  1. dps in pve augment mainstat dps in pvp augment mainstat tanks in pve augment shield/absorb/defence tanks in pvp augment stamina I'm pretty sure this is more or less the case. I know for serious endgame pvp you have seperate sets of armor so different augments for pve and pvp doesn't matter, but it just feels wrong to stack HP as tank. I guess that's the pve player talking. If something is to be done it should ofc. be a pvp buff only. The simple thing would be to add a sideeffect to the toptier tank talent that boosts defensive stats v players only, but i dont know. I would hope it could be done more elegantly. How about lowering the base value of guard and add more value to guard for every % of shield. for every 1 % shield you would get 1 extra % guard up to the max value of 50. That would make shield valuable, and with high shieldrating the value of absorb will increase. That still leaves defence though.

  3. It's not so bad. still run BH daylies every other week or so. The realy deserted daylies are the Belsavis daylies that are placed on the planet. I was dooing some of them a few weeks ago and the area felt completely deserted.
  4. It seems we keep gettng new players in SWTOR so you would think the playerbase would be growing. The thing is players leave this game at about the same rate as we get new players. At least that is the feeling i get. At the moment were mostly just waiting for strongholds and that big "Makebstyle" expansion we all asume must have a level increase. Not sure that has been confirmed though. Marketing could be better i guess. I cant remember seeing an add for SWTOR, but then again star wars kinda markets itstelf. When theese new starwars movies launch SWTOR will probably spend some $ on adds I like this game, but i dont think it has what it takes to be the next big thing. Not that i think it will close down anytime soon, but SWTOR need to be better at keeping players for it to have real promise. Maybe future expansions will bring something extra to make players stay longer.
  5. I know why they dont say much, i just dont agree with that choice. If you decide not to say anything because you're affraid of negative comments, then going by that you might also say that's why the updates are so light. They are afraid to make more content because they might get negative comments. In the army we had a saying. The ones that work alot, make many mistakes, the one that work a little make few mistakes. The ones that doesn't make mistakes gets promoted. Ofc it's not so, but it still holds a bit of truth. No matter what they do someone will make some negative comments. However if you give a bit of info on upcomming content and what the future holds, then some of thoose negative comments could be used as construcktive feedback. If you just stay silent and release when it's ready then it's alot harder to change even minor things.
  6. Imo SWTOR would have benefitted from addons. It's a great way to get the comunity involved. I'm not asking for threathmeters and damagemeters or bossmods, but at least some UI-mods and an event calendar mod and wardrobe type mod. I realy wish the addon restriction was slighlty loosened. I liked that Oricon OP's came with a small storyline that turned into daylies. I wish that FP's would come with more story too. Think in the line of the Battle of Ilum/False emperor. The Zcerka FP's were a bit weak in regards to story imo. Apearance tabs. Some may not consider that real content, even I might not call it real content, but i still would love a feature like that and i would most likely buy extra tabs on CM. A few minigames you can play with friends. Ex a womprat shooting contest on Tattooine or nerfherding on Alderaan, some bargames,(a dart-type game ?) and ofc some racegame/s
  7. Ok. Not dying isn't allways an option though. Especially when dooing groupcontent.
  8. When SWTOR launched i had hoped for more different races. Not sure it's the best use of resourses though. I can think of quite a few things i'd like to see before another race. 1. a few minigames. Games you can actually play against your friends, not just a slotmachine. 2. QoL features like apearance tabs, event calendar, gearchanger and a way of saving talents and keybinds. If they dont have the manpower to make theese features, open of SWTOR for theese types of mods and let the comunity make them. 3. "tier 2 FP" Maybe just a nightmare mode of the FP's. I know the old Lost Island was a pug-killer especially in the beginning, but i loved the challenge. Imo it has the best scripted bosses in all the FP's, far ahead of the rest. Even the story was better than most. Also i think that Fleet should be burned.

TBH it's unrealistic that we would ever get a new class, and if it was tto happen the most we could hope for was a cheaky little story to zoom you to level 50 like Blizzard did with deathknights in WoW. Not that i think even that will ever happen, but it does reduce the work needed to be done on classquests. You would still need a starter area with some illusion of a class story to learn this new class and get you in adequate gear for Makeb. Maybe a neutral starter area where you at the end of it will have to pick side to reduce work on starter areas.
  10. I know it's not a huge problem. It's not like i die and get combetressurected alot, but still. Whenever it happens i feel exstreemely limited the first seconds if reserve cell isn't out of cooldown.
  11. Vanguard tank. I was thinking about an ability to cast a damage reduction shield on a friend. Could be a top tier talent maybe with a reduced cooldown on our own shield linked into it. A talent like that would ofc need to have a fairly long cooldown, 1-3 min. or it would be too good in pvp. Good pvp value, and even pretty usefull for pve in a 2 tank situation.
  12. 'If you actually read the post, the biggest complaint was not beeing able to report bugs. Imo that's a fair complaint. The retroactive achievements, well i would have loved that, but never expected it. It sucked having played several characters through Voss and then Voss rep was added. And ofc all the "kill X amount of Y on Z planet, but then it's just a useless achievement.

  14. i like the consept of B2P guildwars have. Not sure if it would have worked with SWTOR, but i like it. No second class cityzens in GW2, only difference is the cool looking people probably spend some cash in GW2's shop.
  15. A leftover from when troopers had 12 ammo. We used to CR with 6/12 ammo, now we CR with 6/100 ammo When troopers CR they have 6 % ressource, when bountyhunter CR they have 50% ressource.
  16. giving away cartel coins i dont see happening. Maybe a cartel coin box you can only buy for real cash, but i cant imagine BW/EA would want us to trade our monthly free coins away.
  17. What about all the skills not gained via talents but via AC ? Several healing skills are trained not talented. Some stuns/mezz are locked to AC and trained not talented. Most CC's are locked to AC and trained not talented. TBH it would be a balancing nightmare. Clearly not worth the resourses considering the same effect can be had if we got an AC reset. That isn't the same as saying i want an AC reset. However if the price was high enough and with a fairly long cooldown, then i guess i would be ok with it.
  18. I like the extra accuracy effect. I'd like it even more if it was ready for all pulls. How about instead of a 3 min CD make the reset require you to be out of combat ?
  19. TBH if the price is set high enough i'd be ok with it. Also maybe make a cooldown on using the AC switch.
  20. Last i heard was Blizzard pretty much shut down titan and moved resourses to the next wow expansion. Was quite a while ago though so i might be wrong.
  21. I'd say Bugstore, (the one he quoted) and Ashen himself would be enough to use the word we. Also when there's 2 there's probably more. Some people just have to realize that using "we" isn't the same as using "all of us". I dont see why the word "we" cant be used when speaking for a small group of people.
  22. How about a CM item, lets say a matrix, that remembers talents and keybinds. Make 3 or even more different matrixes depending on how well they would sell.
  23. a reduced cost for multiple chars would be nice though. ex. 1st 1800cc 2nd 900cc 3rd 600cc 4th 400cc 5th+300cc full legacy transfer 5000cc The reduced cost would reset after a set time, ex. 30 days so you have a bit of time deciding if you want to move more chars to your new server.
  24. Preffered is ok, i'd say it's even better than ok, when you have got your unlocks. f2p, tbh i think their trade restricktion should be reduced so they at least could trade in FP's or just move them to preffered status with regards to Trading.
