5/10 but only because endgame sucks and because of the heavy story line that repeats there is little replay-ability

What happened to Bioware is the same thing that happened to Blizzard, they got bought and are a shell of their former self. This is essentially what happens to all creativity in the US thanks to how economics and mass media work. This is also why small dev houses create far more interesting experiences with a tiny fraction of what the giants spend.

The problem is that I would have to resub just to find out whether it works or not and thats really not a wise way to spend $15 these days. Not to mention ive already spent $80 on something that was terrible and I am way over recommended specs.

Most people who read these threads and then post that they dont care arent really very convincing since for one, theyre reading the thread and for two, theyre posting in it. If you people really didnt care you wouldnt even give the thread enough consideration to read it.

I think youre wrong because people who have been around longer expect quality. Unfortunately there is so much garbage being sold these days new gamers dont even know whats good or bad anymore. Im sorry but the cost of the game + security key + subscription is enough to demand the game be what was being sold and quite frankly its not. This game is a LONG way from having everything thats wrong with it fixed and id bet just about anything that as soon as D3 launches this place is a ghost town as a result. TLDR; most people have very low standards these days.

swtor will never have performance like that with that many people in one area because the engine is crap. thats the bottom line and everyone knows it. You can be an apologist or fanboi whatever but we all know deep down it will never happen.

I felt the same way at those levels. I would even go as far as to say I LOVED the game. As I reached level cap that gradually changed. Hope you keep on enjoying it though and im sure in the next few months things will get better for everyone.

That may be true for smaller companies but houses like Blizzard and Bioware have enough resources that they are able to work on multiple aspects of the game simultaneously.

Without top level content that has a high replay value this game will die. Im not saying it has to be raiding but it has to be SOMETHING and nobody here or anywhere else has solved the problem yet. Besides with the amount of questing and leveling content there already is in this game I dont see why you should be worried about raid content being added as it wont effect you because you arent required to play through it.

It had the opposite effect on me but I think because the design concepts reminded me of the Blood Elf crap in WoW. Starting in Voss is where I hit the wall with leveling and have been stuck for the past week. Just cant make myself want to do it
