  1. - close your steam swtor - download the launcher from swtor.com - open the launcher and let it run until you enter your user/pass and you agree to the EULA - open file explorer to the folders listed and follow the instructions
  2. FIXED! This only takes a few minutes. Do it.
  3. If it isn't glaringly apparent to everyone, the SWTOR team is grossly understaffed. It's a ghost town. This game is very obviously not getting much love in the way of headcount. Bad game design, sloppy implementation, and exceptionally poor communication is not malice, it is incompetence, apathy, and underfunding.
  4. We get it, you're bitter. Hopefully, there will be something that improves your state of mind. I would like to say that I have appreciated reading your posts over the last few weeks. If you truly cancel your sub (which I thought would've expired by now), you will be missed. Cheers.
  5. I have to agree with the OP, the marketing for this expansion is almost non-existent. There are undoubtedly many reasons for this: low budget or they blew the wad last fall and there's simply nothing left, small if any marketing team, lack of enthusiasm by staff, maybe some trepidation about how 7.0 will be received... the list goes on. I remember vividly the hype before this game was released. It was insane on a level never seen nor emulated. It's a shame, as we all agree, that they have not been able to maintain consistent momentum. In any case, I'm still very interested to see how next week shapes up!
  6. OMG, the entitlement in this thread... Most of you complainers treat this like a job. It's not. This is a game you play for fun. Period. I've been off and on since beta and I agree that updates have not all been pretty. Balance has been horrible at times. Itemization has been confusing. Communication from the team has been poor more often than not. We went for years without a roadmap, then we had one, now we don't. I get it. It could be better. FYI, the customer is not always right, particularly when there are thousands of customers and many different competing viewpoints. I agree that refunding 100 credits for something that cost 1M is ridiculous, insulting, and dare I say offensive. But whatever. Nobody said the world is fair. My life will go on. The good news is that you have a choice.
  7. Horrifically confusing. Gear sets are an absolute mess.
  8. Fix or remove Rishi Cove. Most people I know simply quit as soon as they enter it. - terrible geometry - constantly getting stuck - not fun If you can fix it so that players aren't constantly getting stuck in and around the objects then it has a purpose. Or you can just put it on a very low priority so that it doesn't pop very often.
  9. Agree 100% with the OP. The gear/power gap in this game is actually very large, which makes any fresh 70 dead meat until they're able to close that gap, which could take weeks or months of grinding, playing a game that is not fair or very much fun just so they can be on a reasonably level playing field. Bad design that smart game designers have fixed in this day and age.
  10. We get it, you want to promote the new warzone. Done. Stop. At least 25% of the people who come into a Skyshredder match say, "****, **** this, I'm out." and immediately drop. Bring back the other warzones in an equal rotation.
  11. Make it so that when we select spam in the text box that we auto ignore them. As it is now, you are making your customers work too hard to help you fix this problem. Suggestion: 1. When we right click on a name to report them as spam, then select the spam option, there should be a) no confirmation box that we have to click, and b) we should auto ignore them so that we do not have to go through that whole process again. 2. Anyone we mark as spam should not go on our ignore list. It would get too long and is not really the purpose for that list.
  12. You'll get better stats all the way around with lowbie pve gear. Try yourself. Go to the bolsterizer and then QT back to the station and try out different pieces of gear. I have enough 55 pvp gear to get to the 2018 expertise cap, but after that there is no point in putting on any additional pvp gear. Another great design decision...
