  1. Dang this thread is dying, lets bring it back to life. Also show off your BLACK & BLUE!! http://i43.tinypic.com/34i44te.jpg
  2. I think this needs to be said: We all have to take a step back here and remember that SW:TOR launched officially on 12/20/2011. It just clicked the 2 month mark. TWO MONTHS! It is still very early in the game's life. Every game starts out like this. Nothing is perfect the day it comes out, and if you expect it to be you are living a dream. Wake up please. Like I said, the game is young. I believe it is off to a great start. MMOs have long life spans and change very much during that span. The day they are born and the day they die are always marginally different beasts. With Bioware releasing weekly patches, and releasing new content quarterly, how can you be mad? People tend to forget that they adopted a brand new game, then complain when it's not perfect. That said, please let this game mature. Give more/better constructive criticism. Help others out, help yourself out, and help this game become what we all want. We all jumped on the bandwagon, now lets ride this out.
  3. Good post. I totally agree. With that said, there are some things missing that are pretty much staples in modern MMOs. LFG - Whether you mean LFG for heroic quests/areas of flashpoints/operations, this tool has been one of the most handy elements since it was first introduced. Many may complain that you do not need this, however for people not wanting to join a guild, or who just don't have the time to commit, this tools allows for more people to team up with others to accomplish the task at hand. Guild Tools - I know that the guild bank feature is coming, but all of the normal Guild tools like the bank, calendar, roster, and perks should also have been implemented from the begining. These make an Ops leader/Guild Officer's life SOOOO much easier. Combat log - When most people see this phrase, they immediately think damage meters. This should not be the case. Even if there are no API's release to make in game mods/addons, this should be there so people can start number crunching and figuring out which specs are the most efficiant at their duties (threat gen/HPS/DPS). Also parsing information during flashpoints/operations to see who is making good decisions versus the people who are making mistakes and need help being more efficient whilst playing their class. If I am forgetting anything, please feel free to add.
  4. I wrote this in another thread about this. It is officially bugged. And the GM response, another post I made in another thread:
  5. To stop the hate and arguing with these posts about the Ancient Pylons encounter, I HAVE YOUR ANSWER. Yesterday whilst talking with a GM about a different issue, I had the chance to ask him/her about the Ancient Pylons encounter. I explained to him all the different methods to doing this fight that people were trying, and the response I got was exactly what i expected. Summary, NOT QUOTE: "The Ancient Pylons encounter on Hard/Nightmare modes is definitely on our list of fixes that will be implemented as soon as possible." There you have it. The encounter is OFFICIALLY not working as intended and will be fixed hopefully sooner rather than later.
  6. No matter what people say, whether you finished the encounter or not, this fight is bugged. My guild has finished this fight on both normal and hard modes sever times and it's just a luck of the draw type of thing. We have attempted every strategy mentioned on every forum, and tbh, sometimes you get lucky and it works. Two mechanics that are reliable are: 1) The ads spawn at a set rate, they are not based on stages. 2) If you take too long the control panels stop working (this is the enrage timer) other than that. Your best bet is to figure out before hand which platters need to be turned which way in order to minimize the number of times you have to spin them. Please Bioware, read your forums, acknowledge what people are saying, and respond accordingly. At the least, we need a Dev to post something in here to at least say that you are looking into the issue.
