  1. Hey crazy SWTOR forumites, have you wondered what type of gamer you are? Find out below and let it be known.

Mechano - if you enjoy complex mechanics, investing real time into the development of your character in partaking in the game world then you are the elite gamer, usually spawned from the earlier MMORPG'S such as UO, EQ and AO to name a few, where gaming was ruthless and rewards were sparse but damn didn't they feel so good?! You won't put up with sub par games and you will not be blinded by false promises, shoddy gameplay and reiterated, reskinned games.

Lego - you are the above average gamer, you appreciate a good game and blurr the lines between hardcore and casual, you can ultimately put up with shoddy gameplay and poor content but your patience will eventually wear thin. Ultimately you are looking for fun and could be considered the more transient group of gamers in that you will bounce from title to title, keeping the fun rolling.

Duplo - you love playing snap and catch ball, let's be honest, you completely missed the brain cell tree when you fell from it, you will consume anything that either has pretty colours or is similar to a movie you've seen. You're the gamer who will vehemently defend sub par games with shoddy gameplay and development and actively pay for it, because your unfortunately not bright enough to realise when something is being pulled over your head to make you blind. You will tend to play the same game over and over again just like you watched finding nemo 100 times. In the event of nuclear war, you lemmings will be the first to run towards the bright light; and, unfortunately you are starting to makeup the majority of gamers which is strangling the innovation of this industry.

    SWTOR - 10% Mechano - 30% Lego - 60% Duplo

  2. Don't try to speak for all Mass Effect fans. Some of us actually care about seeing the series continue to grow beyond a narrow perspective.

Squad-based gameplay WITH FRIENDS (startled gasp!) is going to be AWESOME. Period.

Exactly, ME3 MMORPG just like SWTOR.

It's got VO and story and I can play with other people and it's full of instances so it's an MMORPG like SWTOR.

    But

I can play ME3 FREE!!!!!!!!

  3. Thank you for calling EA customer support.

Unfortunately all our lines are engaged supporting our flag ship titles such as BF3.

Please hold for 3 hours whilst I transfer you to one of our outsourced customer service representatives in India who will not understand you and who will provide you with a generic response.

    Lots of love

    EA

  4. You really are one of a kind aren't you.

You must be that kid who waits for everyone else to get their party food first before you get any, then when you get there, you realise all the good stuff has gone, because you waited.

Enjoy your waiting. Hope it works out for you. I'm sure you will be having great fun.

    Waiting............

  5. As a programmer, do you know of any sort of way to find bugs like this? Is there some sort of testing phase or something that you can go through or do you just have to cross your fingers and hope everything works out?

I believe they call that Alpha, Beta and stress testing.

I'm not sure if SWtor did any of those though as their programmers must be going through billions of lines of code right now huh.

    That must be hard!

  6. I have experienced bugs! In fact my account was completely f-ed up and I couldn't even use the forums! I calmly asked for help and look at me now! I'm telling you patients! You getting upset is not going to solve anything! In fact, some experts say leads to memory loss and suicide. If you find something to occupy your time like another character, then the fix will come faster! Trust me.

LOL! Have you even tried their customer service?

Why you remain still in denial at so many glaringly obvious issues is beyond me. Go and explain to one of your non-gaming friends how you bought a product with so many things wrong with it you couldn't really enjoy it for what you orginally bought it for.

I can guarantee you, they will tell you to A: ask for your money back, B: Complain.

    I chose B: I complain and I cancelled

  7. You are obviously in the wrong place my friend! I think your looking for magically fairy land where everything works out perfectly. Welcome to life. If you want games that are less buggy on release, try console. But oh wait! Those have bugs too and get updated, and you have to wait for those updates! Oh snap! Maybe you should just give up on games all together? I hear Candy Land is in final release with no bugs or glitches, try that.

You do realise that if a single player game shipped with so many glaring bugs the companies reputation would be damaged?

Have you even played any of Bioware's previous titles? in that you should know that they have never ever released such a game with so many obvious issues.

When you cant advance your character because of a bug, or cant login to the game or suffer constant crashes then maybe you will appreciate why some people are so angry at a company they PAID money to, for a GAME, they should be able to PLAY!

Notice how I capitalised key words in the hope your backwards brain will interpret.
