  1. Runescape, WoW and RIFT are the veterans still kicking, especially Runescape.
  2. Been playing MMO's since I was 8, I'm 19 now. This game is absolute garbage.
  3. My data comes from reading every single thread about people quitting the game whenever I've been browsing the SWTOR forums.
  4. The possibility of a party member being CC'ed for literally 15 seconds during a hard mode fight is not good game design, there is absolutely no arguing.
  5. Since I was redirected here by a BioWare forum moderator, I'm going to re-post my post here, he didn't mention anything about my post being offensive, so it's mostly unedited: __ First of all: I'm not comparing SWTOR to more successfull games, I'm basing my opinions on what is at the very least generally expected of a game with such a budget, development time, and release date of 2011. And second: The only reason I'm writing this is: To inspire people who feel the same as me to make threads of their own to raise their concern about the game, so that BioWare may actually make some changes and make the players want to return to the game. (I'm gonna try out RIFT again now that I've heard about all the new content and the (surprisingly) raise in popularity lately). So here we are, I'm about to pile up 9 reasons as to why people quit this game, followed by a small comment to most reasons as to what BioWare could potentionally do to fix these issues. 1) Bad engine = Performance issues 2) Short class story quests, needs to continue after 50. Was fun while it lasted, which wasn't for long. 3) Respec costs too much/no dual-spec, if players can't explore every inch of their talent trees without being punished by violent prices, they will be bored and feel forced to play either PvP or PvE or a specific spec in PvP or PvE. 4) Skinners Box is getting outdated, come up with more engaging and fun ways to reward people. (How about getting rid of the combination of grind + RNG to begin with?) 5) No macros. Don't even try to defend the absence of macros, it's futile. 6) Lack of UI customization. Should've been in the game since alpha, not a month or two after release. 7) Lack of graphical options. 8) I would write ''too long travel time'', but it's mostly because of all the instancing and the horribly long loading screens. 9) Too many bugs. Edit: God, I almost forgot. 10) No addon support.
  6. Quoting this so that the less fortunate humans will see that I mean no offence and just want to raise my concerns about the game.
  7. Do you think I give a damn about what random forum names on the internet think about me? Read the beginning of my post, there I explain why I'm writing this. Don't pollute my thread.
  8. What part of the 10) did you not understand? I could explain.
  9. And finally, 10) The remaining players in the game after all players with some sense of expectation have left (such as me) will be super-hardcore-fanboys (I don't like using the word fanboy, but I feel like I REALLY have to) that are going to defend the game and all of its faults to their dying breaths (or fingers), and those people are not the type of people you want to be surrounded by in a game.
  10. So in order to be viable in PvE and PvP, I need to pay (as of currently) 50k credits whenever I decide to do one thing over the other? Nice way to promote... playing the game?
  11. Yeah Solehn trolled me good
  12. I don't think people here understand the concept of ''cooldown''. But keep on whining about how horrible Marauders are in PvP if you're not going to face the fact that you have to utilize all of your abilities in order to be successfull. Edit: Locking people from using cast time abilities at all for some time while dishing out damage with a combination of interrupt, force charge and camouflage is good, free protip for the masses.
