Are there any plans/considerations to develop a more extensive SWTOR App? Maybe one that gives the ability to check the Galactic Trade list, Companion missions/crafting, check inventory/cargo hold and allow a player to do most anything that does NOT help advance one's character or XP.

I just noticed that I am not the only one to suggest this. maybe if we keep replying to these suggestions, they'll take notice and the Devs will let us know what their thoughts are!!!!!

How would that give you an advantage? I can't STAND wasting away my time in-game sending guys out on mission after mission. Not only that, but several players are older than 21 and don't have that kind of time. I only have time to play the game about 2-3 times a week and I feel hamstrung because I have to decide if I am going to use my time to advance my character or up my companion skills. don't have the time to do both.

I agree, and I posted this as well... maybe if they see more than one of us post this, they will get the idea that there is indeed a demand for it.

YAY... finally found the suggestion box. First off, there is NO WAY I am the first one to think of this... A Star Wars: The Old Republic character assistance App. How would this work? It would be animation free, and consist of text and graphic stills. An app that would allow you access to your online account/characters. There would be no way to advance your story or gain XP in any way. You could, however, send your companions on their respective missions or have them craft. You could access the galactic trade for your server. Basically, you could knock out much of the useful, yet mundane, things that everyone needs to do. I realize that this may seem odd. But, this would be EXTREMELY appealing to older subscribers who do not have the time to spend online like those younger. We must be honest. Although there is a new young Star Wars audience, there is a LARGE group of 25-30+ yr. old players that would love to have ANY way to access the game more than they can now. I am one of them. With such an app, I would certainly feel more like I am getting my money's worth. SWTOR is a GREAT game, but most that fall into my demographic feel like we don't even REMOTELY have enough time to play the game. (We have families, jabs, kids, etc.) I was told this is the place to drop something if you want the Devs to see it. hope this works.
