49 Mara going to hit 50 tonight. I've been searching the forums here and at hater but can't see to come across the info I'm looking for. I'm looking for a pvp gear guide. I know that we have 3 tiers and that right now I have 4 (I think) champion bags. What I'm looking for is something to show where the different tiers come from. I know you get bags from dailys but past that I'm sadly pretty clueless.

I'm sure this was fun for a bit but in all honesty I think camping for hours is bordering on harassment. I know that if it were me I would not enjoy paying my sub just to get farmed by higher level players while I'm trying to level. I play on a pvp server and I enjoy it. Camping is for mediocre players in my experience. I work 55+ hours/week and the nights I do get to log on I for one would be completely turned off by this and would really have no desire to do this to other players. Like I said, you wanna do this for a 1/2-45 mins because you think it's fun, more power to you. Camping for hours is just being an *****hole.

I've been so sad about the Mara QQ but after reading this post I'm scared. I don't want to get nerfed I've gone from using 8-10 key-binds in WoW to using 18 as Mara. I'm so glad I picked this class. Mainly I chose Mara because it's a strength class and I never want to tank because I did it for far too lang. This class is super challenging and amazing. Finally some love!

Mara has without a doubt made me a much, much stronger player. I'm a long time wow player, I healed and played ret on my pally and also played a ton on my DK. I was using 7-8 key-binds for 5 years in that game. Now playing Mara I'm at lvl 47 and using 18. It took me a while to get used to them but It is crazy fun knowing you have that much at your disposal. I also play on a pvp server and I love catching 2 people leveling together because I know I'm most likely going to work them over with Quinn out. If it's 1v1 it's not even close. It's wonderful to know you have that kind of potential. I don't care if it's an L2P problem, this class is awesome. I just feel bad for the people who gave up and didn't realize it's potential.

Go with the play style you like more. I actually enjoyed rage but switched to Anni to see what the fuss was about. I now enjoy it just as much and not only turn mobs to dust but I'm never below 90% health now. My healer didn't get way better, things are just dying faster and having berserk heal you is amazing. I actually stumbled into the outside edge of an heroic zone last night while i was munching on pizza. I jumped onto 2 gold mobs and a silver. I figured I'd just be dead but used my cd's correctly and obvuiously in Anni you get berserk up quickly and was able to leave that fight with 75% health. Long story short, from what I've seen rage is pretty solid but just doesn't compare with Anni. Also I've heard a lot of people say Anni is somehow harder to play than rage but i really haven't seen it. If you've played Mara past 15 you already use 10+ key-binds anyway. You just use different abilities.

It's a real pain when not rolling w a premade or at least a healer or tank to guard you. I find myself mid a lot. In there I can find plenty of LoS. I also try not to use force charge to enter combat as much as I would love to do so. If you save it you can be right back in their face since most players are terrible and their first instinct is to use their knock back right when you start on them. Other than that it really is just a range players dream. There are just so many spots where you cannot get back to them after you get knocked off so you have to run away which is the only problem I really have w the WZ. Obviously they just have their CD's back once you reach them again so it's almost pointless to solo someone sniping. On the other hand it is really nice to force choke people in fire but then again, every other class can do that too >.<

This post made me giggle. I'm wondering though why rage works for you. I switched about a week ago to Anni. My machine and connection are super fast and I was still missing some with smash on people when it looked as if they were right next to me. BTW, since switching to Anni I do about the same damage overall but I can take healers out now w little to no help. On top of that Berserk is always up and that healing is nothing to sneeze at. I find my self much less easily killed. Don't give it up. Hopefully it is just your connection.

I wish Teladis would stop saying "WE" when referring to Marauders, he clearly doesn't like the class, should re roll and stop complaining.

I chose giant freaking human because I had nothing to compare it to. Not that I hate it but I tower over everyone else >.<

+9000, on the other hand, we should all listen to Taladis. He is all knowing and we should really respect his knowledge and single sided views. It is obvious to me and should be to the rest of you that he and he alone understands class balance.

Well done, yet another "I know more than you do" post. Congratulations on being a jack*****. I applaud you, good sir. The 3 lvl 50 Mars that love it in my guild must be morons like me. I'll be happy that way too. As I said, I enjoy the class, if BW decides to buff it cool, if not, cool. Again, I enjoy the class. Maybe instead of filling every Mar post with the same tired story you should just play a different class, you obviously do not like the class, there were no drastic changes from something you were used to before. It's the class that BW designed. If it's not for you it's with no animosity that I say just re roll and play the game with a toon you WILL enjoy. And btw, please link the "countless" posts that explain the problems with the class. So far I've seen posts complaining that at level 25 they don't do enough damage. Umm, last I checked there is a talent tree that from what I have seen of it is pretty damn important. As rage I don"t get my best talents untill 30+. Auto crit smash? Force crush? Yes i'm sure that can't have anything to do with it. The only thing I would like to see is deadly throw gain us 2-3 points of rage instead of costing that and go ahead and raise the CD to 15 secs. Meh, I'm done here. It will surely fall on deaf ears. If you like a challenge play the class, if not don't. Or just listen to Teladis who is an elite gamer extreme quite obviously.

I definitely have fun playing this class. Hell, just figuring out which of my abilities are best to use when is a fun challenge. I would hate to play something else that's simpler. As of now I'm only level 25 and from what I've read from others who enjoy this class it only gets better. I ran 5 WZ's last night when i dinged 25 and other than getting farmed in a 5-0 huttball by a premade (wish this was fixed) I was top 5 in damage all matches and I don't even have my best talents yet. To all that think damage doesn't matter that's fine so I'll tell you that 3/4 remaining huttball matches (I'm empire that's all we get) the teams were relatively even with them all being 2-3 or 3-4 wins or losses, I was averaging 25 kills with 7 deaths or less. The 5th match was completely lop-sided for my team and we won 6-0 in about 5 mins. As for pve, I really have no idea what is considered good but I'm having no problem killing 2x gold mobs of an equal level as myself without having to use stims. My def CD's are on a short enough timer where one is almost always up and they are dead pretty quickly as far as I'm concerned. I can see the lack of CC being an issue but aside from that the class seems great to me. I'm sure this will not be heeded but please save this thread for people who actually enjoy this class. There are enough posts about how much you all hate it. If it's not for you it just isn't. This isn't WoW where you've played the same class forever and Blizz screwed your class this patch. This is all new, just find the class that's right for you. To put it simply for people that are thinking of rolling a Marauder, Do not if you are new to MMO's and using a keyboard/mouse to play games. You will most likely not enjoy the class if you do not like to use keybinds or are unwilling to put in the time TO learn how to use multiple keybinds. This is not an L2P post it's just a fact, to play it to it's full potential you will be frustrated clicking 15 different abilities and never looking at you screen and cool world that BW designed.
