While adventuring thought the Star Wars Universe I have stumbled upon a few things called Datacrons. These little stat boosters are a permanent upgrade to every main stat and are located on every planet thought the galaxy. If you are diligent enough to track down every datacron you can get a total of +40 to every stat. (That is like having an extra armor piece!)

Few facts about datacrons:
1. Permanent stat boost to all the main stats
2. If you find all the datacrons located on planets you will have +30 to all stats
3. Each datacron has a specific color associated with the stat it boosts

4. On the Republic Fleet there is a +10 to all stats datacron (requires level 50 to obtain and 4 people as well as a few items)
5. Matrix Shards are not valuable individually, but combined will create a very powerful Matrix cube.
6. If you find yourself unable to pickup a datacron that you have not received before, make sure your quest log isn't full.
