    Huttball question.

Ok then, yes it is blindingly obvious that on your server the Empire have more experience in Huttball, therefore they are probably better at it. I'm so glad you made a thread about this. Life is so unfair for the Republicans. Be thankful you don't get Huttball all the time.

    Huttball question.

Probably? And so what? What kind of thread is this? Think before you make a thread.

    Less QQ, More Pew Pew!

Agreed. Where as alot of the time players can help an MMO get better, players end up making a game worst just as much. For example, rushing on to the PvP forum and raging as soon as something happens without thinking it through at all.

    Remove the Bubble

So sorcs are OP yet you kill 3 or 4 of them and then die on the 5th. Okay. Every single anti sorc here has made the most retarded argument, some of you stating abilities that we don't even have.
  5. Thread should be renamed. "So how do operatives 2 hit sorcs now?"
  6. Actually, I've been enjoying WZs so much more since the patch. PvP under 50 is great. I don't know what PvP at 50 is like though. Hopefully that'll be good too.
  7. Ofcourse everyone wants a reward, PvP gear that would be rewarded to players shouldn't give them an advantage. Not only this, people want to be challenged by playing people that are of their ranking. And to take the last bit of your post seriously, what about empire players who want to remain empire and be challenged?
  8. Stop exaggerating peoples claims, I certainly don't believe arenas were a godsend of skill and aptitude. I just believe it took skill as opposed to other things in WoW. I'm arguing in favour of a rated system for something that already exists and isn't game breaking, so in essence, I think we want the same things. However, I can forsee rated warzones becoming tedious, and if we want balanced PvP, this isn't the way to go either. In my opinion something new needs to be introduced. In terms of gear affecting PvP, this is an MMO after all, and gear progression is needed. When everyone has the gear, it is balanced. Gear just becomes a necessity for balance.
  9. Well yes, that would be balanced PvP, not "real PvP."
  10. I'm using the language of WoW, as most people understand it. But hey, I could definitely give you the definition of what pvp is: PvP is Player vs Player. Because it doesn't have to be balanced to be PvP. Have fun !
  11. Well, for a start, you could define what "real PvP" actually is, seeing as you use the term so often. Last time I checked PvP meant Player vs Player. So yeah, arenas are "real PvP", they are as simple as it can get. X amount of players vs X amount of players.
  12. But arenas in WoW did take skill (in terms of how much of a skill cap WoW offered). As you say, this game is alot like WoW, I agree. But arenas, or maybe even arenas with an objective is all that games like WoW and ToR can offer when it comes to players competing with one and other, there isn't much flexibility there. Okay, so you've been playing MMOs since forever, maybe you've come across PvP systems that make arenas look laughable at best. It doesn't mean that games like WoW and ToR shouldn't have a competitive/rated game mode. Thats like saying an MMORPG like RuneScape shouldn't have anything competitive cause the game itself is "messy" and doesn't have a high skill cap. Seems like you're putting me into your "elitist arena ***" category that you've developed over the years, when I hardly did arenas myself.
  13. Don't know how you jumped to that conclusion. I don't want this game to be like WoW, but I do want there to be a challenge pvp wise other than grinding a meaningless level to 60. I'm sorry but if you believe that arena wasn't a challenge in WoW (IN COMPARISON to the other things the game offered) then you are so anti-arena you're just blindly hating on it. Anyway, comparing WoW arenas when thinking about arenas in this game is stupid. This isn't WoW, and taking the main problems from WoW's arena and working on them could even produce a great pvp system. As for the challenge thing, I gathered from many posts in this thread: "PvPers are such a minority we shouldn't add anything competitive into this game because Bioware don't care about us, lets just be content with our meaningless WZ grinds and do some boring PvE" and this is the PvP forum.
  14. Damn, if theres not going to be any sort of rated competitive pvp in this game I may aswell unsub now. Doesn't have to be arena, could be a new idea that Bioware could come up with helped by the playerbase. Could even just be rated WZs. If other players follow the consensus of this thread then wow, the future of this game doesn't look promising from my perspective. I find it is incredible how the vast majority of MMORPG populations are completely against challenge.
