  1. As of patch 1.2, Centurion and Champion gear will be phased out, replaced by Recruit gear. Battlemaster gear will have the valor rank requirement removed and be purchasable with warzone commendations now instead. Compared to Rakata gear (equivilant rating), Battlemaster boasts a large amount of expertise, while Rakata only has a lead of a small amount of primary stat points. It sounds like a week of dedicated play can fully gear someone in battlemaster. What will be the point of organizing groups for hardmode flashpoints or normalmode operations for columi gear? Why bother with rakata mods/enhancements when battlemaster mods/enhancements have the same stats plus expertise?
  2. Multiplayer space combats! Will they happen? Are they coming? I know it's just star fox 64 meets star wars, but can we get some two to four player action there?
  3. Just so you all know beforehand: I wasn't in the beta and I don't know every little detail about Bioware's position on any of this. Please don't flame or troll this thread because of this. (Also note: I have not played or have any interest in WoW) Okay, so onto my suggestion... A support role. We've got DPS, Tank, and Healer, and every class has some supportive abilities to add to the group, but sadly there's hardly any buffs or supportive-based abilities in the game. Now, granted, this game is already so far gone from resembling anything except for lightsabers from the original movies, and the fact there are already "buffs" in the game looks and sounds ridiculous if you attribute it to any of the movies. But this is a game... Traditional of MMORPGs (at least the ones I've played) used to have a very fun and rewarding class out there called a "bard". Realistically, it's the stupidest-looking class in the history of RPGs (like, really... in the middle of a battlefield? Playing a lute?). Despite that it is one of the most enjoyable classes I have ever played simply because it's a class that is all-around support-focused (maintaining songs and buffs, switching where necessary). Now granted, this is star wars. We're not getting a bard, or a paladin, or a wizard. And obviously these classes were based off characters from this massive overblown franchise: Yoda the consular Obiwan the knight Han the smuggler Boba Fett the bounty hunter Vader the juggernaut Palpatine the sorcerer And in some small way, that all makes sense... to someone... somewhere... maybe in a galaxy far far away or literally someone reading this thread, ready to flame me about how dumb the bard class really is. But surely there are others out there who really would appreciate a support-role of some sort. It could even be hybrid support/dps. I don't imagine any new classes will make an appearance until at least an expansion or two from now, but surely I'm not alone on this. Does anyone miss the bard class? Is there a support-focused role idea that someone can think of? Maybe a voss mystic or an engineer or something. I want the joy of buffing back in the game.
  4. Is the in-game helpdesk managed by a 3rd-party support company? Or is the support actually provided directly from EA/Bioware? Every time I receive a response on there, it's always a canned reply. I spent literally 2 hours talking with one of the reps in live chat that didn't seem to know anything about what I was asking. They wouldn't even transfer to their supervisor. I really want to know if the in-game helpdesk is 3rd-party. That's a reasonable question to answer. 3rd-party support is helpful to a lot of people who want their hand held and have someone look up the answer for them, but absolutely useless when it comes to troubleshooting bugs or higher level technical problems. People should know if he in-game helpdesk is even worth their time, and this answer would help determine that.
  5. When will it be possible to rebind the "Create Ticket" key on my keyboard? Currently when I press the backslash key (the one that looks like \ ), a "Create Ticket" window appears as well as the Helpdesk Center. This is very annoying when accidentally missing the backspace or enter key to chat.
