  1. Thanks for the continued updates! It nearly makes up for the fact that this issue wasn't fixed a month ago on the PTS. You guys patched one of the two routes to the walled-off area, which is good, but maybe it might have been a bit more cost-effective (from an exploit monitoring/punishment perspective) to fix all of the known routes...just a thought.
  2. The PvP WZ info looks like it is the most up-to-date, since it is only missing info on the Quesh Huttball WZ. Then I think about what that really means, and it makes me sad....
  3. We can pick light or dark side now?! Awesome! ... lol
  4. Holy crap that is an epic PvE guild name! Guess we should stop trying to make funny guild names now, because nobody is going to top that one.
  5. I've been wearing the CE imperial trooper armor for a really long time, and I'd hate to change my look -- about half the time that I do a group-finder flashpoint, somebody says something along the lines of "holy crap, you're wearing the CE armor?! that's awesome!". I started wearing it back before "adaptive" armor came out, and the CE armor was the only way a Sorc could wear actual pants. I don't care how powerful a dude is, you still can't take him seriously if he's in a floor-length dress or his hat has a reservoir tip. There is a chest piece (with dye slot) included in a set on the Cartel Market that looks kinda ok with the rest of the armor... but it just isn't the same Help us BioWare Dye-nobi, you're our only hope!
  6. I was messing with you I totally agree with what you said, but the nature of the beast is that "free speech + anonymity = ***holes". As bad as it may be, I'd rather have to deal with trolls and haters than not be able to communicate freely.
  7. I've been wanting to make my CE armor white/red for a while now, so I was really excited when I heard about the dye system. I was pretty bummed out when I saw that the CE armor doesn't have a dye slot
  8. Exactly what a "fanboy" might say. Nice try Astrobearx, nice try. You've gotta wake up pretty early in the morning to get one over on ole' ZeroOneNine though...
  9. If people could get cartel items on the GTN immediately, there would be little need for buying coins after a new pack comes out. Also, if the GTN were flooded from the very beginning of a pack release, then there would be no cash sales being made to people looking to flip their "rare" cartel items once the bind ends.
  10. Not sure if trolling or unable to add small numbers...
  11. So, they don't have control over what goes into a release or when it goes out? Is the main build stored on the same computer that was on the island in "Lost"? Oh no, it's been 108 minutes, we have to release the code! But it's not fixed yet!! Doesn't matter, if we don't release, this thing's gonna blow!!!
  12. Not the same issue? Keep drinking that Kool-Aid.... PTS: Bolster opens way for naked PvP Live: Naked PvP still going strong I don't care how we got from point A to B or how much work went into getting us there if the end result is that the same problem still exists.
  13. Yet again, bugs and "unintended effects" identified on day one of testing and catalogued extensively on the PTS forum have shown up unchanged in the Live environment. Off the top of my head, one example of each: Bug: it was shown that some Achievements weren't being applied properly (namely flashpoint & op progress), but the system was implemented anyway. Unintended effect: Naked PvP was discovered within hours of the PTS opening. Did that make it to the live environment? Yep... What's the point of testing if bugs in the new features & mechanics at the forefront of the major point release aren't fixed and then those fixes tested, tweaked, and re-tested?
  14. If only there were some way for everybody to have known months in advance that only pre-orders will get early access... oh wait...
  15. Easier said than done when most of the missions in my log are weekly quests at varying levels of completion. Dailys are easy enough to go through in a day, but doing Makeb and keeping my progress in weeklys is getting difficult.
  16. Totally undersold it! You guys said that there wouldn't be any class quest stuff, only planet quests, but each character has story and new dialogue! WooooHooo!!! However, due to my not remembering that Same Gender Romance was a part of Makeb, my Sorc is now just a little bit gay after making an unintentional pass at another dude... doh... gotta remember to stop selecting every [flirt] option from now on...
  17. Currently, it is your only option. That said, I would like to have these in-game just so we can filter out the trash, instead of having to wait for it to self-identify by making threads like this...
  18. I'm OK with older content becoming easier to do. I'm OK with gear becoming obsolete. I'm not OK with older content being taken away and then reused for higher level ops -- ops where the day prior to the patch you were running TFB HM in BiS gear, then the day after the patch you are unable to run TFB Story Mode in your now-totally-useless gear. Not cool. If they would have left TFB alone, and just had Scum and Villainy as the only new op, I'd have absolutely no problem with grinding out new gear. Grinding gear just to be able to run ops that I've already mastered ... not so much...
  19. My sith inquisitor is now dapper as $#!& -- thanks for the vendor update!
  20. I think what OP means is that he doesn't want to get into a pvp match where his whole team queued solo and the opposing team has two premade groups of four. If that's what was meant, then he has a valid point. Being from JC, I know that there's nothing worse than having a full pug team go up against, for example, a superqueue of LD50 or Unicorn Stampede -- even though it is over quickly, the only lube the use is made from the tears of their enemies, so it's still really painful... Yes, it's a massive multiplayer game, but sometimes you just want/have to play "alone" with 7 other people on your team. It could be that your guildmates aren't logged in, or could be that they're not interested in pvping at the moment -- whatever the reason, there are times when you have to queue solo if you want to go into a WZ. If that's what OP meant, then I agree -- it would be nice to have the pvp system prioritize premade groups and put them into matches with other premades. It would improve overall pug morale in WZs and would better prepare guilds for ranked matches. Win-win, imo.
  21. They updated it at one point with higher level crystals - now you can get pretty much anything you want, as long as it is the pre-order color and you have a bunch of credits to burn. I'm good with leaving it how it is now, until crystals over ilvl56 come out.
  22. They should add a "companion" button next to need and greed. That would eliminate 99% of the excuses ninjas give.
