It is because many people took slicing and there are point when leveling it, that you only get augment missions. So in other words, high supply and low demand equals consistently low prices.

Didn't have this problem, I am have it at 200 right now and didn't notice any issues. If you have any green or yellow missions, I suggest doing those until you get high enough to open the next set.
