  1. I have to agree. I really like the attitude of sportsmanship when it comes to GSF on TEH. I don't like being on teams that are smashing or are being smashed. To that end, when I'm on the team that's doing the smashing, I like seeing other players also encourage the team to give the losing team a chance. That way they don't immediately quit GSF with a bad taste in their mouth. Really makes me happy that TEH GSF community is generally really cool and supportive of each other, at least from what I've seen. Great job, guys.
  2. I can agree with this sentiment. I actually purposefully didn't try to play any the first few days after preferred access came out. Then I hopped on and decided I'd avoid my Flashfire and play a Star Guard the first few matches if I saw names I hadn't seen before. I played two matches and we got stomped. So I decided to switch to the Flashfire, and we still got beaten. You have to remember there are new players on each side. When veterans fly well it sets them apart as people who can be asked for help, I think. This gives a resource to newer players, and can hopefully foster a more vibrant community. I can understand holding back a tiny bit, or even flying something you're unfamiliar with, but I think that simply being walked over or not trying isn't the solution, especially now that we're almost a week into preferred access.

  4. Whoa, calm down there, friend. I think you're misreading a lot of the competitiveness as something else. People are having a lot of fun with GSF, which is cool to see. I think that's what you're seeing, just people having fun and enjoying the game mode and its inherent competitiveness. I feel as though there is plenty of community on this forum so far. There have been rather civil discussions about the advantages and disadvantages of ship types, what could use a nerf or a buff, and even people posting tips like OP has. Sure, the civil discussion is occasionally interrupted by angry or disappointed ranting, but that happens. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it does feel like there's a vibrant community so far. To me, anyways.
  5. Yeah, you and Knickers were both a threat in the matches I had with you guys. Knickers, you can hug a sat, no doubt.
  6. Hey! I'm currently away from my gaming comp, but when I get back I'm looking forward to grouping up with some people instead of going at GSF solo. Really cool that you opened it up to the public!
  7. Shout out to Knickers, Xeric, and Mister-Zero. Knocked us out of our winning streak. Good job! EDIT: Just did another match against you guys, have to shout out Keennzz this time. Seriously. On top of it.
  8. Thanks, you'll have to let us know if it works out.. My Commando's name is Erikis if it does. Making one doesn't seem like a terrible idea, though.
  9. I've looked through the forums and none of the ads really caught my eye. I'm trying to find some good military RP on the Republic side, because I just picked up playing my Commando again. Any guilds out there looking for another soldier, or anyone who can help me find a guild?
