I'm completely in favor of pruning, many abilities feel like they get outgrown or only added to a rotation because well...they're there...so...use them... like i feel obligated to press some buttons and i don't want to press them. Some abilities, like the abundance of long CD abilities being the prime example of buttons i could do without. My general rotation is filled with enough buttons that so many just sit unused to the side anyway because they just aren't fun to press and its not like i need them unless i'm in raid content, which there i'm only pressing them because i'm obligated to for increased dps. As a gunslinger i have an AOE defensive which feels more at home on a healer (wow disc priest barrier). Cool head, illegal mods, burst volley, smugglers luck, bag of tricks, scrambling field, diversion, surrender, and i'm sure one or two more i can't think of... just aren't fun to press and frankly i never do and could do without em. Some of them could easily be worked into the abilities themselves or just removed and i wouldn't miss them I know some are against the pruning, but just letting you know i'm all for it

What I REEEEeaaaallly want is a Satele Shan companion/Romance (both genders) i don't care if she's like 60 by now, she still mah main wish in this game. That being said I'd love Acina as a romance/companion (probably only for those who side with sith obviously) But after those two...i would much prefer giving more content to existing companions, like that Senya romance we never got, giving Vette a same sex option somewhere...things like that.

I am totally 100% for romancing Satele and getting her as a companion after the next content is over, i have like 3 characters saving themselves for her, my milfy star wars crush...this would make me a very happy Swtor player!

I do hope they bring her back, with the option for female sorcs to now romance her. My sorc turned down romance with all characters, has barely flirted, all because she is waiting for Azshara to come around...

Exactly, having reduced staff and resources is no excuse for the ridiculous and idiotic changes that have been made recently. They are nerfing the dmg and survivability of classes that have very little, and doing almost nothing to classes that have it all day long. There is no game, universe, extended universe, multiverse or empty soda can that exists where a class like a merc should have soooo many ways to survive via heals, reflects, dmg reduction, etc etc etc, while other classes get blown up and can't do anything about it. What purpose do all those cooldowns serve besides making the merc OP in pvp. They aren't needed in PVE, in solo content i never use them because i don't need them, and in raid content...that's what healers are for... It doesn't take a full staff to make stupid decisions when a couple people can do it themselves. When i look at class vs class situations like a madness sorc vs an arsenal merc, and i see the choices they make, my brain cannot process how they arrived at these conclusions. Its like, putting a silverback gorilla in a deathmatch with a miniature poodle. Dev 1 "Hmm doesn't something about this seem a little...off to you?" Dev 2 "You're right, lets give the Gorilla a machete and a flak jacket" Dev 1 "Of course, that's it! but don't you think the flak jacket is a little much?" Dev 2 "you're right, lets just make it a kevlar vest instead" Dev 1 & 2 "Brilliant!"

ya, its utterly ridiculous how terrible failware is at balancing pvp lately, at first i thought i would just play my merc, but its not a lot of fun when its team merc vs team merc... a very dull game

ya, after returning to the game from a long absence i was very distraught to find out the state of sorcs. I'm not saying i'm the best or anything, but i used to be very good at pvp with madness sorc and it was my fav. But now its just a joke, we get demonlished by just about any other class, its laughable (i really did just start laughing...) to see a merc heal to full for the 3rd time without any healers around while my dinky little bubble pops in 2 seconds, self healing outside heal spec is a joke...but that's ok because i can annoy them for 10 seconds with barrier.... at least on the other side its nice to know where the free kills are it really is sad that its come to this, and that sorcs are so overlooked that all we got in this last patch was a tiny defensive buff that i doubt will help any more than giving us an extra 1 second of saying "well...hell with this..."

Well to me, it's obvious that Theron is "going undercover" with this new organization, and the only way that he could get in, would be to betray the Eternal Alliance and have them see it. My big issue and question with this is ...why? Your character is sitting on the Eternal Throne, commanding virtually unlimited power with an armada at their disposal. You defeated an immortal and his ridiculously powerful kids. What possible threat can this faction pose? And if it IS a threat, where were they during the 5 years you were gone and the Eternal Empire stomped on the galaxy for fun and profit? My point is that, this faction is no more than a yipping little dog that can't pose any real credible threat to the Eternal Empire, so Theron having to go undercover is trite, contrived and completely silly. It's like a cop going undercover to take down an underground bake sale, with the biggest danger being dragged into a book club. Though I will admit they have sort of portrayed your character overall as just terrible at life in cut-scenes. More than once you have been completely neutralized by.... wait for it!..... A BLASTER! Twice in umbara alone you have nearly met your end because the enemy has a flimsy pistol. Watching Malcolm climb onto the throne and activate it, i watched in complete sadness and disbelief as it took him a good 5-7 seconds to climb on and punch a few buttons, while i'm sitting here "come on man!....use the force!...throw lightning!...you've got tons of time!... force pull him...throw him off the edge...saber throw!............or just stand there like a sodding tool and let him activate the big bad weapon of death....ya that works too..." So maybe Theron feels that this mysterious order is going to send 2 untrained goons with slingshots, but they'll wait to attack you until you're in a cutscene...

To me a lot of the story seemed like it was leading up to some sort of epic reveal or grand plan that just never showed up. Valkorian obviously allowed the player to stab him in the back without much fight, i'm assuming as was said to eventually take over your body, but again...why? He seemed fine, controlling the whole empire that wrecked both dark and light. Ya Arcann wanted to take the throne but in his attempt he was severely outmatched by Valkorian. Vaylin didn't seem to have any interest in the throne until Arcann was gone and scorpio was like "oh here, i think you dropped this" a lot of it seems clumsy and stringed together, like each chapter was written by someone else in a weird round robin and each person was like "well crap look what this guy wrote...now i gotta work off that!..?"

Heh ya, after all the war and getting wasted by the eternal empire they were like "uh ok guys, who's left?" "well there is Jace Malcom" "ugh anyone but him" "there IS no one left but him...." "well ****..."

usually i end up on servers/guilds etc that use west coast, i guess i got lucky this time
