might have been using a stim plus a relic boost. I know when I use my relic, it boost my surge up to 86%

I'm a focus specced sentinel and I crit hit sorcs for 5k a hit so if I get the jump on him, I can bring him down without a problem. Just got interrupt all of their attack and manage the CD on force sweep. I'm more afraid of an operative or BH.

I'm guessing it either has to do with if you've been romancing Kira or not, then it comes down to whoever you've been building affection with. No idea about the darkside option, maybe someone who has went that path can post it. On a more important note, I think the recent patch hit the final battle with a huge nerf bat, especially since BW said you shouldn't have to pillar hump to beat him and I think they said somewhere that it was too hard and they were going to adjust it in 1.1.

Sentinel doesn't get good till about lvl 40 to be honest. It's a top heavy skill tree but very rewarding once you get up there. It is much less forgiving than many of the other classes and requires a more complex rotation as well but the damage output is worth it. You are also one of the few classes that can effectively kill healers and you have access to a few buffs such as transcendence and inspiration which provide buffs to your teammates in the area.

Going to say watchman spec sentinel will have an easier time with this mob than a combat spec. You'll also want to outlevel it by 1 to 2 levels to make it easier. Took me a few tries but I finally beat it when I did it. I was combat spec and looking back after switching to watchman at lvl 35, I wish I would have switched sooner. It's AOE attack is pretty brutal, you'll have to use saber ward and once in, use call on the force and reactivate saber ward once is done. And for those of you who are posting 'l2p because I beat this so easy', instead of posting useless crap in this thread about how you are such a l33t MMO player, post some helpful hints or tips like most of the people in this thread are doing. The OP and many others, while saying the boss is too strong, are basically asking for help on how to beat it. So stop trolling the forums and help these people out.

lol But really, the key to romancing Kira is this: 1) You needed to NOT pick the first flirt option that gave you dark side points. All remaining flirt options with her will be neutral. However, I think BW fixed that bug, not sure though. 2) You need to continue building up affection with Kira. 3) You must be at the appropriate point in you storyline to get convos from her. Usually what happens is you build up so much affection that once you finish and Act, you get a ton of convos with her in a row. 4) You must complete the companion mission you get from her. The romance story with her was really good, I really enjoyed it. Not to mention she is an awesome companion and does a ton of DPS.

I think the respawn timer is a couple hours, 5-6 from what one of my guild mates said. And get use to seeing lvl 50s solo world bosses as we get bored and want to fill our codex with stuff to read to pass the time. And the fact that the lower level bosses can't really hurt us due to the lvl difference, it only requires time on our part. However, when I do decide to go kill a world boss, I try and bring along a few lower level players too so they can get a shot at the loot and get the codex and exp.

I avoid picking up stuff when I help run lower level missions with others. Heck, even if the item is my level but I cannot use it, I'll just pass on it, especially if there is someone in the party who actually can use it. Since the items get bound to you, selling them to vendors gets you maybe 2000 credits which at lvl 50 is chump change and I can easily go make that else way. I really do enjoy helping lower levels with flashpoints and missions though. Trying to show that there are helpful people in this game.

Make another character. Its what a lot of people I know who hit 50 do. They'll go make a character on the opposite faction or try out another class on the same faction.

Well lets be honest, this may be the first time many have ever RPed before, they have to start somewhere. Being a seasoned veteran of RPing, why don't you write a guide about it and put it on the forums to help people who want to RP improve their RPing abilities.

I'm on an RP server and whenever people RP, I just leave it be. Whatever makes the game enjoyable for them as long as it doesn't directly affect me, I'm fine with it. What really bothers me is when other people who are not RPing and come across RPers and start making fun of them and making a huge fuss in general about how RPing is dumb etc. Seriously just grow up and leave them alone if they are not bothering you. And making a fuss about it in general will just piss other people off because nobody cares what you have to say as you try to draw attention to yourself. I mean I've had some good conversations in general about star wars lore that were actually pretty funny but it just takes one troll to be like 'you guys are all x, yada yada yada'. If you have nothing constructive to say, just don't say it but then again, it is an MMO so I shouldn't hold my expectations too high.

I just started the SI story, pretty good so far. Going all dark side since I went all light on my JK. The JK story line was pretty epic and was basically a KOTOR 3 if they made one. A lot of slicing and dicing imperials and sith but it was interesting and kept me engaged. Plus the romance is pretty good since Kira has a really funny attitude while being a great companion. I went all light side options so it was pretty noble and honorable. Just starting on tattoine on my trooper and while the story is ok, it just seems kinda dry compared to the JK story, not to mention the combat seems a lot easier on my commando after playing my sentinel to lvl 50. I have a mix of LS and DS points but its just hard for me to get engaged in the story line. As for the companions, M1-4X is a great companion attitude wise but I wish I could have Jaxo as a companion since Dorne just doesnt do it for me. My bounty hunter is nearly finished on Dromund Kass and its an interesting story line and is set apart from the rest of the empire story. As a bounty hunter, I get to be a greed, smarta** and since imperials dont like BH, I get some funny convo options, especially in some of the groups I do. Don't know much about the companions since I just have Mako so I'll have to see how it goes. I went female with this character so me and mako have a bit of a girl power bond going on I guess. Went mostly LS so far. And my SI just got to Dromund Kass and its been fun so far. I love the lightning stuff and decided to go all DS with this one, making for some rather gratifying interogation or killing with lightning, especially after playing the noble JK. Other than that, can't say much about it, though the companion Khen, provides some funny convo options when I ask him if he can eat the other guy and I get a reply, "Too much cybernetics, bad for digestion".

What I meant was you need T7 upgraded to kill the trash mobs on the way there. You can do it with his lvl 20 armor but its much easier if he is upgraded.

I used Kira for the romancing option and because our combined dps just shredded everything. I was watchman specced at the time so the heals helped a lot. Then I switched to focus spec at lvl 50, nothing like AOE crit hitting mobs for 3.5k. Makes a number of flashpoints easier, especially with all the trash some have. Spamming my AOE attack on voidstar near the door is pretty entertaining as well, make a lot of friends on the imperial side that way.

This. And if it doesn't fire, just spam the crap out of the button and it will fire eventually.
