  1. I need a good guide for lightning, because juggs and shadows kill me easily in pvp. Also, my damage is like 500k after the match, but others do over 1.5 mil. And it's frustrating.

My biggest hit was 13k. But it happend only one time and I don't know how i did it. All the other biggest hits are around 5 or 6k...

Affliction your target, only thing you should really be casting is thundering blast, everything else pretty much procs after that. Storm multiple enemies.

  2. 1. Powertech AP build is not balanced, specifically shoulder cannon.

    2. Sorc's are packed with an insane amount of utility, healing, damage, mobility and have the best resource management compared to other healer types.

    3. Assassins are crazy powerful... burst, tanky, CC immunity, damage shields, and phasewalk.

    4. Juggs are what I feel to be the most balanced class in the game right now. They are good, but not overwhelmingly so.

    5. Operative's are good all around, and their healing is very powerful.

    5. Snipers, Mercs, and Mara's are second rate classes. All the other advanced classes have stupidly better abilities for survival and utility. It's almost like the game designers purposefully made some classes more powerful than others.

There is a reason why you don't see 3+ snipers, mara's, or mercs per match...but Assassins, Juggs, Sorcs, and PT it's not unreasonable. Because the latter classes are vastly superior thus making them more fun to play.

    lol someone plays mara.

  3. If you are good then the fodder refreshing is irrelevant, if you are bad I can see why you don't like it when the good player leaves the abortion. So logically the only people who would complain about people leaving, are bad people.
  4. I have never been beaten (DPS wise) in a Warzone playing Pyrotech spec. I think the update made it even better. It depends on your play style. It's a bummer that rail shot doesn't refresh anymore after 6 seconds but everything is trade offs. We gained immolate / auto crit, and way more AOE from being able to utilize Flamethrower now, and flame sweep does apply dots to every enemy I hit in a wz. So I'm not sure what the issue is.

That's soft damage and a mentality powertechs need to get away from. Spreading dots all over the place is cheap dps to make the applier feel good about themselves for no real reason. Especially with the way healing is now, you are basically irrelevant.

  5. My PT and Vanguard are mirrors, in fact as I played my pt a lot this weekend he has the stat advantage now. He bolsters with 40 less tech damage and 4k less health than my vanguard. I've tried everything to fix it, and the only thing I can think of is I augmented my vanguard right at the start of 3.0, and my pt after the update.
  6. #1 threat in a ranked matched, that is an interesting moniker and not untrue. From my solo queue experience even morons know to tunnel the vanguard/pt first, the truly special who give them a free release rightly deserve their fate. As long as their defensive cooldowns are subpar compared to the other classes their burst is more than justified.
  7. Its augments in general not exactly the power vs mainstat. Taking an augment out nets me more health than having it in. Artifact augments aren't bolstering properly.

My Vanguard bolsters 4k higher health in warzones compared to my powertech, they have mirrored stats outside of the warzone. The only thing I can think of is I augmented my vanguard early on in 3.0 compared to my pt.

  8. I don't feel gimped, but certainly not as strong as I feel on a shadow or guardian/jug (I main a sentinel now and also play these other classes. Those other classes just have much better tools right now to combat kiting and for surviving focus fire. With mara/sent damage where it is now (still very good), a few tweaks to defensive cooldowns (I'm looking at you undying rage/GBTF), and a few buffs to utilities could completely change that.

You can tweek GBTF in utilities to have less than 1:30 cooldown. They don't need any sort of cooldown reduction on that side if anything they need more mitigating defenses and a cooldown nerf to GBTF.
