  1. Mon Calamari Zonoma Sekot (tough though, considering it's probably slumbering in Unknown Regions) Myrkr Dathomir Csilla Manaan Dantooine
  2. He was one of the few Jedi of the Old Order who deserves much more respect than he got, (besides Vergere) The Old Order was corrupt and an overall failure. They were too dogmatic and too rigid to react to the Sith threat. I hope he didn't die, because I think he'd have done a much better job at training Anakin.
  3. Both Jedi and Sith are dogmatic. Potentium is the truth.
  4. Start with the Thrawn Trilogy. It is the first ever EU book, and imo the best. It picks up 5 years after ROTJ, and it feels much like the movies, exciting and captivating. Grand Admiral Thrawn is a brilliant, fantastic character, my favourite villain in SW. (well, perhaps Nom Anor could rival him slightly) I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I also recommend Labyrinth of Evil, which takes place between Ep.2 and Ep. 3. It was nice to read that. If you wish to continue reading more after that, I recommend Jedi Academy Trilogy. It is about Luke establishing the Praxaeum, the new Jedi Academy on Yavin 4, and you also get introduced to Kyp Durron and a bunch of other characters which get important later on. There are also X-Wing series and I,jedi (which by the way I intend to read soon) which people recommend, you might wanna check them out too. There is also a very long series called New Jedi Order, which is basically about the Galaxy being invaded by an extragalactic species called the Yuuzhan Vong. Pretty good stuff, what's great in this one is that it takes the SW away from the usual and done to death Sith v. Jedi conflict. The enemy is a new threat to everyone in the galaxy. Even Jedi are surprised by them. It is composed of many duologies and standalone books, and by far Traitor was the best book of them all. But if you're gonna start reading this, start with Vector Prime, it's the first novel.
  5. I find the Dark Empire novels ridiculous and thus did not read them (cmon, undoing ROTJ? Luke goes to Dark Side? Clone hopping Sidious? It's too much of a strech) , you have to accept even by looking at how he single handedly orchestrated a Jedi Purge and then creates his own Empire, you have to accept that he is the greatest Sith Lord ever. Sith Emperor, with all the **** people are saying he's done, couldn't wipe out the Jedi, something so insignificant compared to the stuff he is capable of. He might have power, but he clearly didn't know how to utilize it. Sidious had both.
  6. I recommend NJO series but it's a damn long one, 19 books and 3-4 e-novellas so if you're gonna read it all, it's gonna take some time. But Traitor from NJO series is an amazing book, Vergere is amazing.
  7. First and foremost, Thrawn Trilogy. That was the best thing outside of the original trilogy that got me so excited while reading. If you haven't read it, it is a must, it is just absolutely amazing. I also want to see New Jedi Order made into a movie too. Star by Star and Traitor would make great movies, Star by Star was quite possibly one of the most exciting and and action-packed novels I've ever read and Traitor was just the best I've read yet from NJO. I am at Force Heretic II Refugee right now so still 3 more books to go, but overall I really enjoyed the NJO series so far. The Dark Tide duology and Enemy Lines duology were also great ones. The worst was Balance Point, I don't know I got through that, it was so boring.
  8. I suppose an encounter with a scouting party in Unknown Regions or a forgotten/recently discovered planet in a remote corner of the galaxy could be useful. I could see how they would explain why this info was forgotten. I suppose Sith and Jedi would not want this info to go all around, as it would show both sith and jedi order weak. (just like ysalamiri, the damn planet Mrykr wasn't even listed in the charts) I suppose some Sith and Jedi would take it to the holocrons but then they would be lost/corrupted/destroyed by Vader during the Jedi Temple assault I really loved Yuuzhan Vong, especially later into the books. As you get to learn move about their society's structure, they seem much more and deeper than an evil force coming to invade the galaxy until it is shaped in their own ideology.
  9. Yes. I'm playing for the story, so I don't really care about endgame.
  10. I would love to see Yuuzhan-Vong in TOR, but as others have pointed out, intercepting a Scout ship (Yorik-et) and defeating it would have been allright, we already know Canderous Ordo encountered one during his days of fighting closer to the galaxy's edge, so it's perfectly possible for encounters like that. I really loved the concept for Yuuzhan-Vong. I don't care that they're perfect Jedi enemy or something, their biotechnology, religion, rituals and the way they think are really interesting to me. It's a completely new and unknown threat to the New Republic and the Jedi, and this makes it really interesting to me.
  11. I would say Obi-Wan is the greatest. He is the only one who defeated Darth Vader in his prime, he defeated Griveous, fought well versus Dooku, defeated Darth Maul, managed to guide Luke which eventually ended the Emperor's reign, trained Anakin Skywalker and became one with the Force. He was a master of Soresu and his defense was almost unbreakable, tho weak against a Makashi user such as Dooku. All in all, I'd say he is the GOAT.
  12. I would say Darth Maul. I get that Obi-Wan was extremely concentrated and empowered by the Force at that point and yes it was a great tactical move etc....But cmon. How hard is it to just slash him as he's coming upwards like Obi-Wan did against Anakin in ROTS? It is just silly, he just kept looking for a good 3 seconds. I understand that he was caught off guard. But cmon, this is a guy who can use double-bladed sabers and can fight with two Jedi at once, that trick shouldn't have been the reason for his death imo.
  13. I would prefer a KOTOR 3 instead of TOR, but it just didn't happen. Kinda sucks.
  14. I have just begun reading the NJO series, but I have fallen in love with the species Yuuzhan Vong. It would be awesome for them to appear in a SW game.
  15. Because noone will bother making friends when they can click a button and queue all around the world. It breaks immersion and kills opportunities to meet up.
