been playing since swtor first came out. had a sub most of the first year then life happened and i couldnt play as much so let it lapse. then free to play came about....i sub'd again//made a mess load of money to buy everything i could. so now as a preferred player my only set backs are credit cap, item mailing and just a couple other minor things. so when i was playing alot (new content) i would sub...when just doing a bit here and there i would lapse and be preferred. nowadays though since kotfe came out and me being a fluff whore i stay sub'd. most time i just get a time card online form some wheres or just sub direct from website.

used to be that when i got a mail from a gold seller i would report it and never see them again. now however it seems as though swtor are doing nothing. EVERY time i login i have a mail waiting from the SAME seller i have reported over and over and over.

during the last move to mega servers all east coast US servers were moved to their Redland CA server farm near the bay area of SanFran. EU servers are in a server farm near their call center in Galway, Ireland

well...that all well and nice for raptr...( i am a longtime user) but like others have said it is just representative of JUST those users. Newzoo compiled data from Overwolf (another in-game app similar to raptr) and just put out its own list ot top 20 for june and guess what? swtor sits at 15 on its list...wildstar at 19 and no sign of ESO. from an article at Inc Gamers a UK gamesite: http://www.incgamers.com/2014/07/league-of-legends-tops-core-pc-games-list-for-june so all this tells is is that overwolf user like swtor more then raptr users....and im sure we can find stats from similar apps that tells us something different. data mined from small communities is not always indicative of global trend.

yes that would be awesome...a player made a mod like that for lotro...it really is a kool thing to have when you have dozens of mounts.

thats funny. blizzard can do it on their ancient engine yet bioware with a far more modern engine cannot. so sad its funny

never left and been playing since 4 days after launch. halfway to my goal of having a toon for each advanced class.(with only 6 over 50) have logged in and played almost every day. havent got bored once. still havent done all the ops. my to-do list isnt even half done yet. may i suggest that you might be suffering from 'Cant stop and smell the roses' and 'OHHH Shiny' syndrome?

top of the list is vehicle mounts that have my current companion riding alongside me (droids excluded of course) say something like luke's speeder......lol..maybe strap droid companions on back:D

if you want to see how EA/BW could implement a costume tab system all you need to do is look at lotro. you treat the tabs like server character slots. subs get so many..preferred get less..free even less or none at all. you want more tabs...you gotta buy an unlock just like with character slots. also...having a system like this would INCREASE sales from the CM as many folks would want to have more then one look. cold weather...daily dress...off duty....battle ready....social...guild dress....etc

while i would love to see the lag issues in KDY fixed i would also like to see the credits from killing mobs and mission reward adjusted to proper levels.

this^^^^ i like the idea of player housing but in swtor why cant it just be the ships? i would much rather be able change the color scheme on my ships exterior and redecorate the interior as i see fit. i would love to be able to display trophies and armour i have gathered.

@ the OP: if you think the CM in swtor sucks the fun out of the game you obviously have not played many f2p mmos. lotro made by turbine...the dev studio that showed other that doing a hybrid f2p model could be done...is a fine example of how a in-game store sucks the fun out of a game. the store in lotro is in your face...you are gimped in pretty much everything you do (even VIPs) unless you use the store. lotro's store is a fine example of paywall and p2w and it has sucked the fun out of an otherwise fun game. the CM here does nothing of the sort.

what is funny is that BW says too much coding is involved...yet a rinky dink lil dev studio called Turbine managed to do it. and not only shared vault space but also added a wardrobe you could drop any statted gear or cosmetic item into and then delete it from you inventory. The wardrobe saved the item and even allow you to make different colored versions of each item for use in cosmetic outfit slots. but ya...too much coding..riiiight.

ok i understand that there are NPCs with certain names. but here is something to chew on....in any kind of logical world of sentient beings there will always be someone who thinks of the same crud you do. i find it hard to believe there is only one person named Revan or Luke or Han or Greedo or whomever in the entirety of the star wars universe.

HM is great but personally i have not seen/heard anything that HM will require the trinity. that would be awesome if they do. do you have a source that says they will?

personally i like the idea of the tactical fp. it means that on guild nights we can get together with whatever toons and not have to worry about who is using what class.

remember that you are only seeing folks online for the faction of that toon you logged in on. add up all the folks in every zone and on each layer and then dbl it to account for folks on the other faction and you actually get fairly decent numbers. of course its no entirely accurate by any means but it is more so then saying there is noon playing after just looking at zones and not taking into account multiple copies of zones and an entire other faction.
