At this point I will be optimistic and give Bioware the benefit of my personal doubts. Which only really leaves my hoping that they will work diligently to include this missing content and that they might try and keep the community a bit better informed of their progress on it. Really even an occasional "this is looking better and we still believe it will be implemented with in the next 9, 6, 4 months" would relieve the frustration that I fill when hearing nothing.

Nozy I think you have some good points, but on the whole I don't agree with you. I can see the writers maybe wanting to make the S/S relations a bit more then a cut and paste of what is there already. Though I also don't understand how it can be that much more difficult to alter what is there. Then again I am not a writer or a programmer so will have to defer to those that are or have been and believe them when they say its a valid point. As for the link thank you LeJay. I can understand wanting to wright some new dialog for the companions just to try and make them seem really into the players. That being said though I cant see it taking a lot of changes to do and still keep it a good story. I kinda fear that they will be changing some personalties to make them fit which in my opinion would be bad I really like the companions and would like to romance them with the personality quirks they have.

My thought on Corso- is that coming from a small farm community I think he fits the M/M roll quite well. Having met men with similar views as his as far as women go. Also pleas hide any possible spoilers for M3 my daughter ordered mine and didn't pay for it to be here at release now I have to wait for USPS

Hi there just letting you know your 100% may be a bit off I have a happy little system that has never seen lag in this game (built to play FF-XIV on all high settings). I don't like PvP so don't do it. Nor do I mined the end game stuff much at this time. So I am not being plagued by other problems at the moment maybe I will be later but not now. Also I am not demanding it be implemented right now I am asking when it is planed to be. I really hope they get the things you see wrong in game fixed. I would also like to see this fixed.

Don't know if there is any point in asking but, When will you be implementing The promised same gender content?

I have seen many people that are putting the subscription on hold for one reason or an other. I myself chose to end my subscription until they release new on some content that is not yet in game but was promised. Many will probably come back when BW gets the game to the point it was expected to be at when released. though some may find other games in the meantime

So they are asking for evryones favorite romance moment on facebook. I left a comment about not beings able to. I would encourage others to do the same. They did ask after all.

You answer questions thank you. It looks like 1.2 has some good stuff in it. Just out of curiosity how did you decide what questions to answer? Why didn't you respond to say the 10 most asked questions?

today I have ended my subscription, SGR is not necessarily the reason though I would like to see it in the game. I chose to end it because This was one of the most asked about things in the Q&A thread but was not even mentioned by the developers. They request questions but only chose to answer ones that promoted their 1.2 patch. I will return to paying for the game when they are willing to answer the communities questions, if I haven't found a community more open with the people that subscribe to them. I have really enjoyed Bioware and their games, and find their lack of forthcoming in this one disappointing. I do hope for the best and wish you all luck.

When, and how do you plan to implement same gender relations? The lack of information on this subject is starting to become frustrating.

Just for curiosity do any of the companions ever make a statement that they may not be open to SGR? I have not seen any thing along those lines. To say that "you" don't see how they might be into my character of the same gender is really just "you're" perspective isn't it? Why do we keep saying that they are straight? That is not really the case. it is more that they are not allowed to experience any thing else which is sad.

I like this idea, it could be much fun

so back to topic (more or less) I still like the 2a option more. I don't think that npcs would need a complete character rebuild to enjoy romance with some one of the same sex, in my opinion to say that all same gender interested adults would have to be courted like this or that is kinda narrow sighted. I understand that some people don't want to have there kids exposed to a game with the ability to flirt or even fade out to have personal time with some one lets same sex or not. For them I think it best to not let them play. You as a parent have the right to say no. I still think having the ability to not choose a flirt option would be a sufficient "toggle". I respect the devs for all their hard work thus far, and am still eager to here news on this subject from them.

Thanks Wittand for that It makes it sound like they would like to get it in sooner rather then later. I would still really appreciate some general idea of how early is early to them. As I am one of the players that it is affecting there play. Also if they could make it more clear about the possibility of unlocking existing romance. As the statements do hint it to be a possibility.

I so hate when I have to pay monthly for a game then have to pay for add ons. That kinda thing ruins a game imho

I think that in the larger scheme of things, with a society that is advanced both technically a socially, That sentient beings would not fall in love or want to become romantic with a gender or species/race but would go far some one they think they understand and admire. Its becomes not so much about procreation and more about caring. (or in some cases bedpost notches).

I realized I didn't cast a vote in my first post. I would prefer option 2a at the moment I have made several characters, but have had trouble bringing myself to level them very far yet. If BW could give us some idea of their plans I would appreciate it. Also think it would be nice if they could add some SS flirt dialog with the NPCs.

That is to bad as a lot of the lore has people going from one side to the other and some times back again.

With the ability to go ether light or dark side will we eventually be able to switch if we follow the Republic or the Sith? I am curios as in game being a light Sith is not made easy nore is being a Dark Republic member. Also it might be a fun RP line of breaking from one faction to join the other.

I think you have a very valid point, but I like to play a character that flirts (probably more than they should) this dos not mean they want to jump in the sack with just anyone. Indeed just because I smile at some one over dinner and maybe wink does not mean I expect to wake up with them. I would prefer a denial option (whoa buddy I am just not into you like that). Once you hit the point of getting serous it would be nice to be able to so NO.
