This post is just stupid. You do realize that it's an rpg character right? My charater is not me irl. I play both male and female. When I create a charater I do just that, create a charater, not a mirror image of my r/l self. I create a charater that I like and think is cool, and I usually like female charaters better, I just love a bad-*** female charater. It cracks me up how this is some type of issue, I mean, what exactly is the problem? OP a little homophobic, or are you getting a HO from female toons but feel strange because it could be a guy playing it? I believe the majority of female toons are assumed to be guys btw, i mean who cares.....

Eventually the gear gap will close. Just keep chipping away, then you will have equal footing, and skill will become the deciding factor. Even if there was no "pvp gear", there would still be gear that would be superior and we would be forced to get it to be competitive, it always happens. Everyone wants the best gear for the edge, no matter what said gear is called. I mean you do get the best gear possible for your level for pve, right? Why would it be any different for pvp?

^^^exactly. It's been a week since I hit 50 and have over 400 exp now. Sucks at first but it gets better each day. I don't get the qqing, if it wasn't pvp gear it would be epic pve gear, unless we all wear no gear, or all have identical gear, someone will always have better gear than you, just do your best and have fun.

Illum is fun on my server, we had 3 ops groups together yesterday and were just battleing a huge imps force for like 2 hours straight. You guys need to get an ops group together, question is, do you have enough of your faction in Ilum to form a good ops. Ilum is only fun in large groups imo.

Agree 100% with OP. I feel like the game doesn't promote the community as is. Cross server wz's would just make matters worse. What is wrong with the BW devs? It seems like they're incapable of coming up with any good ideas to fix the game's issues.

I counted 12 last night verse my team of 8 reps... A dev posted in another thread that they are "aware of the problem". So maybe they will fix it in a couple of weeks if we're lucky...

I'm a new 50 and went to ilum for my first time last night. All that I saw was two big groups of imps and repubs taking turns killing each other, i'm guessing for valor/dailys/weeklys. It was a huge bummer, serious cheese. Well now I see how a lot of people geared up up so quickly, pretty lame though imo. So I'm getting facerolled by exploiters basically. I took some screens of it. BTW this was on prophesy of the five. I thought BW fixed the ilum exploit issues a while ago, when i was pre 50, ***?

doing the pvp grind now for champ gear and trying to improve my pvp skills. Also helping lower level guildies when I can. Also working on my crafting. I haven't even finished my class quest and this is my first toon. I find there is always something to do, but I guess it depends on why you play the game in the first place. I'm in no rush though to have/finish everything. To me the game is not a race and I think the people that raced to the end and raced to gear up are kinda bored now.

But wasn't everyone complaining the game was too easy? Maybe the devs never inteneded for the damage output people were getting stacking surge. Less damage output, longer more challenging battles maybe?

I have a full seer specced sage. Are you guys hating on dps sages or all? I just turned 50 and have like 35 expertise so far and i certainly do not feel overpowered in WZs. Just wondering if you are hating on me too when all I try to do is keep you guys healed up, seems strange to hate on healers, don't you want your healers to be powerful? I don't understand the hate, it went from hateing sco/ops to sorc/seer overnight. Who will be next?

So you got your Bm in 2 months, now you want a new tier, so how long until you need another? It's like a crack addict that can't get enough. Why don't you guys chill out and have fun stomping on my fresh 50 who became a glass canon overnight. there should not be a pvp stat anyway, pvp should be based on skill, not on who can stay in mom's basement the longest. Some of us have freaking jobs...
