  1. First, are you 100% positive the saber is moddable? As others have said, not all sabers can be modded. Only customizables ones are, which they usually are an "orange" item. So if it's a green/blue saber, it's likely not moddable, stop trying to mod it! Second, you don't HAVE to use a mod table to apply mods to customizable gear. Just open your inventory or char sheet (if it's currently equipped) and ctrl-right click on the item. The mod window will open (if it's truly a moddable item) and you will be able to add/remove your mods. If this is truly not working, you are bugged, put in a ticket in the game. Posting here will do nothing for you as devs don't read the forums regularly, if at all.
  2. I'd be curious to know what your gear was like when you fought morr and the forge guardian? I had zero issues fighting them (twice as I've lvl'd a sentinel and a guardian). I think the biggest issue is that players aren't respecting gear, even at that low level. And, I always went in first w/ force leap letting T7 do w/e he wants (all abilities turned on). Sure he died, but by then the boss was low on health so it wasn't hard to finish him off. For those not paying attention to their gear: First, you just crafted a nifty new saber. Some ppl don't realize that even though you did a nifty luke-skywalker-poster pose w/ it in the cut scene, it is NOT equipped. Stop, equip it, and add that mod that also came with it. Second, by this time you should most certainly have saved up enough comms to buy the nice blue chest piece from the specialty goods vendor. Third, while you can't do much about T7s armor since droid parts aren't in abundance on Tython, you can certainly upgrade his weapon. Go buy him a new blaster/blaster rifle off the weapon vendor. Do these things and you'd be surprised how much easier those fights go. (assuming you understand your abilties and how to use them) Quick note to the OP, you should clarify that guardians get taunt at 16, not knights, since sentinels are also knights but don't get any tanking abilities like taunt.
  3. LOL .. pure win.... for the short bus team!
  4. Yup. Reward from Trouble in Deed on Coruscant.

  6. This is why I wear the Reinforced Phrik Chestguard.
  7. If you don't want to have to watch it, you can just make it part of your "rotation" in that whenever you use Strike or Sundering Strike, hit Riposte immediately after. If it's up, it'll go off, if it's not, it won't. You could even get in the habit of just hitting it after any melee ability (to ensure you're in range, no point in hitting it right after force leap, for example (unless you're watchman w/ talented force leap)).
  8. If both items are of the same type (light/medium/heavy) and the same rating, then yes, they should have the same armor value. This is assuming comparing a blue armor item w/ a custom (orange) item that has blue armor mods.
  9. Yah i've noticed this, especially when changing mods in an item that's in my inventory. I have to then equip it for it to properly reflect the new rating it has.
  10. Just cuz you put commendation mods, doesn't mean jack if they aren't at your level. I.E. using lvl 16 coruscant mods when you're lvl 21. Armor value comes from the rating of the item, for custom pieces, rating comes from the armor mod. Are you sure you're using a "blue" armor mod that is at your lvl? What rating does it provide compared to the non-custom pieces you're comparing it to? Also, purple == epic, so of course it's going to be better quality given equal item lvls. To properly compare with a custom item, you'd have to put epic (purple) mods in it.
  11. The sentinel has no tanking tree, it is not good for even off tanking. Sure it has some defensive CDs but those are only good in a pinch and not for any real off tanking a group may need. Sentinel is a pure DPS class, which some say is lacking and needs dev attention. I haven't been playing my sent long enough to make that determination myself, so don't take it as gospel. So if you want to melee dps/tank/offtank, the only choices are shadow or guardian, which of both of those, I'd say any shadow/guardian that isn't spec'd into their tanking tree would be a dps/offtank, while those spec'd into their tanking tree are tanks.
  12. I'm not sure I would agree with this considering many of sentinel's attacks require dual wielding plus they can't use focus or shield generators so the offhand slot would go empty. You'd be gimping yourself pretty hardcore trying to single wield as a sentinel. I'd recommend going guardian and doing their damage tree if you want to dps as a single wielding knight.
