  1. I liked the female human agent voice a lot and there were a number of good work overall. I liked the female human jedi voice as a far second. But I hated the female smuggler voice. God, she was awful. I quit at level 10, I just couldn't get over how bad she sounded.
  2. Oh, you're right. Those eyes and his pronoun usage? Completely normal! Why, he has a mind of his own surely, except he says he doesn't multiple times due to the hivemind. That's very human, right? It's not? Oh. Face facts.
  3. I hated Vector from the moment I saw him. First, he's melee and this game is anti melee. Second, he's light-factioned on an empire-only class. No thanks. Third, his eyes, ewyaugh! Fourth, bug fetish and no personality of his own. No means no. I flirted with him once and got the rubbing forearms thing and stonewalled him after that. Thanks but no thanks. Since there's no other romance-able males on my ship, I'll wait for same-gender romances long before I ever, ever, ever consider Vector. He's the *worst* romance-option for women in this game by far.
  4. The heart of the problem is nerfing the only good (provides a benefit at 50) craft (biochem) on the prospect that sometime in the future other crafts will be better. We're not told how they will be better; we're not told when; what's the point of craft skills for the next half a year? I'm sorry, pretty close to quitting personally. Probably when 1.1.2 goes live.
  5. How many of the people you hope to reach will be playing at this future potential date?
  6. It still doesn't address the heart of the issue. Yes, in six months, we may be able to wear orange gear instead of tier purples. The problem is, there isn't any orange gear that's any different. Take jedi knights for instance. Hoods for republic (they don't want hoods), and no hoods for the imperials (they want hoods). There is maybe ONE OR TWO tunics without hoods; they don't even look very good, they just happen to be a lesser of two evils. Until they ADD ORANGE GEAR THAT LOOKS THE WAY WE WANT IT changing orange gear wearability means absolutely nothing. Robes - need a hood toggle. Robes need to remove the excessive clip +posterior. Smugglers don't want to look like superman with a bonnet. PVPers don't want to look like garish space samurais (sentinels), etc, etc, etc. We're talking about a game with 50 levels of gear and 40 of them are AWFUL and have no connection to Star Wars at all. Addendum: Medium armour says hi, they want you to introduce us to some bracers and belts that non-smugglers can wear.
  7. This has been explained and confirmed previously. In hardmode flashpoints, social points and alignment changes (+ and -) do not take place. Completion says it does, but it's easily verified via your Character pane that it has not. It works fine on normal modes, but not on hard. Until it's fixed, feel free to choose dark side options to speed up flashpoints. There is no drawback to doing so.
  8. Throwing my name in this arena as well. All this time customising our character's facial appearance for nothing. I'd be fine with the upgraded armours if only they had an option for /hoods. As it is, I'm using level 15 modded synthweaved armour, stuck with 51 armourings, and using those instead of the tier 3 rakata gear because of the hoods. I know that BioWare has stated that they plan to allow Armouring to be removed from artifact/tier gear later, but that doesn't change the incredibly poor selection we have to choose from that DON'T have hoods. It's addressing the problem without addressing the underlying issue of the problem. We simply need more to choose from. Simply put, having the helm option in character preferences remove hoods off robes would solve so much so easily.
  9. Net result: everyone that hits 50 quits. Hate to break it to you, but 1-50 isn't very long. It's a very bad position for them to be in.
  10. That's not the case. Tionese, Columi, and Rakata are, respectively, tier 1, tier 2, tier 3. This is easily proven by the level of mods in the armour. Tionese is 52, columi is 56, rakata is 58. Nothing has been reversed. Only the rakata weapons are broken, and they are one of the most important things of any loot tier. Weapons make or break us. Quite frankly I'm getting closer to walking the door/quit because of this. It has gone on TOO LONG and it's a glaring issue that they continue to ignore. Nobody cares how you handle refunds of the item. Just do it. If you listened to your beta testers, you wouldn't be having this issue because it was reported many, many times.
  11. Tier tokens are rarer in flashpoints, at least in my experience and those people I talk with on my server. Possible that's just a small sample size, but that's quite a few people and quite a lot of hardmode flashpoint runs. There are no orange medium-armour belts and bracers that are equip-able as a Sentinel (only smugglers). Just stop looking. They were all removed as near as we can tell.
  12. I can confirm this as a Combat Sentinel. I have 2/2 in Debilitation (restricts target's movement while master strike is channeled) and there is absolutely no stun effect. Debilitation is meant to give Master Strike some viability in PVP. But removing it's PVE function by talenting into it is counterintuitive and broken. I am removing those talent points and just going to stop PVPing until various things are fixed.
  13. At what point do we stop pushing accuracy? I've heard 105% bandied around, but honestly? Special attacks are already above your base rating anyway, so 100% base is actually a 108% special (mainhand) and 78% off. The real question in prioritising stats is knowing the caps we're aiming for. Anyone have some useful information regarding accuracy? Lately I've been aiming for 100% ish accuracy base and pushing hard on surge/crit.
  14. I'm using a synthweaved tunic as well, but I know that end-game ops won't support my use of it soon. (A lot of end-game gear is two socket gear, as opposed to three. That's another solution, converting all epic gear to three sockets instead of two, but I doubt we'll see that happen.) My problem with hooded robes is that they hide your face, thereby effectively eliminating all the time you spent during character creation. Using helms to prevent hoods does nothing to reemedy this problem, since once again you're hiding your character's face/details. Have you ever noticed none of the Jedi Masters in the cutscenes or Class quests use hoods? There's a reason, it's called character identity. I'm all for having hoods, but as an option. There's a reason we have a "helm on/off" toggle. It should apply to hoods. Period.
  15. Tested and confirmed. Blade Storm is definitely affected by the armour penetration afforded by Precision Slash. Consistently 2400 damage without, 2900 damage with.
