  1. Thats MMORPGs for you now days. If you want challenge, you have to go to it.

You have to go out and seek challenge as it will never just be wherever you go.

Nor will it show up where ever you go either.

But it isnt just this game. Most MMORPGs are that way now.

If you refuse to go looking for it on the other hand as a lot of people do in MMORPGs.

Then there is the saying I tell people in world of warcraft when people complain its too

easy when the hardest raids will still wipe the top guilds in the world.

If you refuse to do anything difficult. Then you have no right complaining about difficulty.

  2. I wouldnt mind if they raised the level cap. But I will still play even if they don't.

I suppose they will at some point. But they need to have new content to run at

the new level cap with new gear to get if they do.

  3. Only one reason why they have announced a new expansion. That is, like it or not, because the game is doing well

enough for EA/BW to warrant it. People have been proclaiming this games doom as soon as it went live.

  4. Ya but then you gots to dealz wit every1's spelling and grahamcrackers cuz it wont be voiced u will have to reed whutever dialog there is. Hehe sorry, couldn't help it..

You would also have to deal with, or I should say BW would have to deal with, all the morons who

would make the most offensive quests they could think of, thinking its funny. BW would have to have

people review every quest before it was allowed in game which would be too much trouble for as

few of quests that would actually make it into the game.

  5. Exactly what are the people you talk to on the phone suppose to do about your credit card being stolen

or expiring? Just as with any company that auto charges your card. Its not their problem if your card is

expired or stolen and theres nothing they can do about it.

  6. Quite the rhetoric you went on there. I think the problem here is that people are allowing things to affect their enjoyment of the game. The LvD event for starters. I'll participate in it, because it's my choice to. I might not do all of it, but it'll be a way to kill time for me. The heroic credit nerf, I had a feeling it was coming as people were making credits hand over fist, repeatedly, likely as an attempt to try and bring the in-game credits back to a more reasonable level. I'm not keen on this one, but I can understand the reasoning behind it.

Bug fixes, this has been gone over time and time again. The existing bugs in the game probably aren't as easy to fix as these other armchair SW developers would lead you to believe. Others who have experience in the field have said the same. it's probably easy enough to identify the bug. But try fixing it without demolishing other lines of code that could impact playability on a more severe level.

There's more I can get into here, but I'll leave it at that. People really need to learn to relax, take a deep breath, and stop acting like the world owes them everything. There is still the lack of content issue that people are staring down, and that one I can get behind, but jumping up and down repeatedly, throwing virtual keyboard tantrums really gets you nowhere, except souring a mood over a screen full of pixels in the end. Breathe, folks. It's a big world out there, there's more to life.

Could not have said it better.

  7. Sunday on my server there were two instances of fleet (imp side) up. One I was in had 27.

The other one, someone said, had 150 to 160 or some where around there.

Just as with any MMORPG with multiple servers. Some servers just get left for various reasons.

  8. While I will still say the players themselves are the only people forcing them to do this event.

But, the event should have never required people to delete characters with a lot of time and

into them to be able to do it.

  9. The only one making players do any event is the players themselves.

If it sucks, you hate it, then dont do it. Leave it to the players that do like it as us MMORPGs

players have been doing if we didnt like something since the original Everquest.

People need to stop acting as if there is a gun being held to their head and make up their own

minds to do the event or not do the event.

I will however say that they should have come up with a event for those that have all their

character slots full with level 65s decked out in the best gear. Either have a separate event.

Or have a version of it for level capped people. Because there are some who will have to

delete characters with a lot of time and effort into them to do this event.

  10. Doubt it will happen beyond floating above the ground. You know very well that just floating

above the ground wouldnt be good enough. Right away players would be complaining that

they cant soar into the open sky. The reason why it will never be anything other then floating

is due to the graphics of the planets.

To cut corners and use less coding in some areas so it can be used in more important areas.

Game companies cheat on things that were never meant to be seen up close.

Things off in the distance are not always all there. Like the distant mountain that no one can

reach may not have its bottom half. Places that are instanced are not actually on the map.

Like in World of Warcraft before they added in flying in the old world. If you knew how to get up

the mountain behind a main city. You would look down on what is suppose to be the city and

see nothing but a black spot due to the city being instanced.

If it was anything more then floating. They would have to rebuild most of the planets or have

barriers blocking people from going out of bounds. We all know very well what people would

say when they hit their first invisible barrier in the middle of the sky.

Then there would be the problem of making some missions pointless.

When you must fight through a army of guards to get to their boss. It would ruin the whole point

to the mission if you could just fly over everything and land next to the boss. Or as said already.

Skip jumping puzzles or what ever it may be and land next to the prize.

Floating above the ground as we do now is good enough to get around and not have to rebuild

planets. Also not have missions ruined by being able to just land at the main part and skipping

the part of having to make your way there.

  11. You know what would happen if players were to be able to get even more credits then they can now?

The prices on the GTN would jump up to match the gain. The prices on the GTN are so high now

because everyone has decided others have the credits to pay that much. Raise the amount of

credits us players gain. the sellers will decide we can all afford to pay even more.

Look at any game that sells their in game currency and allow players to buy as much as they want.

People sell items in auction / trade market (whatever it would be called in each game) based on knowing

that people can have as much currency as they want. They in turn sell items as if all players do have

    unlimited currency.

Handing out more currency is not going to make things cheaper. It will have the opposite effect.

The only way to make prices in the GTN lower is if people stop buying anything from it. Or, the devs

cut way back on the amount of credits gained so players will not have enough to pay the prices

we see at this time. In turn, that would make the sellers go lower on asking prices as nothing would sell.

  12. To increase the length of playtime a chapter takes

No its not. What do you think would happen if everyone playing any other class had to fight their way

through all those mobs. Then found out that one class could skip them all and still complete everything?

Its like that because they do not want one class to be able to skip everything simply because it would

not go well when everyone else playing other classes found out.

Fighting through mobs has always been in games. Including those that didnt need it to lengthen

    the story.

  13. So you say it isnt about challenge. Its not about making it more difficult.

But yet, you are complaining because you cant kill everything as fast as you could if you didnt get leveled down.

That would mean that things take longer to kill. Which in turn means its more difficult then it was before.

I happen to like level sync simply because characters level so quickly that you out leveled most of the story

before you ever got to it. Now it will always be the right level. It also allows you to quest with friends or family

that have just started no matter what level you are.

I have been here since day one. The only things that were ever difficult to kill was the elites. The buff to the companions, not level sync, made it so you can kill the elites.

  14. There is always a group of players that their attitudes say they would like nothing more then to watch the

game fail and burn to the ground. Does not matter what MMORPG it is, or how good it is. But, as always,

they have a excuse as to why they are still playing. But in some cases, they do it simply to troll because

they know it will get a reaction.
