    Solo Regs

You are correct Trixxie and the lack of separate queues that players have been asking for since launch is likely a part of why we've gone from 100ish populated servers to 2 low pop ones on the east coast. The devs are so arrogant that they would rather see this game driven into the ground instead of admit to their mistake and fix the problem. Most adults refuse to waste their time and money on an activity that isn't enjoyable.

    Sniper or Merc?

The balance gap is there, but it's in the merc's favor. * Snipers recently got to log in only to get kicked in the nuts twice in a single patch with the Imperial Preparation nerf (It no longer refreshes our roll) along with a nerf to the virulence tactical item. In comparison, mercs' available usage of rocket out was doubled this expansion and all their dcds/heals/nets/mobility/etc remained untouched. * The devs/employees have merc mains so nothing to worry about there. * Snipers were great back when legshot and snares actually meant something but now every class has at least a couple of ways to deal with it. You can't pop force speed and pretend electronet never happened. * If you'd rather play merc then play merc. Don't fall for the "it was my old main" trap. If you did decently well on a sniper you'll be kicking *** in wz's within a half hour on a merc.
  3. It's impossible to balance matches simply because it's impossible to even the playing field as long as premades are allowed to enter regular warzones against pugs. How exactly are they supposed to balance teams when one side has 4 "friends" in 255-258 gear that have picked their group composition and are also probably on voice chat which allows them to kite/cc while making detailed inc calls? The only "fix" to this would be to take all players in the queue and dump them into a selection pool. After 5 or so minutes of accumulating potential players, the game then randomly assigns players to teams. This ensures that premades are split up and sync queuing is not possible. Now of course there will be the excuse list as to why they shouldn't do it. We wanna play with friends! Well, your friends will probably still be in the same warzone, you just might have to fight some of them instead of simply farm the guys in 230's together. Population is too low! This is exactly why they should do it. With the low population of people queuing it's impossible for the game to find enough highly geared/skilled players to balance the pug against the side with the premade. If they do this I'm cancelling my sub! No you won't, this is the only starwars game around and even if you do cancel, you'll be back before 6.0 hits. On the plus side, a lot of the people that quit because they were getting farmed might actually return to give the game another shot.
  4. Leaps, intercede as well as the shadow/sin/scoundrel/operative abilities all work on the original huttball map. They don't work on the Quesh map. I'm not 100% sure about Vandin but I kinda remember seeing juggs leap up on that map. Carrying the huttball doesn't stop it and intercede doesn't break the stealth of the person getting leapt to. There are other tactics just as annoying as intercede. PT translocate and sorc pull do the job too. Your options are either control mid so they don't get the ball, kill the carrier or kill/knock off the stealther. Of course it's kinda rare that these things happen since everyone just deathmatches in their own pits most of the time.
  5. These rewards were exclusive to subscribers that maintained a sub throughout that period of time. They should not be re-issued or if they are they should be altered from the original versions. If they wish to run another similar promotion this year with the same requirements then they can give out an hk-55b reskinned model and allow people that qualify for the rewards to run "Chapter 10b" allowing them to get z0-0m-b. The requirements for the original rewards were clearly stated at the time and the devs should uphold the rules they set.
  6. All they have to do is change the quest requirements to: Gain 8 medals in a warzone OR Win 3 GSF matches OR Complete 3 flashpoints (any difficulty) OR Complete 1 operation (any difficulty) This covers pretty much the entire playerbase and some may decide to try out other options since they're not difficult. Asking people to complete master mode FP's will not encourage a pvper to suddenly try to learn how to do master mode fps. I'll just skip it. It's the same thing with the GSF stuff that we're getting 2 weeks in a row. I'll just skip it again because I don't know how to play that gamemode and have absolutely no intention on learning it.
  7. I'd like to see a scope type item/bonus that increases the range of rifle attacks the longer you stay in cover. For example you could get additional range per stack of stealth detection built up. Maybe even a clicky that works in a way similar to macrobinoculars so you would trade your field of vision and mobility for extra range on certain aimed attacks (snipe/ambush/followthrough/takedown but not grenades, darts or basic rifle shots etc).
  8. I'd like my sniper to actually put that giant scope on his rifle to use. The marksman tree should get a long range attack that works similar to the macrobinoculars zoom in. Every second spent aiming would increase the accuracy and damage of the attack. Something like this would make positioning and tactics important because if you try to line up your shot in the middle of a melee everyone nearby will kick the crap out of you. You would also have to remain stationary while aiming so it's not an attack you're likely to spam unless the other team is sleeping. Other adjustments I'd like to see would be trading off mobility and selfhealing for increased damage and legshot type cc. Perhaps a shrapnel grenade that roots/snares everyone it hits or some land mines you can set up that knockback people stepping on them. We don't need every single class to be a kiter with 20 dcd's that selfheals while dealing the same exact damage. Every class should bring something unique and useful to the team.
  9. I'd be fine with cross faction if it meant separation of solo and group queues. This would promote a more even distribution of garbage and lead to closer games.
  10. The funny thing is that I'll end up getting all 16 to 300 eventually. It's not really due to "grinding" but more because I get bored when a character gets capped and geared fully.
  11. Reaching command rank 300 on every single class is a huge milestone that deserves some sort of visible reward. Can we get a title or a flair or something added to this achievement? Thanks.
  12. Anytime the Republic needs assistance, they can call upon Major Eriak. (I can refer them to one of my other 15 lvl 60's if they need one). Nite ladies.
  13. I suggest you just throw players together randomly in NORMAL WZ's. Teams can do their thing in RANKED. But for normals take 2 minutes of "pause time" to sort out groups. In that time anyone that joins regardless of group or solo would be shuffled and placed randomly. A match would start when you have 16 players of any faction queued and RANDOMLY distributed.
  14. Imps playing Imps doesn't fix the republic. Stay on your mains, stay out of our side. Dirty headset wearing farmers. Learn how to get competitive. If you can't play without a tank guarding you and your mother wiping your butt, you're probably not as good as you think. Cya's in a WZ. <Insert sig of 20 55's here>
  15. Next time something like this happens ask for help in general chat & fleet chat, I play on EH and would gladly come assist.
  16. I wasn't talking about organized pvp events with set times and schedules. I meant stuff like someone calling out a location where pvp was happening in general and people running over for some fun. Anyway forget it. Perhaps I'll try out a pvp server and see if any open world stuff goes on there. Thx for the replies.
  17. Here's a shout out to all the tanks out there.
  18. My post was not anti-PM or anything against your guild, your guildy brought it up. I was just anti-exploits and I want a nice clean game as fair as it gets. Even with the premade circus. I can deal with "premades" but blatant cheating is ****ed. Anyway, talked to you in game so this is all over. Walk away folks.
  19. I'm not singling out PM about this either. You just happened to reply about it when your guildy contradicted you 2-3 posts up. There are many other guilds using this exploit. I think it's a stupid waste of comms and it's the DEV'S job to fix it, not the players. If you "pvp'ers" want to use this to gear up, then fine. But the real people failing are the people in control of this game.
  20. "At least folks in PM aren't lying about using it" Hello? Do you read posts you reply to? I even linked his post in mine.
  21. So you guys know it's broken, know that it's ruining pvp but are unable to disable it until it is fixed? Really.
  22. This relic is a joke and the devs need to disable it until a fix is found. I mean immediately, not 2-3 weeks down the road when all the exploiters are geared up. My main is a full shield spec vanguard (Gamto) and it pisses me off to see garbage exploiters in every match using this. Anyone that doesn't think 6 secs is a big deal, 6 secs = leap/smash/forcescream/finisher or fully healed from 1%hp.
  23. This is a good post. Point #1 is actually the most important one. When someone goes "It's a *********** x-guild premade" before the timer even dies down, he just cut your chances of a win in half. Don't clip your teammates nuts off. If you don't go in with a "We're gonna kick ***" attitude, don't go in at all.
