  1. I play an arsenal merc and the 10% damage nerf on tracer is a non factor. They increased the chance for barrage procs. Unload is potentially our highest single target damage ability. They also increased the damage on Heatseeker by 10%. I know they wanted a more "active" rotation but what they got was the same rotation just more damage. People are still going to have to use tracer for the armor debuff. They're still going to use tracer for the armor buff, we still need tracer for barrage procs, 5 tracers is still max damage on rail shot, and 5 heat sigs still increases heatseekers damage. Its the exact same thing only we can use unload more often, but any arsenal merc worth anything was already using unload when barrage procd. Its an effective damage increase overall. The nerfs to pyro suck. Mostly for PT but Mercs took a hit too. With the 10% nerf to tracer damage comes the same 10% nerf to power shot damage. Power shot was one of 2 skills that proc'd PPA for free railshots. Now theres a 6 second internal CD on PPA and the skill pyro mercs used to proc it does less damage.
  2. funnieset thing i've read in a long time
  3. "The Ranked Warzone matchmaking system will match full groups of eight against one another, solo players against one another, players with similar ratings, etc. However, in order to ensure that players won’t have to wait too long for a match to occur, the system will become more ‘flexible’ over time. Solo and group queued players might be pulled together after a while if needed to launch a match. If a match cannot be made for extended periods of time, then Normal and Rank queued players (except those who queued as a group of five or more) might be pulled together to launch a ‘mixed’ match. Players will always be notified when a mixed match is made on the Warzone enter prompt. The rewards received in mixed matches will be based on how the player queued (type of commendations, rating adjustment if any, etc.)" So to the QQ'rs who can't read. -NO 8 man groups will not be able to stomp on unrated pugs faceroller style. -If you group queue with 4 or less people there is a chance of a "Mixed" warzone. -The rewards from mixed warzones are based on how you queued. Meaning if you are rated queued and get a mixed match against rated players you could recieve a rating adjustment and rated comms, BUT if you are rated queued and get put in a mixed match with non rated players you would still get rated comms but no rating adjustment. -Yes you can probably get stuck doing 5v8 WZ's since anything 5+ excludes you from mixed. SO if you don't queue up with a team of 8 you'll probably lose.
  4. I think he means American English... you know the only real English language. I mean since we're the ones who invented English then the way we spell things HAS to be the correct way! /end sarcasm Whey two Fayl grammer pohleece

    Fresh lvl 50 in WZ

So what you're asking is you also want to be able to buy full raid gear before you hit 50 so that you can better support your team in Operations right? No one before you had to work for their gear and BW is singling you out? And to answer your question... Yes, you are asking for free gear. Everyone before you started at 50 with the orange, blue, green mix and worked through cent/champ mix, to full champ, to BM etc. They more than likely remodded their gear to get the full benefit from it as well. Other people took the time to work through it. Find some guildmates to group with, do your dailies/weeklies, buy champ bags in between, keep doing WZ's until you get valor 60 and can start the repulsive RNG fest that is battlemaster bags. OR you can just wait for 1.2 and buy your champ gear with credits, BM gear with regular WZ comms, and about a week later buy your war hero gear with rated warzone comms.
  6. -You have heals just not dedicated ones you sit there and cast in combat. Unleash heals you for 10% of your health in rage spec. You can also buy WZ medpacks which are a 35% heal. -You're "stun"(force choke) doesn't suffer push back and does damage while it stuns. -Force crush is a 10m snare DOT that sets up you're smash crits -Your force charge interrupts casting, force push interrupts casting, and then you have an actual interrupt. How did the scoundrel even get a heal off? Any class with heals that isn't speced healer and tries to cast their heals on themselves in the middle of combat is essentially admitting defeat and just postponing the inevitable. Just because a class has heals doesn't mean its a good idea for them to use them in the middle of combat.
  7. Its funny you should put this in a post about huttball because the only WZ's where gear/numbers matter are CW/Voidstar. -You don't need full BM gear to get in a position to receive a pass then pass again to another teamate. -If you zerg around the huttball arena you leave FAR to many gaps for the opposing team to pass and run unopposed. -In my experience the team with the bigger numbers tends to lose huttball matches because they're more focused on killing than winning.
  8. He probably had to blow relic/adrenal and lucky crits to hit you for 1/2 health. Ops/Scoundrels are a burst class... but they're a glass cannon if he's bursting you that high he's not spec'd for heals. Which means he probably timed a WZ healthpack on top of his heal to get himself back to full. He wouldn't be able to continue healing himself through good sustained DPS with occasional bursts (rage jug). He would most likely combat stealth and wait for his long CD's to come back so he could do it again. Ops/Scoundrels are literally built for an unsuspecting 1v1 fight. My question to you is this...Did he cap the node? If not then kudos to you my friend you did your job defending the node and he failed his trying to cap it. I'm really not sure why rage jugs took a nerf with 1.2 (if thats the question you're asking). Ops and scounds took a hit too with the longer cooldown on backstab/<repub equiv> so their initial burst will still be there but they won't have the same sustained dps for longer fights.

oh gawd you're one of them... "please give me everything because its not fun to work for it" 800 WZ comms is enough to get 1 champ bag from the vendor. 2 pvp dailies gives you 2 bags a day. 2 pvp weeklies give 3 bags each. SO say you buy 1 bag each day do your dailies and weeklies you will get... 7 bought bags 14 daily bags 6 weekly bags total of 27 champion bags PER WEEK! 15 centurion coms and 7 champ comms per bag 405 centurion comms per week in those bags with 189 champion comms per week if you don't get a champ piece in any bag and only get champ coms Yah bro... you're totally right gear is SO hard to get that it should be handed to you. Edited because i forgot to add the 7 champ comms per bag
  10. I love huttball for the simple fact that it isn't just some derp DPS fest. CW/Void is all about who can kill the other people the fastest so you can cap the objective. If you kill the entire enemy time in 5 seconds in huttball and grab the ball from neutral, you have no choice but to run into the enemy zerg that YOU created. Huttball is all about communication, positioning, passing, and displacing/distracting (not outright killing) the enemy team so that your team can score. As far as the hazards go, I don't think they do enough damage right now, and i think there should be MORE hazards. Maybe Soa style lightning balls you have to dodge when you get to the enemy endzone lol.
  11. anyone know if theres a set of orange pants with the same skin as the Ciridium War Legplates? I finished Number one with a bullet a while ago and i no longer have the pants If i could find a set with the same skin thats moddable i'd be happy.
  12. I think its less of an "equality" issue and more of a legal issue. No guy is going to sue bioware because male characters get to sleep around. If bioware allowed female characters to act the same way they would get sued for portraying women as "s**ts".... thats the society we live in today. There are people on both sides of the fence, but no one is going to sue because their character can't be more promiscuous. The longer the game is out the more liberty the company will take with dialogue options, relationships, storylines etc., but for an initial launch BW played it safe.
  13. I am the only one disappointed with this? The other classes get: Warrior: Force choke Inquis: Force storm Agent: Orbital strike We get .... flamethrower I understand these will be tied to your heroic moment, have long cds, and be entirely situational, but honestly who in thier right mind would waste the channel time on flamethrower when they could just continue their normal damage rotation? All of the others have a situation I would use them in. Fighting a single elite mob and need some time for your companion to heal you up? -- Force choke (does damage and takes the elite out of fight temporarily) See a group of mobs and your AOE is on a CD? -- Orbital strike FTW (force storm would probably work here too) Got a group of mobs on you and your AOE can't be cast right underneath you (lookin at you DFA)? -- Force Storm! (Orbital Strike would also work here) The only use i can see for flamethrower on an alt would be to sit on the fleet and show everyone how cool it is to use flamethrower with a lightsaber in your hand.
  14. There are people who play 30 minutes a day and people who play 15 hours a day. I assume most people are in between. I play around 2-4 hours depending on if i have things to do around the house. Do I think I have the right to the same gear as someone that plays 15 hours a day? Absolutely! Do i think it should be handed to me? Absolutely not. People who play more often or longer will always have things before the people who don't play as long each day. This isn't just this game, its every game ever made MMO or not. Bioware cannot build a game around your schedule. It doesn't make the game unfair or imbalanced. Everyone pays the same subscription fee and everyone has the ability to get the same gear and play the same classes.
  15. I'm glad you can't read because i stated that the debuf was already taken into account meaning that the healer would heal for more in a pve environment AKA outside of a pvp scenario. And to anyone that is looking at stat scaling over time verses a direct % increase is crazy. If someone asked you to choose between have a 20% bonus to your primary stat and endurance, or a 20% bonus to damage/damage reduction which would you pick?
