all voice overs and cinematic. This game feels much richer and full of interesting twists in the story and makes you feel like your actually on a journey just like in the movies. You actually understand why your "questing" unlike WoW quests where you don't have a clue what it is your doing.
  11. I read that midichlorians are microscopic livin organisms that enables the force. Is there mention that these living organisms also alter your facial attributes when ya fall on the dark side? like red eyes , pale face etc ..
  12. I've been following this game since 2008 and posted many times that this game was going to be similar to wow or any other mmorpg outhere and was never going to be revolutionizing. Actually the millions of people who baught this game knew exatcly what they were expecting including me and I still think this game is more fun to play than wow. I also think it's a better game than wow.
  13. For those that are Jedi knight enthusiast, I think the master strike move is too long and unrealistic. The animation is out of sync, I mean the enemy has lots of time to get away and even if he does, still gets hurt a mile away!? I end up doing master strike in the air!! opinions?
  14. Once they add neutral gear the problem will be solved.
  15. YES it was known that this game was going to be SIMILAR to "that" game especially the crafting system where millions of people posted since 2-3 years ago that "we" didn't want the "grindiness" that WoW had which made WoW lose thousands of subscriptions in the last 2 years and it's continuing to decline. SWTOR is for casual players and those hardcores that want to be casual from now on play SWTOR. If you want to keep playing the hardcore style GO TO WoW and use the Random dungeon finder endlessly for 8 hours a day and have no life it's your choice.
  16. Excuse me, but the fact that the crafting system in this game has been known for many years ago I wonder why you bought the game knowing that the crafting system in SWTOR wasn't going to be a mindless grind like THAT game ???
  17. I completely agree with this post, so far my choices have resulted in neutrality of my actions and my core being, it's just the way I am. Please Bioware we need neutrality to be an alignment and I know you guys have watched starwars and say there is no such thing and you either are light or dark but this is a game and allow neutral gear thank you ..
  18. Go play WoW, seriously do what you did in WoW when you finished raiding for cryin out loud! this game is similar to THAT game! jeeeze
  19. I dont know which world you live in kid but you seem to be hardcore player and I have news flash for you and I hate to break it for you BUT YOU AINT IMPORTANT! Go AWAY!
  20. There is nOthing wrong with swtor's endgame per say. The endgame develops in due time, there is lots to do (heroics, flashpoints, operations) etc.. Just organize and do it period.
  21. Size & exploration = much bigger than WoW Story content (lore) = much bigger & entertaining than WoW Npc's = much more than WoW Instances (heroic/flashpoints/operations) = much more than WoW My guild has to end up forming and organizing groups for heroics besides flaspoints and operations?? Heroics aren't solo-able even with your companion you cant do it. So there is much more organizing to do than wow. And yet people complain there is nothing to do after you reach 50?
  22. After dying 4 times i had to wait 10 minutes if i wanted to rez at my spot??? 10 friggin minutes???
  23. I noticed each time you die, it takes longer to respawn if you decide to revive at the same spot you died at. Most of the time, the medcenters are too far away especially on tatooine and you don't want to fight your way back since the respwn rate from mobs are also quick. The mission completion credit reward sometimes barely covers the credits to repair your gear. And when finally we had some open world pvp on tatooine, the battle didnt last long probably because of the reasons I just stated. I love it this way, SWTOR made sure repeated camping and assaulting doesn't take it to another level. Compared to WoW, it's a harsh system. I remember in WoW it takes a few seconds after death to join an ongoing battle anywhere in the world. I think we can say SWTOR is a little harsher than WoW in this regard. Don't you think?
