  1. Amusing seeing the Sorcerers and Sages defend their class.

Sorcerers and Sages do too many things too well. Too much utility, damage, and healing wrapped into one yummy burrito.

They'll be nerfed slightly if Bioware knows what they are doing.

If not, well, the game will just decline gradually more. They already showed their ineptitude with the Acid Blade/Flechette Round nerf, why not more?

I love Bioware for Mass Effect, KOTOR, Baldurs Gate, and Dragon Age. Their story crafting, voice acting, and just skill at making RPGs is unmatched.

I do not love them for their skills at balancing games.

  2. This is high quality $60 you will need to use you old PSU power plug it should pull right out the back of it.

The 5770 has a TDP of 107 Watts they recomend a 400 Watt PSU to power your entire system incase you have a really overated/low quality PSU. Your system is drawing about 200 Watts

Nevermind, I got it. I'm going to go with the same model/brand that you suggested, but 620W so it lasts longer, and its only a little more.

    Thank you very much, bro.

  3. I'll definitely need a new PSU, as I only have one connector for my 5770.

Honestly, my PSU is confusing me entirely. It says it has 250 watts..yet the 5770 uses 400 watts. It has a lot of chinese writing on it, so I think it could be fooling me.

What PSU would work with that 6870 I posted above for a reasonable amount of cash?

  4. I'm looking at upgrading my Radeon HD 5770, which is rather old right now for newer games, to a higher end card in the $150-200 range.

These are pretty much the 3 cards that I've narrowed it down to. Any higher, and it goes into the $250+ range, and that's out of my budget right now. This isn't just for SWTOR, its for Skyrim, BF3, Witcher 2, ME3, etc etc.

I'm not really sure if this would even be the right section, but I'd appreciate any help.

  5. I REALLY, REALLY would like a ONE-TIME, irreversable, AC change.

I play a Merc, and never was I told that the majority of my time would be spent bending over and shooting a rocket out of my ***. Its NOT FUN, and I'd much rather be a Powertech.

Just ONE TIME. How could anyone be against this? Just one time, and no backsies.

I'm not going to roll another Bounty Hunter as a Powertech and go through the same storyline I finished a couple of weeks ago.

  6. AHAHAHAHA

You think that "1 OP can do the same damage as 4 Sorcs in the same amount of time" is a valid point?

Operatives have NO utility, we are the squishiest class in the game, and do below average damage outside of our opener.

And you compare us to the Sorcerer class? Bubble, Force Speed, above average healing, above average damage...like, what is wrong with your head?

The only reason Operatives were even nerfed is because the majority of people play Sorcerers/Sages, and Operatives/Scoundrels were the only efficient counter to them.

Whine, whine, and whine some more and you'll get nerfed.

  7. I'm just going to sum this whole entire thread up with a ...

    WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

i can't hit 5k with buffs now, only 4k!!!!!! I am totally gimp now, cause i lost 1k in dmg! ****ZRFKZ0RZ!!! THE END IS NEAR!

    really guys....REALLY?

    *sigh*

Our PVE is entirely ruined with the Acid Blade nerf, ALL of our damage was hurt with that nerf as well.

It was never our damage, it was our ability to STRING CRITS BACK TO BACK. Simply nerfing our damage does nothing because we can still CRIT CRIT CRIT CRIT.

You morons who know nothing about our class, and just whine and whine.

  8. Been saying this since the DAY that the nerf notes were released.

Hidden Strike damage nerf is good - 20% is a good percentile to tone it down by.

Acid Blade nerf just destroys any semblance of PVE we had, and lowers the damage of ALL OF OUR ABILITIES by a LOT. I cannot believe Bioware even thought of this.

Jarring nerf is good now that it doesn't fill resolve. It looks like a 1.5 seconds stun is okay now since we can chain it with Debilitate. It should be 2 seconds regardless so we can hit a backstab or shiv before the initial knockdown ends though, since the GCD is 1.5.

I mean, Bioware announced these nerfs TWO DAYS after the Biochem and stacking nerfs. They had NO TIME to "use their own metrics" to see if we really were doing too much overall damage.

Its just sad to see that the balance of another game will die because of whiners and morons.

  9. I definitely HOPE the LS ending is canon.

I was Dark side throughout the entire game, no Light Side points until then. I was already 0/10000 at this point.

I just couldn't bring myself to kill the Chancellor. His offer was too great, his sacrifice was too genuine. Overall, it was just better for the bigger picture. I hated Darth Tormen, and I absolutely LOVED the epic boss battle with him flinging you every which-way. I survived with like 50 health in that battle at level 49.

I just feel like they made that option the best, and it felt the fullest way to close that portion of the storyline out.

  10. Oh rly? I'm lvl 63 valor, in nearly full battlemaster gear (2 pieces champ, rest battlemaster) and I can be taken to less then 25% life before I can even stand up. So yah, problem not fixed. As I said in the previous post, any class/skill/ability in pretty much any mmo that allows you to essentially one shot someone without them defending = nerf. Every game has it at the start, every game nerfs it. Ah the days of my DAOC hunter one shotting people from a mile a way, while in stealth, and then popping back into stealth :)

What class are you? An Operative can do this to you if they have full PVP gear and you are one of the squishier classes..that's normal.
