  1. If they just switched the coold down times of force cloac between desception(2 min) and marauders(45 sec) it would solve a lot of problems: reduceing the ridiculous abundance of defensive cooldowns for marauders, and giving deception a viable escape mechanic when they start to get targeted.
  2. I don't really understand the discussion here. If you want to pvp, you start by buying all recruit gear, and then farm the coresponding battle master gear, and eventually war hero. First when you have full war hero the swapping of mods should begin for an efficient gear obtaining speed. If the next tier of gear have more endurance, so much the better, but it's not like you have a choice.
  3. Yes they are on the test server, and they seems to work just fine. Only problem I have had is that people sometimes show up as disconected if they are too far away from the rest of the team, once you come out of the warzone, but that is easily fixed by kicking and reinviteing them.
  4. How about removing the self healing entierly, and instead make the darkness procs buff the healing received with up to say 10%, 1% per stac, lasting 30 sec. That way it would scale nicely with the content, work both for 2v2 and 16 man operations. It would also fix the problem that everyone is QQing about, their abillity to solo other classes, and making them more tank oriented.
  5. You don't have a shared rank in the team. Each player has his individual rank, so you can group up with anyone you want to improve that rank. Technically you are assigned a shared rank when you join the team for the system to calculate how much you will gain if you win, but you will never see that number.
  6. Deception (middle tree) has decent sustained damage and is the best dps spec for pvp, on account of the direct damage. Madness (right tree) might be good for pve, but in my opinion, it doesn't really work for pvp. The problem is that you are so squishy, and one of the dots require you to do melee hits to proc, which makes kiting kind of impossible if you want to use it. Dot's might look nice on the scoreboard, but a healer won't have any trouble healing through it. To be fair though, you will help your team more if you run with darkness in dps gear, the damage:survivability ratio is simply much higher. However, after the upcoming nerf, the ability to solo stuff will go down a bit, but generic team play with a healer around will make the changes have little effect.
  7. With the new map, I think that most teams will get past the first door, if they alternate the attacking in an ordered fashion. the travel time between the doors is really long now.
  8. This. If you want to prove that you are a good player by playing a bad class, then by definition you have to pick a bad class.
  9. Right, because one players survivability isn't dependent on the player itself, but on the team. Er... This doesn't account for the fact that the healers will need to heal them about 40K more per warzone and player to keep them alive to the same extent.

  12. How about focus and generators? Stop trying to ridicule every attempt to make the game more balanced just because it isn't benefiting you.
  13. You can't get two set bonuses, the war hero one overrides the basic one of the "shell" piece.

  16. Must say your quote is rather amusing, considering that those crappy tanks in dps gear is the reason why darkness assassins is the only class to receive a nerf in the upcoming patch... Good argument is good.
  17. If I got it right you will not be able to chose a server, you will be assigned a destination server :S
  18. It is still 113 expertise on the pts... The difference between sniper rifle and two blasters for example is very close to naught if you compare average damage, however two blasters have slightly higher max and slightly lower min. The expertise is a totally different story, since even if it was included in the damage of each weapon, the defense gain from it is not.
  19. As the title said, I just noticed that if you have a light saber or a blaster in your offhand, you get 38 more expertise then if you don't. Additionally you get an extra augment slot, but that will be fixed with next update so that isn't really an issue. I can understand if they would get more normal stats from their offhand, but shouldn't expertise just be a stat dependent on what level of gear you have?

  21. I mean for the ranked warzones, so I don't see how healers would get lower rank then any other class.

  25. I just want to point out that atm, I have 19575 hp in full dps gear with focus (assassin) and 20796 with endurance stim, I am pretty sure you get about 24-25k with tank set in pvp too... The reason why people don't run in tank gear in pvp is that they want to be as useful as possible, and shield rating and absorption is simply not useful compared to surge, crit and power with the current system.
