  1. This is what the cyber crimes branch of the FBI is for, I hope these guys see the inside of a jail cell.
  2. You really don't need to play video games so they should stop expanding SWTOR. Great logic there! Good thing I wasn't asking you what you thought I needed. I was suggesting adding some different types of game play that would appeal to different markets but not effect current players, maybe you can add to that.
  3. I would like the planets expanded to include player housing zones, player shop zones. I would also like to be able to name the items I craft and would like the SWG crafting system because it beats the hell out of any MMO crafting system ever. Than on the cartel market I would like to buy several houses (mansions for the country and park ave high rises for the city zones), decor for those houses, maybe a big garage to show off my cars, a port to land my space ship, some servant droids, and a limo skiff to bring me to all the socialite parties and perhaps a sarlacc pit for unwanted guests. While I have appreciated all the missions related rewards of rare minerals perhaps you could let me mine them in a finer quality, and sell me the mining equipment to do it, in fact you could even make mining a space profession I know it's a theme park MMO, but the more aspects you add to the game the more types of players you will attract. (as long as you do not rune the apects that keeps the current player base here) I personally would pay monthly to own a server (planet) just for myself, and so would a lot of others.
  4. The cartel market is a rip off, you can spend $100s and not get anything. Than when you finally do get something "rare" they put it on a vendor for everyone to buy. But hey, it's a good way to get a bunch of useless stuff you can't sell!
  5. I have to say, I have enjoyed the Ilum PvP quite a bit! It has been the best PvP system in game to date IMO and I hope the BW comes up with new and better places to implement it, with rewards and all!
  6. It sounds like OP is broke IRL and wants everything in game and wants it now. Instead of posting that and sounding greedy and lazy he just said he wanted it for everyone but what he really meant is that he wants it for himself.
  7. As much as I think an iconic buffed out manly Jedi in a mini skirt, light saber reflecting off his dainty leggings and knee high fashion boots will just melt your heart and make you itch to play more. I mean what the hell are you thinking BW! This is star wars not a drag queen fashion show! http://cdn-www.swtor.com/sites/all/files/en/cb/2013_thumbs/shipment_2/last_handmaiden_male_854x480.jpg
  8. Look at you necro bumping for trolls, so kind of you
  9. Although I like your idea as a whole, I take issue with this, I love the event PvP area. It adds some well needed spice to the game and has been a refreshing change from the normal grind.. Also I think all the things you mentioned can be implemented on PvE servers if they also implement the OVERT system from SWG on PvE servers only.
  10. Look you answered your own question, why continue?
  11. Oh I see, so they are taking money for something and call it "tax" but it's not a really a tax. Nothing wrong with that! It's like someone overcharging you for something than keeping the difference, I see it's perfectly legit!
  12. Oh really? Here is a snip from Amazon's website: Internet Tax Freedom Act Companies selling over the Internet are subject to the same sales tax collection requirements as any other retailers. Remote sellers (including Internet retailers and catalog companies) are generally required to collect taxes where they have a physical selling presence. If they do not have any such presence, they are not required to collect sales taxes. The Internet Tax Freedom Act (ITFA) has been renewed through November 1, 2014. The ITFA was primarily intended to prevent state and local governments from imposing new or discriminatory taxes on Internet transactions and on Internet access. It seems to call you a liar.. Amazon only collects state tax in places it has a physical location just like everyone else. So it still begs the question, why is BW collecting state taxes.
  13. and why would they, the state doesn't provide anything to an out of state business, no police, fire, roads, utilities, services etc.. it's like paying them for nothing.
  14. On another note, where is the bathroom, my player has been peeing in those potted plants for over a year..
  15. Who exactly is going to say anything about them keeping the money people pay them in tax? They have no obligation to pay the money to the states they collect it for. It's not even tax fraud, it's straight theft and unless you can see their tax return you can't prove it.
  16. Yup, and those fees are so small no one charges for it, or they include it in the price of the product, they however do say it's a state tax..
  17. I'm so glad to see almost no one here did any research, just spouted off the first thing to come to mind. First of all on a retailer as big as BW paypal would be charging 1.5% on transactions and this "tax" is a lot more then that. Second here is a clip from findlaw.com: Sales Tax on Internet Purchase Depends on Where the Buyer is Located Generally speaking, if an online retailer maintains a physical presence in a state that charges a sales tax on most purchases, then that online retailer must charge sales tax on any items that are sold to customers within the home state. However, if the online retailer is selling an item to a customer outside of its home state, then it is not required to collect sales tax from that customer. Here is an example. Suppose that Pete, who lives and works in California, likes to buy all of his cooking oils and spices for his restaurant over the internet. He normally orders from Restaurant Supplies Unlimited, a company that is headquartered and has its warehouse in Nevada. Because Pete orders his supplies for his restaurant from a vendor that is outside of California, Restaurant Supplies Unlimited does not have to charge Pete a sales tax. However, now suppose that Restaurant Supplies Unlimited has opened a warehouse in California to better supply their regular customers there. Now, because Pete's order will be taken and shipped from California, he must be charged sales tax on his order. The reason that they do NOT have a requirement to charge state taxes is because asking online retailers to charge sales tax for states where they do not have physical presence forces them to pay a tax to a state government with whom they have no political voice and from whom they receive no government benefits or services. Local merchants get roads built to their doors. They get utilities delivered over money-saving public rights of way. They get police, fire, accident, and disaster protection. The states give them all this and much more, and they charge them taxes to pay for it. That's why it's not required to pay sales tax. SO WHY IS BW CHARGING US MONEY FOR SOMETHING THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY?
  18. The law is clear, if you don't have a physical business in a state you can't charge state taxes for that state, EA and bioware do not have any physical offices in my state, yet they are charging state taxes! I'm fairly sure this is some kind of fraud because they don't file taxes in my state.. Nice way to bleed us out for a few more $$s to keep tho huh! from findlaw.com: Sales Tax on Internet Purchase Depends on Where the Buyer is Located Generally speaking, if an online retailer maintains a physical presence in a state that charges a sales tax on most purchases, then that online retailer must charge sales tax on any items that are sold to customers within the home state. 19. At some point in time maybe we will get some futuristic star wars looking armor!
  20. They lied about the CE vendor and got your money, what do they care, it's not like you're really a valued customer lol. You're a cow to be milked till you quit playing, I'm sure once the new great thing they want you to open your wallet for comes along they will be sweet as pie and tell you how great it's gonna be! It's a con job, plain and simple.
  21. right click launcher and run as admin if it's not already
  22. I have enough parts to buy a weapon. I'm not sure what all the complaining is about? Grind 1 of your accounts every day on all the missions to make sure you don't miss any parts.. I did that, with 1 account, and caped out on my weekly rep points for this week before I did any missions after the reset. If you have an alt grind it for extra rep points or another weapon, what's the problem? It sounds like you people with 123412341243 alts want special treatment. The cost of the grind is a bit much tho, I haven't made as much as I've spent on repairs.
  23. Might be a musty cave in here, but a well deserved one.
  24. Actually, it's no longer SWTOR, they are renaming it to TLS or Tron with Light Sabers. So you have a new IP to be a fanboi of!!
