they applied a patch. if everything went smoothly in the process yes it will get done early. if the patch took 2hrs or if took 70hrs. no more or less is getting done. this patch was approved to be applied. just because the servers are down doesnt mean the code monkeys are writing new code to be put in right away, they have to test it first. gosh darn. seriously 30days up yet? and are only active accounts allowed to post?

most of you fools, including the op are forgetting one thing. that technology is always evolving, the code that this game is wrote in is not the same code used 7years ago. technology evolves. if you gave them the exact same tools that wow used, updated with its most current versions. you could complain. but some new software that wasnt even developed 7years ago is going to have unforseen issues. its not that hard to believe. hell remember that horrible windows before 7.... new stuff has issues, that no amount of testing can prevent. ppl just exploited wows new raid finder... ffs...

this is a problem is primarily with ati cards. soooooooooooooooooooooooo how about you go spam the ATI forums and tell them to put out some new drivers. Cuz yes, that will fix this issue. but since your knowledge of programming is superior you already knew that.

a lot of these chest you had to death crawl to get to. and there are plenty of high level mobs around.

it was not single characters camping a single chest. it was ppl forcing chests to respawn, and looting them on alts.

well, i guess these are all the same people who felt that getting banned in Modern Warfare 2 when you could run around with a javalin launcher die and kill 4ppl at a time was legit move. i guess its just a maturity thing. or entitlement thing. or the devolution of humanity. thx for enlightening me.

no, im sorry. this was not a credit gain. this was pure exploitation. if you dont know how they were doing it look it up, as im sure it isnt allowed to post. they didnt say farming lockboxes are or traveling around in a circle for these chests was wrong, it is something else. also. you didnt explain why you feel its okay to take advantage of a broken mechanic. basically what im getting here, is most of you dont know what the exploit was and think that a single character was camping a single chest waiting for it to respawn. that isnt an exploit at all. forcing chests to spawn and collecting them on multiple chapter 1 alts. how can you say that isnt an exploit

Can some people explain to me the defense of exploiting players? i read how they threatened and temp banned some accounts for exploiting a game mechanic on illum, and people get up in arms like because if its in the game it should be allowed. and its not just here i first read about it on pc gamer and ppl are defending the exploitation of a game. is it just cuz i grew up in a different time of pc gaming, where having admin rights and banning cheaters/exploiters/hackers on <insert halflife mod> was an enjoyable thing, to keep the community clean, and it being a reward in that. i can understand how some of the people dont understand what was happening, and maybe they think it was if you just looted a chest once or twice. im not going to explain what was happening as it does not need to be told. but it involved multiple characters, it was not just one person traveling around "farming". either way. why the defense for stuff like this? i would like someone who honestly believes this behavior is okay and calmly tell me why. i just got to quesh and im 39 im over leveled. did every flash point once, tarel V twice. pvped to get 6pieces of the level 20gear. completely skipped tarris' side quests, never liked that planet in the beta. dunno. maybe i pvp'd more? daily quests?

i get the frustration here but i dont know of any game that looks at your current gear and says, no you have something better, no roll for you. id just be happy limiting if you can use the item.
